Vancouver Mysteries Outdoor Escape Games, Portable Murder Mysteries & Virtual Games

We had a lot of fun with the Crime in Downtown (I think that was the name). Some of the clues/puzzles were very easy and some fairly tough. It seemed that there was something for each person in our group. This is an activity that I would recommend to both locals and tourists.

My uncle and I did one of the hardest ones. We got the clues but ran out of time. We had SO MUCH FUN! It was an amazing experience and am awesome way to learn about some history of the dt core of Vancouver! I definitely recommend doing this in bigger groups (more than the 2 we had even 3 or 4 would be good) or do one of the easier investigations! I would definitely do this again! One of the huge bonuses was that it was accessible and I had a hard time finding things that were that I could do (coming from Ontario and looking online). We covered a lot of milage but everything was on ground level. Would highly recommend this activity for anyone of all ages!

I am so glad I booked this event for my friend's bachelorette party in Vancouver.

For context, we had 10 girls joining us from Vancouver, New York and LA and as a bit of a "Destination Bachelorette" this was a perfect way to explore Vancouver for those in town AND outside of town.

We had so much fun and "Detective Titus" was so funny and committed. We had a blast, I cant recommend this enough - I am definitely coming back with friends! For anyone else hosting a bachelorette, the fedora with a veil is an excellent touch for the bride to be to wear lol:)

Had a great time with my wife on our anniversary. We scored 97% and then spent the rest of the evening asking restaurants if they gave law enforcement discounts, since we are now basically ace detectives. Most of them do not. 5 stars for the game, 1 star for restaurants that do not offer discounts to detectives.

This was so worth it! The activities were well thought of. We were arguing, helping each other, every single one of us were thinking of solutions, answers to the clues and puzzles. It was a very interesting afternoon. My teen loved it! Very much recommended!

First time doing outdoor mystery game and we had so much fun. We didnt realize that we picked the difficult level but still ended up with a decent 78%. Not bad at all. We definitely recommend this unique experience.

I'm so glad we tried Vancouver Mysteries! We've done a number of escape rooms and outdoor scavenger hunts, but this combined both into a really fun afternoon for Father's Day. We live downtown, so were pretty familiar with the area, but still learned some new things. The two hours time limit worked well for us - we even had time to stop by Soft Peaks mid-game for a delicious treat. If you're from downtown, you might try to do the game without using the map (although there are a few clues where you need the map). We'll definitely be back later this summer!

I had a wonderful time doing the Murder Mystery Escape Games outdoors in downtown Vancouver. My team and I did the Murder of Jimmy Capello and had lots of fun doing it, exploring Gastown and figuring out the clues. I did this for a graduation celebration but anyone could do it. Just be prepared to do about 2-3km of walking. The team that helped get us going was in character and fantastic, the clues were easy to understand and helped guide you well. My team completed it in under 2 hours, but did not get the murder correct. Was still a blast! I highly recommend for groups to go play or as a date night! Will do another one in the future.

So much fun! Clues were challenging without being too difficult. Our group really enjoyed the adventure.

Nothing special. Guy met with us and gave us a case. We were not provided a pen, luckily we had our own pen to even complete the case.
Lost policy is a bit too much.
When we met in the end, we were asked to have a photo of us taken on staff phone but he denied to take a photo on our own cell. I was expecting a bit more fun.

Signed the team up for the game and they absolutely had so much fun! The staff and process are so communicative and efficient, every thing that participant needs to know was clearly explained. Highly recommend if you are down for an effortless outdoor team fun.

We had a blast solving a murder mystery through Vancouver Mysteries! It was a great way to see the city and learn some history in a really fun and engaging way!

Ghost Patrol is extremely difficult and very stressful. Finding clues and solving puzzles were almost impossible for our group of five. Would prefer to take care of colic triplets than do this ever again!

A pretty fun way to spend a couple of hours while exploring the city. Might be challenging for newcomers, but a great way to rediscover the city as locals.
The story is well-constructed and engaging so it justifies the price. Puzzles are somewhat simple, and I wish they had more difficult challenges.
Seems like it was just my group but our facilitators seemed less enthusiastic and less welcoming than what I had hoped for/expected.

This was JUST GOOD FUN. Crime in Downtown Game. Everyone in our team could participate at some level, it had a mix of easier to challenging clues and extremely well thought out. Our Detective handler was personable and engaging. What a great way to spend a couple of hours and use our sleuthing skills. Kudo's - highly recommend.

A great way to spend an afternoon outside and exploring the city! The puzzles were a little challenging, but not discouraging at all, and we appreciated the variety. Even after being Vancouverites for the entirety of our lives, we learned new things about this city we love, and got some exercise while we did! I'll definitely be bringing family members back to try this out!

Did their spy game with work and it was actually fun! Booked another have for a different team and they also enjoyed it! The staff are great and make the fane fun. Great way to see the city!

Fun way to spend a couple of hours in the Gastown area. Well organized, everything supplied and just challenging enough to work your brain a bit. If you're a single or a couple you can make new friends. Highly recommend!

We worked together to solve the clues and complete the challenges, and it was a fantastic bonding experience.

Overall, I highly recommend this game to anyone looking for a fun and unique way to explore a new place or bond with friends and colleagues. The organizers did an excellent job, and I can't wait to do it again!

We were looking for a team event that was interactive and working together. The Vancouver Mysteries was a perfect fit, as it took everyone's knowledge and skills to finish successfully.
