I had root canal procedure done by Dr. Balogh today. He spent some 15 minutes explaining the procedure involving root canal material known as BioCalex. I opted for BioCalex material many years before and was very satisfied. Unfortunately, not many dentist are using this material anymore and Dr Balogh is one of the few holistic dentist in the Lower Mainland who uses this product.

Had a broken tooth. Super painful. They fit me into their busy schedule and got a root canal that day. Then fixed the cavity. Super professional and caring. Wanted my experience to be as painless as possible. Best team around.

I really enjoyed my visit to the Vancouver center for cosmetic and implant dentistry. There is a warm welcoming feeling upon entering the business. Everyone was so professional very helpful. My concerns were understood and dealt with in a methodical manner. Truly my teeth cleaning experience one of the best. My appointment was very stress-free.

Dr. Balogh and his team did an outstanding work on my overdenture, I can finally eat normally, again. Dr. Balogh is truely skillful and professional, I didn’t feel any major pain during the whole implant surgery process, nor was my face too swollen after the surgery, and everything went smoothly as planned. Any concerns were addressed quickly. Vicson also did a great job on my denture, both in terms of form and function. Everyone is super kind and caring in the clinic. I highly recommend them!

Not recommended, I booked through opencare but it was a big mistake. When I booked my first appointment, they cancelled on last minute saying dentist had some emergency. And they quoted me $480 for whole service, but actually they charged me 420 dollars for incomplete service and quoted $250 for remaining, so in total around $670. Moreover, I booked for a specific dentist but got some another hygienist. In a nutshell, everything was bad, the customer service, the dental service, and overall experience.

Dr. Wong and Blessy are super friendly and great at their jobs. I actually enjoy going to the dentist!

Celina is great hygienist. Remembers the history and very careful with my sensitive teeth where roots are exposed.

Another great visit at VCCID! My appointment was smooth and timely and staff at VCCID are always so helpful. A shout out to my hygienist, Shelina. She is so diligent in how she does her work and this really motivates me to care for my teeth. Had a minor issue as well that needed attention and Dr. Balogh was quick to the rescue and resolved the issue promptly. Thanks VCCID.

The Vancouver centre for cosmetic and implant dentristy has changed my view from terrible (from a quite a few other dental offices) to amazing. Pina the dental receptionist is always friendly and welcoming, Dr Sra, Het, and Blessi not only answered all my dental questions but were extremly kind and gentle while performing mine and my daughters procedures. My 5 year old daughter who was also very nervous going to the dentist, now states “she loves the dentist”. I highly recommend this office for all your dental needs especially if you’re looking for a dental office that you can trust.

Was a client for many years as I worked in Metrotown, and continued as a patient long after Dr Nasiry had left. My experience with a new dentist (2019?) started with him commenting about needing to get to his son's hockey game/practice and my 4pm (ish) appointment felt rushed. I was there for a chipped front tooth, and when I saw the dentists work, I was shocked that my OTHER front tooth now had a slight chip in the corner of it. I pointed this out to the dentist and he claimed he did not do it. I wasn't having it, I know what I looked like when I came in. I was in tears and filed a formal complaint but never heard anything from Dr. Balogh. I spent tens of thousands of dollars there (as did my partner) and felt like nobody cared at all. Front desk staff used to be top notch (Mario, the other curly haired lady, etc) but I don't know what happened to this place. Good riddance to the dentist, buy a sonicare. Clearly this experience traumatized me so much that I am writing a review 3+ years later.

We have been coming to Dr. Balogh for the past 15 years. Even though there are dentists all over Vancouver, we choose to drive to Metrotown in Burnaby to see Dr. Balogh, because we are treated with respect. He listens to the patient, and every effort is made to accommodate their needs. Our experience with other dentists is that they are more interested in how much money they can make off their patients, rather than trying to take care of their needs. With Dr. Balogh and his staff, we have the feeling that we are being taken care of, that their primary concern is to get to the root of the issues and to clear them up. We highly recommend Dr. Balogh and his team, including the dental assistants especially Anita, and dental hygienists, especially Shalina and Wendy. All work with the same care and professionalism as Dr. Balogh. This is an exceptional Dental Clinic.

The Vancouver Centre for Cosmetic & Implant Dentistry comes highly recommended by me and my family for their superb care and service from the hygienists and dentists and front line staff. We have been seeing Dr. Balogh since 1997 and he is very gentle, makes you feel at ease and comfortable. I was the type that delayed going to the dentist due to very bad experiences in the past. I am no longer afraid to go and see the dentist and get my regular cleanings! I don't know what I would do with out Dr. Balogh and Wendy, my hygienist.

Peter Balogh is a complete freeloader who has been found guilty of defrauding the Canadian government of over 500k in taxes since 2005. I am pretty sure he doesn't directly pay for his own public services such as road and healthcare use. The patient and provider trust is broken, and I will never support him again. I was recommended by my dentist to check with an endodontist for a root canal procedure. Searching on the internet to find a holistic dentist who uses Endocal-10 root canal material, I found none! However, some 20 years back I had a BioCalex root canal procedure done and there were few dentists in the Lower Mainland who used it- the brand name is called Endocal-10. After various attempts, I was pleasantly surprised to find Dr. Peter Balogh. After visiting Dr. Balogh, he assessed that the root canal procedure was not required in his opinion. He took his time and was very thorough in examining my case. Dr. Balogh was very professional with good energy about him. I felt assured that my dental questions were well answered.
He was also frank to dissuade me against dental implants. I would not hesitate in recommending Dr. Balogh to anyone.

I started going to Dr. Balogh when another dentist messed up. Dr. Balogh fixed everything and I have been going to him for about 20 years now. I love the set up there and how clean it is. Everyone is very friendly and pretty understanding. Although the billing routine changed, I would not change Dr. Balogh.

Dr. Balogh is very patient and kind and only does everything that is absolutely necessary for you and goes above and beyond for that. I do recommend him for anyone. I have been seeing him for about a year now.

Dr Balogh and his team have been an excellent help in reassuring my recently dentally-traumatized (rightly so) 2 year old.the patience shown by he and his assistant, Anita, was more than I expected and was so appreciated. I have only had my first visit, with no work done yet. My first impressions were great though, friendly staff, totally respected my dental fears and are properly following Covid guidelines. I would like to thank Pina, Bea, and Dr. Wong for being so kind and patient.

They’re hands down the best dental team we’ve had be it for regular dentistry, implants, or extra care for diabetics with gum issues.
Dr. Balogh always glued above and beyond with his time (via phone and email) and my dentist fearing daughter loves Dr. Rahmani and all the dental assistants. They make her feel comfortable and I love how thorough and accessible the team is.

I had wonderful work done in October of 2019 with the experience and expertise of Dr. Balogh and also a college of his who does another specialty.

I am happy with the results and this is a solid statement for me, a woman whose had awful past experiences with dental work. I was born without my two laterals (front I teeth) and this complicated dental work of the past, from braces that left my spaces undesirably large for implants to poorly constructed partial plates and Dr. Balogh fixed this for me and gave me a wonderful smile.

I will continue to recommend Dr. Balogh and his team, and later return when I am ready to undergo implant dental surgery and gum grafting, a procedure I want as the final in my smile journey.

Visiting this office started with a recommendation from a friend. I was looking for good dental care for single implants and the ability to discuss my care with the dentist. I got that. I have more questions still and feel I will get answers again. Front office staff are friendly, efficient, and normal. Office is fresh and clean and modern but not so glitzy that I worry about excessive prices. I feel satisfied with my first visit here and am looking forward to completing a series of dental procedures with smart, skilled, pleasant, respectful professionals.

Ok i'll update my response.not a day goes by i don't regret coming here! A hack job from one of the young dentist i said i was in constant pain and they did not follow up with me they said " i'll let you call us" got other dentist to look at and said "my tooth looks terrible" so looks terrible and causing me much pain hopefully don't have to have a root canal because of this guy now have to spend more time and money to have fixed.bad business practices highly DO NOT recommend! My teeth were perfect condition. I'm reminded everyday bad decision i made coming here.i spoke with office manager and she turned it around to be my fault.just amazingly unreal treatment. GO ELSEWHERE.

Had a dental cleaning today. The hygienist was very professional. She did a great job on the cleaning and was very respectful in making sure that I was ok with each procedure that she did. I’ve been coming to this office for many years. I’ve never had bad service.

Soooo ethical and compassionate. I travel 5 hours one-way (to Vancouver) to see Dr. Balogh even though there are apparently excellent dentists in Victoria, BC.

Pretty bad reception! I just wanted to know a simple question and kept getting placed on hold (3x). After being on hold for a while, the phone would ring, a receptionist would answer again, then proceed to put me back on hold.

I’m Dr. Balogh’s patient of 8 years and am super happy with the major work I had done and continuous care. I definitely can say that honesty is their policy, very friendly staff.

Went in for an implant.
I'm very nervous when I have to sit in the dentist chair!
However, my experience with Dr. Balogh so far was excellent.virtually no pain!
I am strongly recommending Dr. Balogh if you need an implant or other type of oral surgery.
The only issue is that you have to book way in advance, the site is very busy!

I've been a patient of Dr. Balogh since 2011. I highly recommend VCCID, including Dr. Balogh and the other dentists, the hygienists, dental assistants, and staff. They go to great lengths to make you feel comfortable - especially in the case of those who suffer from dental anxiety and odontophobia, like myself. True painless dentistry. Everyone (especially Dr. Balogh) has a good sense of humour which makes the experience a joy. If you, like myself, fear the process, they offer sedation dentistry which takes the fear out of the equation. After awhile, I switched from oral sedation and nitrous oxide (NO, or 'laughing gas') to just NO: due in large part of the trust I built with Dr. Balogh et al. Two thumbs up!

This would be a five star review if we did not get experience of Dr. Norman Wong in the same clinic.

Dr. Wong himself would get 0 stars if possible. He was arrogant, unhelpful, and told us that our daughter that is 13 years old would need a dental surgery to correct her slight under-bite. This is not true as it was examined by other orthodontist and found that she will not need such an invasive procedure and her case is not as complicated as Dr. Wong made us believe. Our experience with Dr. Wong was unnecessarily stressful. Our family have never been so unprofessionally treated before.

I have a good experience. The atmosphere is relaxed and the staff is professional and welcoming. I will surely recommend my friends and family. Thanks

Dr. Rahmani has a very charming and kind demeanor. He displays great skill and attention to detail as well. He really seems to make an effort to do his best work possible. I have found, in my experience, that all the dentists and assistants I have dealt with here are very considerate, pleasant, professional and competent. I get pretty overwhelmed when I have to sit through a dental procedure, but each time without exception they have made the process as physically and emotionally tolerable as possible and that goes a long way in my opinion. I'm gonna go ahead and say that it's for sure the best dental office I've been to. I sometimes actually look forward to going to the dentist because of discovering this place. I would highly recommend VCCID to anyone.
