I am very grateful to Atefe rashidfarokhi, who took the time to guide us to choose the best way and gave us very lively advice.

I'm writing to express my disappointment with the handling of my tuition fee refund request. Despite meeting the college's criteria for reimbursement, my attempts to seek assistance have been ignored. This lack of response has left me in financial distress and uncertainty. I urge you to promptly address this issue and honor the commitment to fair treatment of students.

I have taken an ECE course at VCC. I met a great instructor. Negar is very supportive, detailed, patient, kind, and eager to help. I would highly recommend to anyone interested in learning ECE. I have thoroughly enjoyed her classes. I can't believe how much I learned in her class. I plan on continuing my education with her.

Way back 2005 when I decided to study. I have a 3 month old baby and sometimes getting late which is out of my control because I don't have a baby sitter in place yet but it was on the process. Back then I just want to get an education to have a better life for my kids. So I risk it at this school even tho my baby is very young. So this school and the pregnant professor who always smoking in her full term and the bad bad and inconsiderate lady director of the school back then they both dog on me to kick me out of school because I couldn't make it on time sometimes I know it's easy because they already got my student loan funds this school is money hungry they don't care about their student I will never forgot you two. Karma will get you.

The Impact of My Loving INFANT AND Toddler instructor NEGAR

NEGAR ‘s patience and love nurtured my curiosity and passion for learning. Her guidance laid the foundation for my growth, instilling confidence and shaping my character. I'm forever grateful that NEGAR was my instructor, and she always shared her chocolates and snacks with me. SHE IS TRULY CARING AND UNDERSTANDING!

It was a great pleasure meeting you and gaining so much knowledge, it will have a huge impact in my life!

Kudos to you!

Teacher Violeta taught me ECE (Early Childhood Education) and she is absolutely amazing. Very supportive and caring. Teacher Negar is also supportive so both teachers are highly recommended. Special thanks to Julian and Tina for helping me get through the programs!

It was the most horrible place I have ever seen they do not have enough information or they do not want to share them, no respect to students, I compiled but no answer from head office. They are not responsible I suggest to you find the another college.

We have some issues about sub instructor and I went to campus to talk to Student services coordinator, Julian Pascuas, and he answered: This is what it is. Go out. Leave here. I said this is not good behaviour. He answered This is the behaviour of this generation.

I had the pleasure of going through the admissions process with Donatina. She was very professional and knowledgeable about many of the courses Vancouver Career College had to offer. She gave me great insight into my chosen profession and today I am so glad I went through the RMT program at Vancouver Career College. The RMT program really prepared me for my Board exams and for the tools I use everyday in my career.

I enrolled in the Education Assistant Program here in VACC Coquitlam campus. The staff here are friendly and helpful. Especially, my program instructor Nichole Loza. She is such an amazing teacher who has more than 20 years of working experience as an EA and instructor. Actually, the course sometimes is a little bit theoretical, but Nichole makes it much more practical by sharing lots of her own experiences which is truly priceless.

I took the ECE basic course at Coquitlam College. This is a very intensive 10 month course but our instructor, Negar provided professional and organized lectures and materials. Negar provided sincere feedback to improve my professionalism. I will complete this course and will also take an IT course with Negar. Because she is the best instructor!

I am a IT Student in this campus. This is my first experience with Coquitlam VCC Staff. I got lots of help from the staff, especially Campus Director Prabhjit Kaur and Manjinder Kaur. But my all time favourite instructor is Negar, who is very professional in our class and always ready to help her students through hard times. She is very understanding towards her students and humble by nature. ️️

I would give this a negative star if that was possible. The way they conduct their ECE program is atrocious. They treat their students and staff like they are easily replaceable. They collect money and don’t teach a thing. It’s unfortunate because you’d expect better care from a privately own business. The teachers are amazing but the higher level people are absolutely horrible. If any of the programs needed attention it should be the ECE one, the field is already short stuff. However when you treat people the way the higher ups treat students you wouldn’t want to be in the field too. It’s always unfortunate to see this kind of treatment of their student. I see the field not getting very many educators from this school.

I'm so glad I got to meet my teacher Negar, she is the best teacher I've ever met. She's very patient with us and she's very professional. Thank you!

Currently enrolled in the Veterinary Assistant Program, online program allows for a work life balance. My professor, Samantha, is knowledgeable, kind, and very supportive. I enjoy the various hands-on trips we do such as visiting animal sanctuaries. I would highly recommend this program.
24 August 2022 14:40
Enrolled for VHCA and it is a wonderful experience. Colleagues and instructors are wonderful people and make learning more engaging and fun. Trips are also done for animal engagement and hands on learning. Class is fast paced and takes some time on getting used to although it is manegable. Campus is small and cozy although I wish it was bigger. Tech supports and admins can be hard to contact from time to time but programs that are offered here (especially VHCA) is something worth checking out.

I started my Early Childhood Education program last November at VACC Coquitlam Campus. I am so lucky to have Negar be my instructor. She is so so nice, patient, helpful, creative, meticulous and professional. She is the best teacher that I ever have. Almost all good qualifications can be seen in Negar, which is the reason why we all like her very much. I have to say that learned a lot from you, Negar, thank you very much.

My name is Saghar and I am the ECE student. I have just finished my modules and ready to go to practicum. My instructor, Negar was amazing, she is so knowledgeable, kind, caring and a patient teacher, I couldn’t ask for more! I believe everybody in class loves her, thank you Negar for all you did for us, I learned a lot from you.

As an infant and toddler program student, I really like our instructor Negar. She is very knowledgeable, patient, organized and supportive. Also, she is beautiful ️ I think the whole class, we all love her. Whenever we have a question, she can always give you an answer, extended information or helpful resources, such as websites, and books, which let me gain a lot of knowledge from her.

Hello, I started my IT class last October and finish my class this Saturday. The reason why I wrote this review is that I want to meet my teacher and good friends and share the joy of achieving my dream.
And I want to help many friends who give up challenges because of language barrier and late age like me.
My instructor is Negar. She always conducted classes with sincerity and brightness. And she always gave me consideration and encouragement for language difficulties, so I could do it without losing confidence. Also, she always answered my questions quickly and made my heart happy. She believes in excellence as a teacher.
I could achieve my dream of becoming an IT teacher soon. I hope many friends will participate in her class and get good results.
Thank you very much for supporting my last challenge, teacher Negar.
Be happy always.

I finished SNE class in March 2022.
The reason why I wrote a review is that I want to thank Karen teacher and give good news to many friends who want to study SNE. I am a foreigner and I started studying SNE very late. But I was really lucky. Because I met Karen teacher with passion and professional knowledge. She always encouraged me with positive and caring words and guided me to achieve my dream. And Karen teacher understood the students' minds well and taught them a wide variety of approaches to taking care of children in the field. Her class was very classy.
If you are thinking about starting studying SNE, I hope you have a chance to challenge yourself with Karen teacher.
Thank you, teacher Karen

Donatina the director of the admission is very friendly, highly qualified and incredibly helpful. She played a crucial role in guiding me with securing financial support before I can start my program. Thanks Donatina!

I had a really great experience from this school. I took ECE PM class and the instructor Leah was literally the best. She puts so much efforts to prepare the class and take care of all students. I made lots of lovely friends by taking ECE classes we were like a family:) Also Fernando who is a campus director always help us everyone whenever we have a technical issues not to mention all of staffs are so nice including Harmin.

I heard about the ECE Program from my mom’s friend. The staff at Vancouver Career College Coquitlam Campus are extremely friendly and passionate. I love my teacher Leah and the office administrator Harmin! Their support and assistance has helped me a lot! The class size is small which makes it easier to learn the material and students get to know each other better. I have created deep and lasting relationships with my P. M. ECE classmates, we are like a family!
We had some problems in the beginning that was a bit chaotic. Some students including me were unanable to access the textbook. Overall I have had a positive experience at this campus and I am grateful for what all the staff have done.

I'd like to share my experience stating the pros and cons of my experience in the EA program at this institution. Id like to point out that during my time here the campus was ran by a different director so that greatly impacted my cohorts experience. However here are the cons we experienced - Not having our complaints resolved, having our concerns disregarded, our practicums not organized and having our program extended from a mistake of the staff. I'd like to say the staff here are not bad, it is that they do not receive support from whomever owns Vancouver career college and CDI. Staff are given tasks that are not even in their job title a lot of the time. For this reason many are not skilled or knowledgeable enough to address our concerns or get a task done properly as they are not trained or knowledgeable enough to do that. That is not a fault of them but the general institution and how it works. The pros of this institution- You'll make friends and meet amazing people in your cohort, I had instructors who were awesome they know who they are and unfortunately they are not at this school anymore from my knowing. The general EA curriculum was messy for me as Covid-19 effected us but the program, if done smoothly gets you prepared to work with vulnerable students and knowing what to do when things get rocky. When I had an issue come up after the other campus director left, the current director Fernando addressed my problem and was very flexible and accommodating for it. I'd like to address it was stressful dealing with practicums because for my whole cohort they didn't set the practicums up early and they left it last minute. Making us all frustrated, worried and anxious about our futures as we could not plan around it.
Because of this institution I did learn the power of demanding what you NEED and sticking up for myself. You should not have to experience that when going to school and that is why I negatively rate it. I would recommend looking at other options if wanting to do the EA program or ask the staff to talk to the students In real life about their experience because not everyone will have the same experience as me.

Cash grab (the program (VA) I wanted is around 12,000 and another school has the same program for just over 6,000, what makes your program worth double? !) Sketchy location for Coquitlam, building is attached to an apartment building looks like there should be stores there, not classes. They don't list standard tuition fees on the website and then ask you to come in for an "interview" to tell you the information that should already be listed (they give the reason of bursaries and scholarships, but every course has a standard fee! List how much you could get off in a side column if your concerned!). They asked me, a random person, to come in, in the middle of a second wave of the pandemic, unnecessary and creating a risk. This is not a college this is something else. I've been to post secondary before and I was shocked.

I wish I could give this school 0 stars. I am currently a student in the Social Services Program. The only good part about the program is my instructor who taught us from the beginning of my course (since September), who teaches with integrity, ethics, and lots of details to let us learn to the fullest extent. The campus director, Fabiana, is absolutely incompetent, and treats the students as if they are dirt on the bottom of her shoe. She has continuously treated my classmates with disrespect, and has bullied the students on numerous occasions. While this course includes certification, Fabiana waits until last minute to inform the class, and when the class complains about the lack of notice she disregards it by saying “it’s not my problem, deal with it yourselves” she has no respect for the students who have paid well over $11,000. Save your time and money to go to a school that actually cares about the students and provides education in an ethical and informative matter or at least go to a campus that is competent and actually worth the money. I cannot express the disgust I have for this director, her lack of respect has caused members of my class to cry (including myself) after she bullies them and talks to them in an aggressive tone. Vancouver Career College continues to ignore the students complaints, they are protecting an incompetent, unethical person who has continually intimidated the students in my class including myself and our instructor (s). Shame on Vancouver Career College for not standing up for your employees and student body who did not pay to be in class to be disrespected and to sit in fear. It is clearly shown that Vancouver Career College does not care about the students who attend, they only care about the money in their pockets. Save yourself the money and emotional turmoil you will experience while attending this school, and go to a school that will properly provide you with the education and respect you deserve. This is my personal experience attending Vancouver Career College, I wanted to share my own opinion because I believe in advocating for what's right and speaking out for the mistreatment of myself and others.

I am currently a Veterinary Healthcare Assistant at this campus. I love this school and the course that I enrolled in. The teachers are amazing and Fabiana helps guide you through your school year. The school supports you and will help you out with every step. They care about your needs, your problems and understands all situations. Fabiana is compassionate and is there with open arms. The program is fantastic and help build up my passion for animals. I would highly recommend this school for everyone who wants their dream career to come true.
