I had an extremely frustrating experience today. I patiently waited in line, eager to deposit my cheque and cash, which amounted to $2,700 from the cheque and $2,800 from my rental income. To my astonishment, the teller somehow managed to complete the transaction in a way that showed $2,700 deposited via cheque and $2,800 cash withdrawn on my receipt.

Excuse me, but I can recognize a mistake when I see one, and this seemed far from accidental. Instead, it appeared intentional. The teller concluded the transaction, leaving me with the false impression that everything was properly deposited. In reality, my cheque for $2,700 might have been deposited as intended, but the teller essentially pocketed the $2,800 cash I had brought in for deposit. To make matters worse, an additional $2,800 in cash was somehow marked as a withdrawal, bringing the total to $5,600.

If I hadn't meticulously checked the receipt to confirm its accuracy, I could have easily had $5,600 mysteriously vanish from my account. This experience is nothing short of ridiculous and entirely unacceptable. It ranks as the worst service, if not the most suspicious service, I've ever encountered compared to any other bank.

EDIT: This specific branch has consistently provided good service to me in the past, with the exception of my recent experience.

I received a callback from the branch, and they not only offered a sincere apology but also assured me that the amounts were properly adjusted. It's reassuring to see their commitment to resolving issues promptly.

Last Friday the ATM took my paycheque but did not post the amount to my account. I called customer service and they weren't able to do anything on the phone, said to wait until Monday when the branch opens. I called Monday and they made me play phone tag back and forth between the branch and Member Services. I decided to go into the bank and show them the receipt for the transaction that wasn't posted. They checked the ATM and said it had been taken to "balancing". Unacceptable that they couldn't do anything about an issue that was clearly their fault. I do not trust this bank anymore, they have failed me. I have no money to pay bills because of their ATM not working and my account is in overdraft. I highly doubt they will cover the late charges on my bills. Never been more mad at a bank before.

Quite, clean, friendly, very Customer Oriented. Knowledgeable staff, fast tellers, very helpful security guard. Simple yet very friendly Account managers. All in all a wonderful bank to deal with.

Their app is terrible now. Utterly useless. It’s like designed by someone that doesn’t want clientele.

This is the worst Vancity ATM in the city. Countless times the doors are locked after 9: 00pm or there is a malfunction with the doors to the ATM plus the smell of urine which is just outside of the doors makes this a very unpleasant experience.

I do deposit for 3 years from same pay cheque same company and I usually go to defrent bank but this bank come in my way and when I was deposit my cheque They say we have to hold the money for week! And took them forever to do the direct deposit.

First i would not bank here, the hour's are not good, every time i try to do some banking they would close upon arrival and they don't open Monday's. I had so much trouble with this bank, trying to resolve issue's with my account, with passwords, with online lock outs, and fee's! I don't have any problems with my current bank that im with for the last 20 yrs! So why would I even switch? Anyways it was under circumstances that i was forced to open an account here. This bank may work well for some people but not for me.
