Just had a wonderful time at this excellent museum today. The museum is relatively small in size, but absolutely packed with loads of fascinating facts and artefacts, which took me a good two hours or so to fully take in. Everything has clearly been very carefully curated and put together. The two extremely lovely staff members at the front desk were also more than happy to answer all of my questions at the end of my visit, which was very kind and much appreciated! If you have a couple of hours to spare and want to take a deeper dive into some of the lesser known sides of the city, do give this museum a visit. Couldn’t recommend it more!
Good museum if you have a hour to spare but beware this museum is located in the DTES and there were a lot of people outside injecting hard drugs right near the police station in broad daylight. If you walk from Templeton station beware
I found the Police Museum intresting. Just know if you plan to visit that you have to go through a part of Vancouver that has many homeless and open drug use. Museum, I believe, is worth a vist.
A very special museum with interesting exhibits, especially the room that deals with crimes solved after many years. The autopsy room was a bit too extreme
