Wow what a day we had with VYC. Aug 13 was a beautiful sunny day. We left Granville Island at 9am. It was breezy and the water choppy as we cruised amongst the freighters. What a neat experience, being up close and personal with those giants. A private breakfast buffet was enjoyed by us all, along with Himmets morning Caesars! Once out in open waters Captain Scotty showed his experience in navigating against those large swells. This was a Burial at Sea for my husband. Once we arrived at our Langedale destination Captain Scotty helped disperse my husbands ashes into the ocean. Then the charter's deluxe buffet was served. It was super and the salmon was a huge hit. Definately opt for the salmon as it was a treat. Himmet kept the wine service going as we all enjoyed the buffet. Then we started back to port and even stronger waves. I know Captain Scotty worked for his money on this cruise. I must say Himmet kept us all satisfied with drinks and both him and the Captain were totally approachable through this longer than normal voyage, It was close to 7 hours by the time we docked back at Granville Island. I was impressed at how efficient and relaxed the cruise was. I would book another cruise although not as long! Truly happy with the entire experience. I'd gotten in touch with Himmat at Vancouver Yacht Charters a few months ago about doing a surprise boat cruise for my parents' 20th wedding anniversary and to say that I was absolutely blown away by their service would be a huge understatement. My father passed away in 2019, but due to COVID we were unable to scatter his ashes in English Bay as he had wished until August 2022. I was a bit unsure about how this process would work, or what the ceremony would in fact be like. I wanted it to be perfect, and had a thousand different worries. However, Vancouver Yacht Charters, along with our bagpiper and a great tip on Dahlias as one of the best floating flowers, made my Dad's send off absolutely perfect. These guys know what they are doing, and the boat was way more than enough for my group (about ten people).

These guys are absolutely amazing! I had a beautiful Harbor cruise during my regional sales meetings last week and this was by far the most fun evening you could ask for. The crew was fun and energetic, the service and the food was amazing. The fact that you can actually do a presentation on board is pretty cool. I would recommend these guys for any occasion. Vancouver Yacht Charters are easy to contact, provide a professional service, and have extremely reasonable rates. Booking the charter was without complications. They were able to accommodate our desire for a simple charter for the purposes of delivering our father's ashes to the sea off Point Grey. We had an enjoyable burial at sea cruise on a calm and sunny day. Himmat and Scotty are friendly, respectful with just the right touch of humor. So much fun! Our company has rented Vancouver Yacht Charters twice - once for a summer staff party to Bowen Island for the day and another time for a Holiday cruise around coal harbour. Staff are great and the food the prepare is delicious!

We just had our Christmas party on their yacht. Everything worked out nicely. The interior cabin was nice and warm, dinner was delicious and the boat was well decorated. Our staff enjoyed their time very much. I would highly recommend.

The entire crew was so lovely and made the evening cruise very fun! Not only were they accommodating, but also very patient with the rambunctious bunch I was with. We rented the entire upper deck which provided plenty of room to dance, eat, have some drinks and chat with friends. During the cruise the crew were kind enough to take our photos, entertain us with pleasantries all while keeping us safe on he water.

The food served was excellent! There was a large variety - sliced beef (and pork I believed, I only had the beef), roasted vegetables, baked potatoes, two salad with a variety of dressings to choose from, and my favourite, the stuffing; absolutely delicious. The bartender on board made a variety of drinks, all which were well reviewed by the group. An important note is that the crew was wise with providing lots of bread and butter to soak up the large amount of alcohol the group consumed, it helped keep everyone’s night enjoyable!

The views at night were lovely, we lucked out with only a misty rain, so we were able to step out with our umbrellas/hoods and enjoy the lights all around Vancouver. I would definitely recommend booking with Vancouver Yacht Charters for your group events.

We needed a charter to do a burial at sea and Captain Scotty and Himmat provided the best possible experience for my family and I. The yacht was perfect, the rates very reasonable and their service exceeded our expectations. Their hospitality was top notch even though it wasn't the happiest occasion and they were super accommodating of our needs. If you need a yacht charter, I highly recommend them.

Held my wedding here recently and the crew did a fantastic job to set it up and run it. Himmat was friendly, funny, and incredibly helpful for making sure everything went off without a hitch. Scotty also did a great job sailing us around to see the sights off of the water. Food was also fantastic.

Wow, wow, wow! Our experience from booking through to the event was absolutely fantastic! Himmat is an easy going, super accommodating, helpful and incredibly hospitable host. We found that email wasn't his preferred method of contact, but a phone call worked best. Up until our event, he answered all of our questions and made everything so easy. He allowed us to come view the yacht ahead of time, drop off our decorations early and offered to help us set things up even though he has an injured arm, my goodness! We ended up organizing to bring our own dj and sound system. The captain, bartender and waitress (T) were so friendly and provided outstanding service. Our entire party had the best time ever. We highly recommend this company and hope to organize another event with them in the future!

We chartered Vancouver Yacht to take us out so we could bury my husbands ashes at sea. We were shocked to see that for only 4 of us it was a huge party boat! After the surprise, we laughed thinking that it was perfect! My husband, their Dad would love it!

We booked Royal Vancouver l for our office Christmas party. We had about 35 guests and the boat was the best size for our group.we had enough room to move around and at the same time it was intimate.service and food was amazing. They were able to provide a verity of dishes for different dietaries. It was a great experience to see all the Christmas lights around Vancouver. I highly recommend it.

The boat is perfect for rain or shine or evening cruises and since we live in Vancouver you know it's gotta rain some times! I'm here to say, the city from the water in the rain is as stunning as it is while the sun sets on a cloudless evening! The cost is great value too. We have used this facility more than once. In every case the food presented by the on board chef was delicious, well presented in generous quantities. We have seen the beautiful Christmas light displays and watched the summer fireworks contest displays. So beautiful with our ship well positioned to view the displays in detail.

The most recent event was the Celebration of Life for my husband. I asked that it be a warm, loving event typical of the man we celebrated.
The appetizers were varied and delicious and designed to meet diet needs of all the guests. Typical of this company, there were beautifully presented appetizers and beverages. The staff was attentive to each persons needs. The guest from across the country spoke of never having been to such a beautiful ceremony. I cannot tell you how much this meant to us.

We had a dinner on board Royal Vancouver. It was absolutely delicious. So easy to hire them to do everything. You just need to show up. Would highly recommend them for your next event.
