Vancouver Island Regional Library – Nanaimo North

Lots of literary choices and friendly, knowledgeable staff. A bit noisy for a library though.

They keep moving the Non Fiction Section. Now the Vancouver Island Section is low down & hard to reach for Seniors with bad backs. Not good!

Everything about this library is wonderful. The children's section is like a book-loving kid's Disneyland, and the whole space is warm and welcoming. Staff are great at giving recommendations and are very knowledgeable. Programs are wonderful, and how lovely that this is all FREE!

We went to the library this morning and are delighted by the modern, bright and elegant building. We were helped by very friendly, knowledgeable and professional staff. Overall we are very impressed and would visit more often.

Smiles and respect everywhere I look. Only 5 or so computers for public use but they are of a good quality and only a 30 min time limit. Great place to bring kids for activities, look into their schedules.

Best library in town! Excellent staff, great facility. Soundproof meeting rooms, very clean and organized in a lovely modern building. Several cozy reading nooks including near a massive fireplace. Great place for training or meetings. Thank you to the devoted staff for shoveling and salting the snowy walkways outside!

This is an amazing library! This library offers an amazing variety of books, movies, music, and video games for you to check out. This library also has a huge computer station that you can use to finish school work or just some work that you need to get done. This library is very kid friendly with lots of options that allows kids to interact with computers and books without checking them out. This library has very friendly staff and very helpful service that helped me quickly without any trouble. I checked out 2 books from the Dragon Ball Z series and the books are in really good condition for how old they are. I think this library is very clean and kept clean all around the clock.

Been studying here for ages and always have loved it! Quiet, lots of resources, great location.
