Vancouver Public Library, Terry Salman Branch

A very noisy library! There's no staff to stop it! Someone has brought a child, and the child is very noisy. I heard the child tell her mother, 'I'm really hungry, she didn't take the child to eat! Now is 17: 46 o’clock! Still letting the child talk loudly in the library

Very bright and modern library. The selection is not wide as it is a small branch so I use the Hold option often.

Everytime I go into a VPL I feel extremely want to find out what I don't know. Especially, knowledge about science & computing. Today, I borrow several books & magazines. One of them is a book about designing & building shed in house garden. I am confident that it can inspire me and give me further steps of success in building a shed in my garden. PL here allow me to borrow at most 50 books in my account. That is amazing and unbelievable.

Nice library with a decent selection of books. I've been multiple times during weekday afternoons and the unfortunate downside is it's very loud. People having phone conversations or pre-teen children speaking at the top of their voices while using the computers.

Excellent service from the staff, if you don't know how to use the copier, they will help you.

Quiet room is an excellent place to study in. The room is also pleasantly air conditioned.

Great place to sit calmly and study, they have their own private study room with plugins. They have thousands of books on fictions, science, art, geography etc. Open from 9-9 on weekdays and 9-6 on weekends.

One of the better and more complete facilities in Vancouver. Still limited access after COVID don't know why. More of the building has barricades in place to restrict access to shorter hours.
Still it is clean and mixture of facilities for families and individuals. Mostly parking is available.
