I had a truly horrible experience here. They did not offer any privacy to set up - no sheets or gowns provided after I undressed, I had an audience as I got into the stirrups, and they offered nothing for cleaning up after, just had to get down and get dressed in front of the doctor. I was absolutely DISGUSTED. And I would not recommend this clinic to anyone. I'm surprised everyone else has such positive reviews, and it made me think twice about posting, but I think it if any woman reads this and goes in better prepared for what their experience might be, and it saves them some discomfort, then it is worth posting. For the record, I work in health care and provide vaginal exams, and I know what the standard of care should be, and there simply is no standard here. Disgusting.

Lovely staff. IUD replacement. Doctor was incredible. So accommodating. I’m a fainter and they brought me juice and a cold cloth. What a different experience than my last clinic. So very kind.

I had a very bad previous experience with an IUD insertion in Ontario, so I was very nervous.
My appointment here went better than I could have ever expected, with little to no pain at all. I was handled with such care. I can’t express how thankful I am for this clinic.

Dr. Stewart was so incredibly kind, patient and listened to concerns I had. She was very thorough and gentle with the IUD procedure. I would 100% recommend her!

The respect, kindness and care I received at this women's medical clinic was phenomenal. Shout out to Dr. Black who was such a pro and so professional and so amazing at his job! I would consider him an expert in his field. I recommend this clinic a hundred times over. I was dreading my procedure so much, but my anxiety was completely unfounded. The medical care I got was outstanding. I can't recommend this clinic enough.

They gave me a painful shot (freezing) inserting an IUD after I told them I didn’t want it. Not okay. This is actually illegal: it's battery.

I would 100% recommend Dr. Stuart to anybody, she was super nice, easy to talk to and talked me through what she was doing the entire time! Overall my experience was 10/10, from making my appointment with the receptionists all the way to the end; they were all phenomenal!

Very supportive and helpful, saved me completely I’ll be grateful for ever. I felt very safe and it was nice to know as a young woman that I was able to access those recourses without having to worry about money and parent consent, I feel very blessed to have had that kind of luck since I know that many women don’t.

Great well equipped space. It was the best women’s clinic experience I’ve had. Compliments to the staff for their professionalism and courtesy.

Dr Ram was amazing, super friendly and quick. The MOA I spoke to on the phone could have been nicer, but once I was in the clinic everyone was warm and friendly.

I had a rough experience at another clinic for a pap and IUD insertion and I was terrified to get another one. Dr Stewart was amazing and gentle. I didn’t even feel my pap being done. She informed me of every thing she was doing and made sure I was ready for every part of the IUD insertion. I felt genuinely cared about and I would recommend her to all my peeps with uteruses.

Dr. Black was so authentic, kind and explained everything to me for my procedure- although minor - walked me through everything as it was happening. I felt comfortable and at ease. He also made sure to send a note to my family doctor to keep them informed. Great experience with this clinic overall!

I had an appointment at 4: 20 today and no one called, after 10 minutes I called them and they close at 4: 30. There is no email to confirm appointments. And now that no one is answering phones my only option is to call the on call doctor.

This clinic has the most attentive and knowledgeable staff in all of Victoria. Each doctor, nurse, and front desk employee has always treated me incredibly well. I feel validated every time I have an appointment- they listen to your concerns and offer help or advice that has seriously changed my life. Nothing but high praise and appreciation for this clinic.

I had complications with my IUD and when there to get a new one in. It was my first time going to this place. I called to book an appointment and the lady on the phone was quick and proficient and I was booked in 3 days later. My doctor was a male and was very professional throughout the appointment. Service/receptionists could smile a little more and give clearer instructions on where to go and what to do. I wasn't sure if I could just go through the door on my own since there was a lock system on the door to get to the offices and I was confused about what to do first I had to get a pee sample to check if pregnant but also told to see my doctor and had no clue if someone would help guide me there or not since the receptionist stayed at the front desk. Other than that. It was quick and I was happy with my appointment.

Went for an IUD, PAP and biopsy. The staff at the clinic is helpful and clear, and Dr. Black is respectful, professional, and, most importantly, personable. I felt heard and respected, and the clinical procedures were well explained in advance, with many opportunities for questions and concerns to be raised.

I have had to deal with the staff and doctors here a handful of times for a few reasons and I cannot tell you enough how incredible the staff here are. Leanne, has spoken to me on the phone on a few different occasions and is so incredibly supportive and goes out of her way to make you feel heard and get in when needed. Dr. Stewart has also helped me a few times and it is so beyond hard to find kind, empathetic, doctors that will actually take the time to actively listen to you. Yet she has been nothing short of kind, professional, and compassionate towards my health needs. Would recommend this clinic to anyone, any day. Thank you ladies, you don’t go unnoticed

I was scheduled today for my routine PAP, the doctor treated me with so much care and understanding she’s eased my anxiety right away and the procedure went very well. Also the staff on the phone and in the clinic were all very very kind and nice. Thank you to everyone.

I was very impress with the service I received from everyone in the clinic. I would like to give a special thank you to Leanna who assist with booking my appointment and taking me through all the steps and was very quick and efficient with my requirements and time frame. I was also very happy with the service I was provided when I arrived at the clinic, the receptionists at the desk where very friendly and talked me through everything they needed before my procedure, the lady that walked me to the appointment room and the nurse who provided the procedure where all kind and professional, I felt like I was in good hands at every turn. The procedure itself when well and all in all I was in and out of the clinic within 30 mins. They really did go above and beyond and I'm truly thankful and would recommend them to anyone that is in need to contact the Vancouver Women Health, you wont be disappointed. Thank you ladies.

From the reception staff to the nursery and to the doctors, they are all such lovely, patient and kind humans. They make you feel safe and comfortable.

Reception was incredibly rude and uncivil.
I've given this place chances before, but dealing with reception is just not worth the crummy feeling she leaves you with.
I ended up walking out today. And not coming back. I've been told countless times my concerns will be addressed at the next meeting. But regardless its still the same cold reception to get through.

Dr. S.was absolutely wonderful! I couldn't be happier with her care and personality!
Also, I had no issues with the front staff on the phone or in person, they were courteous and professional.
I would recommend this clinic for any woman.

I always dread gynaecological appointments, but the staff here were so wonderful and made my recent pap and IUD change as easy as it could have possible been. I am especially grateful to Dr. Stuart for being so kind and gentle, and for ensuring my informed consent through every step of my intake and appointment. Not only did she foster a safe and comfortable environment, but she took every measure to preserve my physical well being with prep, freezing, ultrasound, and aftercare instructions… and we even had a few laughs! Thankyou so much for the fantastic bedside manner and positive interactions:)

Sounds like by the reviews new management has taken over which is good and it also sounds like one of the rudest receptionists I’ve ever encountered no longer works there anymore.
I got my IUD here a few years back and it was a really easy process and the doctors made me feel at ease. All of my encounters here have been warm and welcoming, minus that one receptionist.

Congratulations to the whole team! The receptionist even helped me with a problem on my cellphone to receive the doctors phone call. I’m so glad for that. The doctor was awesome! She explained every single step, making me feel comfortable and safe. Thank you!

I needed an abortion this summer and my experience getting one here was terrible. I was judged for not being on birth control. I have a blood disorder and I don't want to further increase my risk of getting blood clots. I had extremely bad experiences with birth control before and I don't want to risk my health and well-being again. Even after I repeatedly explained this, my doctor tried to pressure me into getting a hormonal IUD. I said I was uncomfortable with that multiple times before she stopped bringing it up. I mentioned wanting to get my tubes tied and I was laughed at. I know it's a difficult procedure to get, but I didn't expect that reaction from the doctors and staff. I sincerely hope I can find someone willing to do the procedure so I never have to come to this horrible place again.

Just called to ask questions and possibly make an appt after my friend told me what a wonderful experience she had here.
Receptionists basically just made me feel like she didn’t want to book my appointment for me. I am emotional as it is. Def not the clinic for me.

I chose to get a nexplanon implant at this clinic because of their "trauma inclusive" environment. When I show up a sign is there saying no family or friends are allowed in because of covid. I have severe PTSD and me getting that implant alone is not an option. I should have been told this over the phone. My mother and I are both fully vaxxed and would gladly wear masks and use handsanitizer. The kicker here is they suggest I take one of their employees in the room to hold my hand. Do you guys really know enough about PTSD to be working in this field? I will never be going back to this clinic.

UPDATE: the clinic has had new owners that only started in June. He gave me a call after hours and was very kind and understanding. They are in the midst of implementing changes and are focusing on patient to doctor relationships. I hopefully the practices will get better so other people can access these services comfortably.

Fabulous staff! They are going above and beyond to keep everyone safe from Covid. Everyone was kind and helpful.
