Went on the Gastronomic Gastown Tour with coworkers, today! The restaurant hopping was fun… and our guide Anjela was awesome. She explained about the history of Gastown and the restaurants… Overall it was a fun experience.

Authentic Asian Eats tour is truly authentic and gives visitors to Vancouver the best opportunity to try a wonderful selection of Asian cuisines outside of Asia.

The food provided was exceptional particularly the wonton in chili oil at Parker Place and the winter melon pastry at Kam Do bakery.

Angela was very knowledgeable and was a joy to have as a guide. 10/10 would go again.

We immensely enjoyed a great tour with our knowledgeable guide Bronson when we had our Gastown Gastronomic adventure with Vancouver Foodie Tours. We had out of town guests and it was such a pleasure to show them around this historic area. I would highly recommend the tour with the tasty food and beverage offerings, great samplings that paired well and fit the locations.

Four of us joined this food tour and it did not disappoint! Our host, Michael, did an amazing job navigating us through a very crowded market. Well worth the cost of the tour to skip all the crazy lineups and try such a wide variety of food and drinks. The extra historical information as we enjoyed the food was interesting to hear, and we appreciated the discounts offered to tour participants at the places we visited. Highly recommend!

Recently went on a Walking Food tour of Gastown as part of a team-building afternoon. Great experience, lots of information about the area’s history and a taste of some fantastic restaurants. Shoutout to our guide, Anjela, who made sure we had a 5-star tour.

We had Michael as our guide. We learned the fascinating back stories of the owners of every shop we visited, the history of the island and the market, and details about the food products we would never know from just shopping there. The samples from each shop on the tour were all generous sizes and delicious and included white tea lemonade, a variety of cheeses, meats, fish, and pickles, Thai noodles, bubble bombs (unique and tasty), and full sizes of Australian lemon square, macaron, Lee’s Donut and JJ’s coffee. Michael was knowledgeable, personable and made the whole 2 hour experience a memorable introduction to the shops of Granville market. This tour was a highlight of our Granville Island visit!

I had a magic experience at Vancouver Foodie Tours Gastown experience. The food was amazing - an eclectic fusion of delicious dishes from local restaurants. The best part was that our guide knew the area really well so in addition to great eats and drinks, we also learned a lot about the history of Gastown. I highly recommend this tour.

In town for work so what better way to explore than jump into a foodie tour? ! Decided on the Granville Markets tour and so glad I did. Anjela the tour guide was warm, knowledgeable and enthusiastic about all things Granville! The VIP experience was definitely a great idea (jump the Lee's donut queue anyone?). Loved the tour and I was definitely full after so don't eat before! Highly recommend!:)

We had the best time with Lydia on our Foodie Tour in the Granville Island Public Market. Loved hearing about the vendors and why and how they got started in business. The foods tasted were well chosen and hit the spot every time. All were winners!

The experience is fantastic. Our guide, Anjela, is very professional and kind. She introduced the local history and told us the story behind each supplier. The local food is very delicious and fresh. Recommend to any tourist visiting Granville Island. Make sure to leave remarks if you have any dietary restrictions.

I've had an amazing tour with Preethi at the Granville Market. The group was just the right size, and we were very well fed and taught about the food we were served. Portions were generous and oh so yummy. I've done severy food tours in North America and Europe and this one is on my top 3! Highly recommend! Do not forget to NOT have breakfast before your tour ;)

I finally had an opportunity to do the Authentic Asian Eats tour with Vancouver Food Tours, and it did not disappoint! All the stops on the tour served delicious food. Michelle's in-depth knowledge was both educational and entertaining! I highly recommend this tour for anyone who loves Asian food.

Vancouver Foodie Tours is a fun way to explore the city as a local. I took the guided tour of Granville Island, with our spirited guide Anjela. We visited many places and I got to taste sample-sized products that I probably would have missed otherwise. Don't be fooled by the size, as the number of servings builds up over time. It was a fun way to network as well as learn about the stories of the businesses we visited. Honestly did not expect to be able to nibble through the variety of food items that we did.

You could tell that the market businesses and the tour group were a part of a local and close-knit community by the sheer level of preparedness in terms of catering for the multiple ongoing tours of that day. Our guide, Anjela was efficient, well-trained, super friendly, had great knowledge of the history of the businesses and area, and was always on task with dietary restrictions. Would recommend Vancouver Foodie Tours for corporate tours, as a way to engage employees and even if you want to learn more about the city in a fun way. Once I headed home, I ended up booking a tour of Richmond and I am sure will join more tours in the future.

My husband and I did this on a sunny day in September and it was a lovely way to spend the day. You get to enjoy the market and try a taste of many different places. Anjela did a wonderful job. Would recommend to anyone looking to experience the Granville market!

I took both the Granville Island and Asian Eats tour and both were AMAZING!
Our guide at Granville (Teddy) was an absolute master at managing a large group in a crowded space. He was super knowledgeable about each vendor and handed out an insane amount of delicious samples.
Daray led a surprise private tour of Richmond (only my partner and I signed up that day) and it felt like I was touring the city with a friend. She wove personal stories throughout and we ended up connecting on a lot of common interests. Oh, and of course all of the food options were spectacular.
I would highly recommend Vancouver Foodie Tours to anyone visiting the city!

This tour was awesome! Michelle (our guide) was passionate about the food and sharing the culture surrounding it. In our first stop we all sat down around a table and got to know each other while sampling fabulous dim sum. Not only did we enjoy great food and delightful conversation, but we also learned a lot. I've been on food tours all over the world and this was an A1 experience.

The Authentic Asian Eats tour was such a great way to discover all of the best local eats in the Richmond neighbourhood. Although I have been a resident of Vancouver for over 10 years, I usually only go to Richmond with Chinese-speaking friends (so that they can do the ordering for me), but now I have the confidence to not only go myself, but to introduce friends to some of the amazing spots we visited on this tour! I highly recommend this tour!

My team and I went on the Authentic Asian Eats Tour and were wowed by this deliciously culturally immersive experience. As we tracked around Richmond our host Michelle not only entertained and connected our team, but also connected us with the cultural behind each dish.

I would not only highly recommend this to tourists but also to locals as you will have the opportunity to enter spaces that can be relatively inaccessible without a guide. I guess there's a reason the tours are ranked by Forbes!

The Authentic Asian Eats tour was super tasty! Not only was the food great, but our guide was so knowledgeable on both the food and Chinese culture. Even though I’m a local I don’t visit Richmond often so it was great to be with people who can show you the best food spots!

We joined the Asian eats tour as part of our visit to Vancouver from the UK after a recommendation from family. This was the first time I had done a food tour and it was so much fun and really interesting! It was great to learn so much about the Asian culture in Richmond and there was so much tasty food that we tried. Big thanks to our guides Michelle and Daray who were so knowledgable and taught us lots about typical Asian traditions and also recommended other shops and food places along the way too. As a Brit, I would have felt a little overwhelmed in some of the places we went and food we experienced so it was great to have the tour guides there whilst you get to try lots of new and less known Asian foods.

Took the Granville Island food tour in the morning with my Dad visiting from out of country. It was amazing! We tried a vast selection of foods and it was all wonderful! Our guides were knowledgeable, fun, and paid attention to all the little details from palette cleanings to keeping our group in the warm sun! I'm definitely going on another Foodie Tour! Highly recommend for tourists and locals who want to try a bit of everything at Granville Market.

Recently did the Gastown Foodie Tour, guided by Dina. I would highly recommend this tour to both Vancouver visitors and locals. The walking tour is a great way to experience the vibe of Gastown and learn about the history from a knowledgable tour guide. The food was amazing (shoutout to the prawns at Sardine Can, I'll be going back for those) and the drinks paired so well. Dina really made the tour feel like a group of friends and was incredibly friendly with each guest, sharing her own favourite places to eat and getting to know us. Overall a great experience!

What can I say? Vancouver Foodie Tours was a delightful experience from beginning to end.and dare-I-say.post-end! Not only did I learn local stories about Vancouver, I discovered some of the most amazing foodie hot-spots, and walked away with a booklet on other places to satiate my foodie cravings. 12/10 recommend, and bring a friend. It's a wonderful experience to have with someone you adore.

My husband and I recently experienced the Christmas Classics Market tour on Granville Island and had an outstanding experience. We are Vancouver locals and highly recommend this experience to locals and visitors alike. Our guide, Dina, was extremely personable, knowledgeable, and just a joy to be around! She really knew the inside scoop on the best artisan foods and Christmas specialties to enjoy in the market, and we loved learning the personal stories behind all the amazing vendors. I had Jesse as my tour guide for the Granville Island and Gastown tour in late November. There was lots of food that was offered and most importantly Jesse always made sure that we were all having a great time. I would definitely recommend this to anyone that wants to discover all the hottest food spots in Vancouver.

Excellent food tour of Gastown with our charming and knowledgeable host Tracy. Choice of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks to accompany each delicious mini-meal. Highly recommended!

GASTOWN TOUR—- We only had 4 days in Vancouver, wanted to make the most of it. $281 for two people (includes SMALL tastings and drinks). Not worth it AT ALL. We had to go for dinner after as it wasn’t nearly enough food. All the tastings were carb based (sandwich, pizza, tacos, beer, etc.) Tour guide wasn’t on time and talked about herself the whole time. She also promoted the other tours they offer throughout our tour. Like we just spend $$281 I think that’s enough! My suggestion is to walk and explore Gastown on your own. This would make a much more enjoyable experience and you can save a ton of money!

Nadia was a fantastic guide with tons of energy and local food knowledge - and also fun stories! Think I had the best donut of my life.

I did this food tour with my parents and we really liked it! The host (so sorry I forgot your name) knew a lot about the food and the history of it. My mom and I are not that big eaters but because youre doing different stops and the host did tell a lot about the food and the history we were able to taste everything! And they are very hygienic, which I personally always pay close attention to and love very much!

Dina not only introduced us to delicious food in Gastown, but gave us so much historical information as well. She facilitated all participants getting to know each other which made the tour even more enjoyable. She made helpful recommendations about other Vancouver attractions to visit.

We had an incredible introduction to Vancouver through this tour. The food was fabulous but the highlight was our guide Tracy. She was warm and engaging and gave great insight into the city’s history. Request Tracy as your guide!

Highly recommended, had an excellent time. We took the Downtown tour at 2.30pm with Miguel. After brief into and icebreaker went to a Dimsum restaurant. Had 3 samples (lotus sticky rice, steamed bun, and dumpling) and tea. Recommend that they put out more than 1 XOXO sauce from the beginning- 2-3 sauce trays would have been more appropriate. Nobody took as much as they wanted. Second stop was Urban Fare grocery store restaurant with several samples: 2 cheeses, cracker with hummus, salmon pate and chocolate caramel. Non alcoholic drink was 2 types of kombucha. Third stop was seafood restaurant with three samples (shrimp, mussel, and chowder) and a fruit and egg white mocktail. Last two stops we had a lemon macaron and three flavor gelato cup. I was pleasantly full but not overly stuffed. Was sufficient as a meal over 3 hrs. Miguel was very pleasant and nice. We enjoyed the group atmosphere and getting to know the other foodies in our group. Looking forward to doing the Gaslamp foodie tour next time we are in Vancouver!

Fun Foodie Tour of Gastown! Tracey was a knowledgeable and friendly guide for the small group tour. It was great to be able to talk to folks around different places and enjoy amazing food and wine or beer. Definitely get the tour with the alcohol pairings. Learned a bit about the history of Gastown too! Would go again:)

We went on the Granville Market tour in December. Our guide, Nadia, was fantastic and I would give her ten stars if I could. It’s rare to be given a food tour by a professional chef who is enthusiastic about sharing her knowledge of food. The reason for the fours stars is that I left the tour with a sugar high but quite hungry—We had bread (challah), more bread, bits of cheese, charcuterie, a few nuts, and a donut. Of these, the charcuterie was the one substantial tasting which did not include bread or fried dough. Still, thanks to Nadia, I learned a lot about food in Canada and in general. I would definitely recommend the company for the fantastic guides

Was in Vancity on a solo weekend. It was a fantastic tour of Gastown! My guide was super knowledgeable & friendly and shared our enthusiasm and excitement! Great to kick off a trip because you'll want to go back to check out the places you visited again! Relaxed and friendly vibes. I'd book another one.
