Vancouver Sofa and Patio

My wife and I just bought our first home and we were looking to create a welcoming, fun patio for the new space.

The people at Van Sofa & Patio went the extra mile. They “listened” to us. I find not many people do that these days. We told them our budget, they worked with us, and we got more than we bargained for. We love the set and the colour and can’t recommend them enough.

I should note, this is high quality, well made furniture and umbrellas. And I’m not knocking Canuckle tire or other stores like it (which we did look at), but you can tell the difference in quality the second you sit on this stuff.

Now… who’s coming over?

Jerry & Maria were wonderful & helped us select the perfect dining table + chairs, fire table & counter table for our new patio/deck. It was a pleasure to work with both of them. Jerry even personally delivered our cushion covers for the dining chairs & bench. There was an issue with the fire table (propane vs natural gas) which Jerry resolved immediately. Thank you!

100% amazing place to buy your patio or outdoor furniture.
Purchased the Kitsilano set 2 years ago. The table broke. Took it in and no questions asked they replaced it even though we couldn't find our receipt. Totally covered it. They were helpful while we bought it and over the top awesome on support and service.recommended you shop here. We also super compared with other shops when we bought and they have the best stuff and best selection bar none.

Good selection of Ratana patio furniture.
Teresa is very knowledgeable and took her time with us to educate us and show us all of our options. We did not feel rushed or pressured. We ended up going with Ratana and Sunbrella fabrics as we wanted quality, long lasting pieces, although they do have a wide selection at various price points.
We are very happy with our choices and how our patio transformed.
Delivery and set up at additional cost was also seamless and professional.

I purchased a beautiful patio sectional from Vancouver Sofa and Patio in summer 2021. They provided amazing customer service and have really unique and high quality products at great pricing.

Bad attitude. Last Sunday, I called them to ask a better price but they refuse to tell me unless I go to the store even they knew I don't have time. So I drove there fast after I got off from work to get there before they closed. The sofa I'm looking for is on display. Today, I called them again to ask the type of the fabric on display and the person who answered my phone already recognized me but still refused to answer the simple question by phone and insisted on asking me to go to the store in person. I'm sure I gave him the brand name, the collection name, the color of the sofa and the size of the sofa (6 seater L shape). What else information do they need.for that simple question, there's no need to go there again in person okay?

Thank you Jerry for helping us being a part of our dream project. We live in a strata and there were numerous obstacles for us to get through for us to achieve our goal. Jerry was diligent, patient and he had amazing product knowledge. We chose Ratana (copacabana sectional/ 2 allassios) based upon his recommendation and our collaboration. I wanted to wait till the space was complete before I posted a review / photos but I can’t contain myself as the space is exactly what we wanted.

I have been in retail for over 35 years but have never met anyone as great as Jerry at Vancouver Sofa and Patio. Their quality and selection is far beyond everyone else in town with amazing prices. Staff is family like and very friendly, no hard sales here! We ended up with a high quality Rattana Patio set for the price of what we would have spent on junk elsewhere.
Definitely worth the trip to Richmond if you want to speak with great staff and see great products!

After searching endlessly for a high quality contemporary sectional for a reasonable price, I found Vancouver Sofa and Patio. Wow! The best service that we received in a long time! We were able to make a private appointment and was impressed that they were able to accommodate our tight schedules. We already knew what we had in mind so it was easy to go in their store and start looking at all the pieces they had. Teresa was so supportive and so helpful - I wasn't 100% sold on one of the sectionals that I had my eye on and she suggested a rounded corner sectional - not only was I able to make the piece bigger, but also maximized the seating capacity. We fell in love with the Portofino selection and with again great assistance from Teresa, we chose the top quality grade fabric as the furniture would be exposed to the summer rain and sun elements. We definitely wanted something that would take the summer rain. We ended up with a beautiful sectional with lots of seating, a great firepit with the wind barrier, cover, and dual colored fibreglass, enough bright accent pillows to make any room pop and an amazing extendable table with stackable chairs and an umbrella that tilts and swivels so that I may cover either the table or the seating area/firepit. We were also able to get all the rain covers for all the pieces too. Overall, knowing and shopping around for this Ratana furniture - they really exceeded our expectations. You get top of the qualify furniture, amazing service and great pricing. You will not be disappointed!

The quality of their furniture is fantastic and well worth the money. I found the pricing to be very reasonable. I have purchased sofas, a sectional and now outdoor furniture as well. Highly recommend Vancouver Sofa for all your furniture needs, indoor and outdoor.

Truly bad. I'm guessing the customers leaving the five-star reviews must not have had their furniture for very long, because it fades and falls apart within a few years. The lime green couch cushions faded after the first season, so we had to get new covers (in white.do not even bother getting another color) (throw pillows we bought from a different company didn't fade at all). Then all the wicker resin started breaking apart at the end of last year, so we made armrests to go over it and try to protect the furniture from further damage. We bought a five-piece set three years ago for $3500 and despite a lot of effort trying to save it, we gotta recognize it's just extremely poor craftsmanship. I painstakingly removed all the wicker resin from our coffeetable (staple by staple) in an attempt to redo it after it totally fell apart, so I know exactly how ill-formed it is underneath. Whatever factory assembled this does very imprecise and cheap work. I almost never leave online reviews, but I'm compelled to do it in this case because I'm having to sell this set today as almost complete junk three years after buying it, for $50. Bummer of an outcome for me, but I hope if the store sees this they'll consider working with different manufacturers.

We experienced the perfect mix of attentive sales, while leaving us to browse and not feel pressure at all. We were never in an uncomfortable moment of a sales person hanging around too long etc! Super informative, lots of selection, VERY reasonable pricing and offered discounts without us pushing. Delivery charge is very fair and furniture was put together and all garbage removed! Very easy going place to deal with. Shipped all around for a leather sectional, they had the best prices for what I was looking for. Selection was a little low, they said they’re transition for the spring outdoor furniture. Jerome was super helpful, delivered the next day by this guy named George. Have been looking for patio furniture for 2 years and finally decided to make the wife happy and get some. We went all over the lower mainland and all the stores in Richmond. Vancouver Sofa & Patio has by far the best selection and pricing out there. I came to get their Bel Air set, but the charming sales girl Teresa showed me some of their higher end sets made by Ratana. We just fell in love with the Portofino sectional. It was a little more than we wanted to spend, but just the quality and comfort was worth it in the end. We did a custom order and our set was ready in 8 days. The delivery guys were very accommodating to our schedule and brought the set after 6pm so me or my wife didn't have to miss any work.so far, super happy with my experience with Vancouver Sofa, would def buy from them again.
