Varsha Indian Kitchen

Food was excellent, portions were a little smaller than typical, but pricing was good. Ordered 4 dishes and an extra naan for 3 people, and there was plenty. Flavours were excellent, could have been a bit more meat in the sauces. My favourite was the spicy lamb curry, it was actually spicy.

The food is not accurate to what the menu describes. “Masala fries” are cheap freezer fries with almost no seasoning, and the burgers don’t have “portofino brioche buns”, they come with low quality sesame buns, like wonderbread. The price is not reasonable for what you get. We were really disappointed and will not be coming back.

Me and my partner's go to choice for Indian food. We usually order on Sundays and get the Chef's Choice Platter for $5 off and the portions are amazing - enough for us both and lunch the next day. Flavours are authentic and never disappoint - they are ALWAYS consistent. Their palak paneer is incredible and love their samosas - perfectly fried every time! The staff are also friendly and accommodating. We love Varsha!

Their food is great. But they had only 1 server but she was lovely.i would recommend their food but dine in wouldnt be recommended especially during busy hours.

Staying on Pandora street and decided to try this place and loved it! Great food, friendly staff and one of the yummiest Gin & Tonic I’ve ever had as it was made with a cucumber mint tonic. Yum. The Indian house lager was also delicious and only $5. We will be back!)

Dropped by with some friends for lunch and Varsha did not disappoint. Already planning a return visit!

Amazing food, decent prices, sure warmed us up on a chilly Victoria evening when a lot of the other restaurants were closed already. Best naan bread we’ve ever had.

I’ve been coming to this place for 5 years now and it’s easily my favourite Indian restaurant in Victoria. The staff might change but the chefs are always the same and the food tastes amazing, gives me another reason to get excited for the weekend

We stayed close by and ordered here every night we were in town. The items on the menu labeled "mom's" were all tasty; butter chicken melted in our mouth; Naan garlic and rosemary garlic flavors were delectable; salads were large to split with 2-3 people. We enjoyed the wings with butter chicken sauce. Absolutely will visit again!

Best place for Indian food they have lot of vegetarian dishes and they know how to make with perfect recipes. We love the food. The restaurant was neat and clean ambiance was beautiful iqbal was taking order and serving us she was too good she was very polite. Really appreciated for her best customer service. Came for their happy hour as we were walking by. The ambience is lacking and the decor doesn’t really make sense. The music was at a good volume. Our server was pleasant, but lacking experience. The restaurant was empty with only 2 other parties dining. We waited about 7 minutes before our server came to take our order.
We ordered the fish pakoras which was served at the same time as our drinks. The food was delicious, but the drinks were ok.

Visited the place few days back with my friends. I must say this is simply amazing.right from the staff to the taste of food and drinks. Biryani, chicken, kofta.all were mouth watering delicious.
Surely coming back.

This was so good, I will never be able to eat Tikka Masala or Butter Chicken over rice again. I will only have it over fries with cheese curds for the rest of my life. Lol. If you have the chance to try the butter chicken poutine fries.you will NOt be disappointed.

We had checked in this afternoon for lunch in Varsha Indian kitchen Victoria island the food was amazing but felt if they had added more meat pieces that would be great but the taste was fantastic and the waitress over was nice and suggested the items to try she is a professional.if anyone wants to have mild flavours I would recommend to go with spicy then the taste would be apt as mild that was my thought overall great food and had an amazing time and nice ambiance. I would recommend this as to go place in Victoria BC

Not only The food was exceptionally well with tons of vegetarian options, but also the service was very good. The manager and the staff were extremely helpful and were very careful about what each of us liked and disliked. We liked it so much that we had dinner for straight 3 nights there.

I randomly saw the name VARSHA and walked in to get some local beer and Indian snacks. Arshad was really friendly and suggested me to have samosa/fish fries. I ordered fish fries, OMG it was so delicious and best part is the accompaniment chutney (tastes like masala kurkure) that comes with fries. THE BEST One of my best food experiences in Victoria. This place is must try.

Really great food and awesome customer service. We were really thirsty and we drank all of their cold water and they would not stop bringing me water as I asked them too.
Do try it, you wouldn't regret it.

I've always enjoyed this restaurant. Pricing and food are both great. Recent visit left me a bit frustrated but management reached out and proved their winning customer service. Highly suggested.

Update June 2023 - still great food, but their $10 lunch special is gone. Now $15+

We dined there yesterday and had an amazing experience. We were simply blown away with the quality of food and were happy when we saw the bill. Our server Alanis was personable, friendly and kind. She made sure that my family was well taken care of. The other two employees on duty were great too. Will definitely recommend the place to family and friends.

We had dinner here when I was visiting with my parents, it was an amazing experience, Hands down some of the best Indian food I have had in Victoria and Vancouver. Must try atleast once if you are visiting Victoria and want good Indian food.

I can not attest to how authentic the food is as I am not indian, but it was pretty yummy to me. The braised lamb curry was super tender and I don't eat super spicy, they were very accomadating with making the curry mild for me and it tasted just right. Although I've had better naan bread elsewehre, the ones here were not bad. The resturant is very spacious and the service was decent, I would not mind coming back here again.
