Waited for 3 hours just to get a technician to look into my cat’s injured eye and then was told it would take a couple more hours for the doctor to see her. I understand that long waits are typical in an emergency clinic but would have greatly appreciated transparency instead of telling me it won’t be “that long”. I chose to take my kitty back home and get her checked the next day and wasn’t charged anything at least.

Brought my dog in on a sunday, the recommendation I got was, use our eye vet, or get a referral to an eye specialist. They did advise that their eye vet was not board certified however.
I asked for the referral. Called the specialist the next day. No refferal. Called vca and asked for a refferal mon-wednesday. And they asked, why dont you use our eye dr. To which I replied. I WANT A CERTIFIED eye specialist. And VCA has reputation for very inflated pricing.
The guy seemed shocked by my words.
Needless to say, they never sent the refferal despite half dozen requests. My dogs eye burst in that time.
At which point the eye specialist called and asked for refferal.
It was very unprofessional and disgusting practice when a sick animal is involved.
Just fyi they quoted me $6700.
The eye specialist who eventually did the eye removal only cost 4000$.
I do not recommend them to anyone. My experience was quite a disappointment.

Saved my babies life! Very pricy and they definitely overcharge but you gotta do what you gotta do (:
14 July 2023 18:05
Excellent service. No one wants an emergency vet visit, but they make it as stress-free as possible. My dog has been there twice, both times for eating things she shouldn’t have. Expect a $500 bill, but also expect to receive excellent care.

Our 14-year-old Pomeranian was brought in on New Year’s Eve night when every other vet was closed. This facility is truly the animal ER. They triage all patients to prioritize those most urgently needing care first, just like a regular hospital for people would do. Due to concerns of possible poisoning, our pom was seen by a vet very quickly, treated for poisoning and monitored in the back for a number of hours by a specialized team. During that time, I witnessed numerous pets be brought out from the back and reunited with their families. There is a candle at reception that is lit when someone’s pet is not going to make it to remind people in the waiting area to be sensitive of others. Despite how busy it was on NYE and with limited staffing, I never saw that candle be lit in the time that I was there. I feel the staff at this hospital truly care for their patients, respect your time (and your wallet) and give it their all in the work they do. No unnecessary tests or procedures were conducted on our pom and the bill at the end was reasonable with no surprising fees. I was always consulted beforehand about potentially necessary medical procedures and given options. I strongly recommend pet insurance but I believe there are also financing options for those who can’t afford to pay in full. If you ever find your pet in need of emergency care, please take them here. I am thankful I trusted this hospital team with our furry family member. She is at home happy and resting with us now.

Caring & compassionate is words that I can describe for the service
I received from Ali at VCA Canada.

Great for the 24 hr service for all your emergency and regular health needs for your pets. Very clean, quiet and modern services with private rooms to discuss your pets health.
Plenty of complimentary parking and easy access off the busy roads of Victoria.

Absolutely amazing service. We brought our Chihuahua in with a bad gastro problem and they were very efficient in getting her information and in to be accessed and seen by the doctor. They had her treated and ready to take home in a decent amount of time, lab work takes a bit.
All staff are very friendly, professional and helpful. The clinic is clean and inviting. I highly recommend them when you have an emergency with your pet. Being new to the island we don't have a regular vet, it's great to have access to this clinic when you need one.
29 January 2023 3:47
We went there at 6 pm with a 15 year old chihuahua with an abscess tooth. 4 1/2 hours later we left without being seen. Staff was flippant, rude and cold. Horrible experience. Sad state of care for our beloved furry pets.

When your pet needs urgent critical care, you want it to be on par with human care. This is the quality VCA Central Victoria provides.

All staff are incredibly hardworking to ensure the best 24 hour care possible. They are highly skilled, extremely knowledgeable, and deeply kind and understanding.

I brought my cat in for a urinary blockage and they got started with his care before I'd even finished checking him in. The vet thoroughly explained all procedures and risks, and made sure I understood everything. All staff were empathetic and helpful every step of the way. They called with regular updates, and thanks to their hard work, I brought my cat home safe and sound!

For those complaining about the cost: yes, vet bills can be expensive, especially for urgent 24 hour care. This is a reality of being responsible for a pet, and unfortunately this kind of care is not possible for a fraction of the cost. For reference for those in a similar situation, I paid $3500 for my cat to be unblocked and monitored for 3 days. Of course, I wish this never happened, but I wouldn't consider paying less for worse care in an emergency like this.

Thank you so much to all the vets and staff at VCA Central Victoria!

The staff and doctors here are amazing. They were absolutely wonderful when we had to let go of our dear Sophie last night. Thank you to all the staff and Dr Kippen, we are grateful for your love and kindness. ️

The receptionist on duty November 8th 2022 (10: 00pm-ish) was completely rude and took the liberty of telling us what was wrong with our 4.5 month old puppy after I explained that the puppy had been throwing up (first food, then stringy saliva and bile) and specifically, that the puppy had eaten materials that were not edible. She went on to say foam was a sign of Kennel Cough and that was the probable cause. I asked where she thought my puppy would have got KC from and she said other dogs.

For the record, the vomit was not foamy (and I even said this twice), and our puppy has not been out with other dogs yet because she is still a puppy, dad and we are not inexperienced animal owners.

If you want to be a pro-level emergency hospital it all starts with professional, competent staff. This person is in need of a serious performance improvement plan or a career change. There are several other reviews that note a rude receptionist - perhaps it is the same person and its time to take further action.

I almost killed my son and his partner's dog last summer when I was babysitting and he got into the compost. There are three hundred different toxins hiding in your slimey compost, who knew? Anyway, by the time I managed to get him there the dog's internal temperature was dangerously high and I was falling apart. They were professional, kind, and correct. The dog survived, is thriving to this day, and consequently I am not disowned.
05 January 2023 11:00
I had to take my cat in for emergency care on a stat when our normal place was closed. He was quite old and his health had declined rapidly and it was a very, very difficult trip. Me and my family are very thankful for the service they provided and how kind and how professional they all were, even though it was very busy.
22 December 2022 18:27
The staff were super great and made me feel at ease when one of my best friends need immediate attention. Great experience during a stressful time.
18 December 2022 8:35
Extremely happy with the professionals who helped my dog survive a serious bout of Pneumonia. We were kept informed at all times with the treatment plan as it unfolded. These are people who really qualify as Professionals with years and years of experience. It was expensive but our insurance picked up 90% of the cost -
I would never hesitate to recommend this hospital. Sometimes very very busy and you have to wait but they triage the cases so the very sick are dealt with first. In short, smart people doing a hard job and doing it well.
08 December 2022 21:25
Seriously? Does anyone have a good time here? I think not
*updated* Sorry, sorry. I was in a bad place when I wrote that, and that was unfair. As much as I was not a huge van of the vet we met (I found her to be dry and unsympathetic), the rest of the staff was great. The front end team are on point!
26 November 2022 3:26
Had the worst experience here due to the lack of information given to us. We stayed in a waiting room for over an hour before someone finally came and asked a few questions and left with our dog. They had her in the back room for over an hour and a half and couldn't find anything wrong with her. Received the dog back and still had to wait to get the results back, which there were none. The vet assumed the dog ate something toxic and would be fine in a few hours to a day. Then we were told to see the receptionist at the front for the bill. It was $200 to basically walk in and be seen and then whatever the vet said would be an extra charge on top of that. It took almost another hour just to get the bill which is unacceptable. We showed up at 9pm and finally left after 1am. I doubt I would take her here again, felt like a money grab and they just took advantage of our emotions thinking the dog was in a bad state and we didn't have any other place to take her. Lesson learned.the hard way.
06 November 2022 17:52
I had to come here because my kitten started throwing up a bit and being a first time cat mom I was worried. $200 exam fee just to see the vet! Yes they are emergency and work all night long as well, but I feel like that high cost is them taking advantage of us. I don’t have a large income by any means, and it was hard for me to make the choice to get help. Lots of people with low incomes have pets. Please think of us and our pet and not treat this as a cash grab.
I also felt the staff were not entirely warm or friendly and the vet who looked at my kitty was not very thorough.
28 October 2022 18:43
Everyone was amazing when we had to rush our kitten. From start to finish we received nothing but the best compassionate and informative care for our kitten. Even though nothing could be done for him and we had to make the heartbreaking decision to euthanize him everyone made it the best environment possible for us to say goodbye. Yes it's expensive, it's an emergency hospital and that's to be expected, in an emergency cost is not the issue. Adopting a kitten who turned out to be terminally sick was hard enough, but our experience here was positive as possible given the circumstances. I'm forever grateful they were there giving our boy the best round the clock care possible and being there for us in the end. While I hope I never have to, I will never hesitate to bring any other pet here if needed
27 October 2022 19:02
Worst vet I’ve been to. I was sent there by my regular (and much better) for urgent blood testing as my dog may have ingested a toxin.
They did the test after a 5 minute conversation then left me waiting in the parking lot for almost 3 hours waiting. When I inquired they said “oh the machine is broken, we will do it tomorrow”. I went home and called them again at 2am for results. When I asked to speak to the vet, the test had magically been done and resulted hours before. Then they charged me $400 for that great service. Never going again and I’ll make sure I tell everyone I know with a dog to avoid them. Clearly money is their only priority.
21 October 2022 8:36
Remarkable care and extremely wonderful staff. Our dog had a major critical emergency and we were treated with the utmost respect, patience and kindness.
09 October 2022 4:45
During a scary and sad time, I felt like my pets situation was handled professionally, respectfully & diligently. Thank you to all the staff, I’m glad to know there are places like this to support my companions. ‍
05 October 2022 0:47
Thank you so much to the wonderful team who took care of our little baby Mimi. Thank you for all the updates and thank you for all the pets and love you showed her when we could not be there for her. Mimi was too sick to be cured but I know you did everything you could and I am so grateful for that.

We were on a road trip from Prince Edward Island back home to California when our dog got food poisoning. She was extremely ill. We were staying one night in Vancouver and called VCA Canada Central Victoria. The intake person on the phone was incredibly helpful. She explained that they rank the animals based on the severity of the illness and that our dog should come in as she was in the 2nd rank. We waited about an hour. The doctor was tending to other critically ill animals. We found out during our wait that they were under staffed. We couldn't tell at all. The staff who were there took excellent care of us and the the pay rate was extremely fair. Glad to say our dog recovered in 3 days. Overall, we were more than happy with the care we received. We only wish California wasn't so far from Vancouver so we could keep them as our vet!
28 September 2022 0:52
Treatment and communication is fantastic. It's a busy place so be prepared to wait if it's not a life or death emergency. Definitely on the expensive side, but there's not a lot of options sometimes.
24 September 2022 6:16
Had a emergency for my little puppy.
Staff members were so wonderful and took her in right away. She will be staying overnight. I am confident that they will be taking great care of my little Lucy. Praying for a full recovery

Update: Lucy has recovered from her injury and is doing well.
Thanks again VCA Staff for everything.

On June 26th, I rushed my cat Lily here after a month long fight from an AKI. It was tragically clear she wanted to cross the bridge as soon as possible and I could not make it in time to WAVES (my workplace). On the car ride there Lily was hyper-salivating, yowling and untouchable as it would worsen her discomfort. I would like to thank the techs/assistants that helped with her catheter placement, I don’t know how they did it without a pre-sedative but when Lily was brought back to us, she was more of herself again and in much less distress.

I too was in such a state of distress that I did not catch the doctor’s name, I believe based on your site that it was Petra Kos. She had blonde wavy/curly hair. Before letting Lily go peacefully, she asked why we we were euthanizing which was a fair question seeing as she was only 5yrs old. The only words I could form were from her bloodwork, her creatinine was over 2,000. She understood and provided some words of comfort to us that she could see we had done all we could from her esophageal feeding tube. It was quick and peaceful, not as it was thirty minutes prior. The doctor displayed comparable compassion and empathy with that I would expect from my regular veterinarian that I have a relationship with, it made a difference.

My heart goes out to all the staff at this hospital during these unprecedented times, they will be if they haven’t already, taking on twice the emergency cases. Take care of yourselves, thank you for making such a horrific situation a little less sharp.
13 September 2022 18:27
Worst experience in a vet ever, they are nice but my pup had a open wound and needed stitches, I had to wait 7 hours so they would tell me in 2 minutes just that, then offered to keep her over night but with no assurance she would get her stitches over night, as they had too many patients and she was not a priority, or SECOND option, to take her someplace else the next day, I lost 7 precious hours where she could have gotten stitches somewhere else.

They are clearly overworked and understaffed, but please tell people if it's going to take more than 2 hours

EDIT

That was on Sunday it seems Sundays are really bad, went back on Monday and they took her after 2 hours and she was ready 3 hours later, the doctor that assisted us at the end this day took the time to explain the process and other details which were needed
07 September 2022 18:20
This was not a good day. My elderly dog tore her ACL, or the dog version of it, in her left rear leg. While we waited for xrays from our regular vet, scheduled for three weeks away, she injured her other leg. She was in pain, she could not stand, surgery was not only far in the future but required six weeks of crating and rehab after with no guarantees of a cure. She was 13. How could I do that to her? VCA took us immediately and were nothing but kind and polite as we made the decision we all fear to make for our beloved pets. The doctor.a young man whose name I've forgotten due to stress.checked out my beloved Pat and confirmed what we knew, that we would not be giving her a quality life by hanging on. And so we said goodbye to this faithful, loving girl. My heart hurts, but at least I was with her in a safe space to wave a final goodbye to her spirit. Thanks to the staff at VCA. They were very professional at a rough time. Goodbye Pat. Say hello to Lucy for me. Love, your hooman.

Excellent vets. Explained thongs so I could understand what the issues are. Very kind and understanding.
19 August 2022 22:21
Very professional staff, really good doctors, great care but long delays, infrequent communication/updates from a friendly front desk staff — likely due to staff shortages? Comfortable and clean waiting area. Most importantly our dog returned to us in better shape and much happier than when she went in. If you’re pet’s in need of emergency care, we recommend this vet hospital.
01 February 2022 18:37
Arrived at this center with my cat who rarely leaves the house, was sad to see that you are forced to wait outside while the receptionists take your information. There was an abundance of heavy duty machinery less than 10 feet from us doing construction on a plot next door. Can't believe they don't allow people in the waiting room (I know some covid procedures are in place, but surely some exceptions could be made for frightened animals) and ask people to wait in their cars. The amount I was quoted just for an inspection was ridiculous, I will definitely not be returning. Receptionists were friendly.
24 January 2022 15:50
I needed to bring my kitty in for an emergency visit. The team at VCA Central Victoria is phenomenal, from reception to the vets. Specifically, Dr. Elise Boller. She is a fantastic communicator, and was very thorough and knowledgeable about what was going on with my girl. She answered all of my questions, and always kept me updated with her care. I felt that my kitty was in very good hands, and she is doing much better now. I would recommend VCA to anyone in need of emergency vet care.
17 January 2022 16:41
Worst experience I have ever had at a vet. Would give zero stars if I could. My boyfriend and I brought our 8 month old cat in as she was having some issues (abnormal green discharge) - possibly due to infection and she is possibly pregnant. They didnt let me accompany her into the clinic. After 20 mins (or less) they called and let us know that they could not examine her properly as she was being overly aggressive and wanted to sedate her as it was unsafe for them to handle her? My cat has never been aggressive or reactive. She has always been great at previous vet visits. She is 8 months and the sweetest little baby. Sedation could harm her and her babies if pregnant - I’ve never had to sedate an animal for an exam in my life! Other vets I spoke with said that this is absolutely ridiculous as they had no difficulty performing the exam! This is supposed to be an emergency clinic! How is it possible that they do not know how to handle animals? I’m sure they see animals all the time that are not cooperative! They said it was for staffs safety that they could not give her the care she needed. This is completely unacceptable, they would not allow me in to try to calm her down or hold her. In my eyes they wanted to sedate her to make more money or probably had a bigger case on the way where they could make more money. Totally money hungry organization. They charged $200 for an exam fee and did not do a proper exam! The vet was completely useless and listed all the things it could be in a very unfriendly manner - I already read those on the internet! I brought her in to get a DIAGNOSIS. Completely incompetent and will not be using this vet again. So disappointed. Avoid clinic at all costs!

Update: my cat has a severe infection in her uterus after taking her to another vet for assessment. She needs surgery ASAP or she could die. They had no difficulty performing a THOROUGH exam and said she was the sweetest girl. They calmed her without any drugs or sedation and were very kind. VCA staff clearly do not know how to handle animals. They will be hearing from me, this is completely unacceptable - I do not want this to happen to other fur babies.

**second review- I hate that I had to use overnight emergency services again, but so grateful for Central! My Golden Retriever developed an allergic reaction where his face swelled up. It started as a little swelling and itching- gave him some benedryl (my dog has history of allergies). He started acting erratic and super unusual with swelling and itching increasing quickly around 3am- called Central and they suggested to bring him down. They were super helpful and got him in right away and I was talking to Dr. Cornish (again! Thank you!) within 20 mins. Got a treatment plan going, treated him with a steroid injection and sent home with further meds. We made it back home just after 5am where Skye promptly fell asleep and got some much needed rest. Thank you again to all the staff that assisted us. Everyone was WONDERFUL! I am SO grateful to have emergency vet services available 24/7!

My experience at CVVH was better than I was anticipating. I have heard many (not so good) things in the past and have tried my best not to pass judgement. My sweet little bengal cat got hit by a car and thankfully, she must have just gotten clipped because her injuries could have been MUCH worse. I called ahead of time to let them them know I was on my way and they met me as I came in the door and took her right into an exam room to take her vitals. They came out to tell me her vitals were normal and awaiting a vet before I was even done checking in. All the staff were incredibly caring and patient with me (I've never had to deal with a pet emergency before), Dr. Cornish was thorough and answered all my concerns. Yes, it was pricey but what do you expect when it is emergency AND after hours? I felt it was fair for what I needed of them. Thank you to everyone I dealt with at CVVH last night. Me and Bagheera are so grateful you were open and available for her care.

I'm so unhappy with this emergency department. My dog had a collision with another dog in October 2019 and both his bones in his front right leg broke in half.
They recommended to have a metal plate and screws put in at a cost of over $6,000 to which I did as they are the professional. We moved shortly after but my poor dogs leg always has sores and pus over 2 years later. I can't find anyone who can take the hardware out in Canada.
I wish I had the leg amputated as he would have adjusted to 3 legs and be far better off than he is at the moment.
I went from a happy energetic blue heeler border collie cross to a poor sweet dog that is always in pain and uncomfortable
31 December 2021 20:42
My cat went to VCA due to a very delayed bowel movement. Everyone who helped him & communicated with me was absolutely incredible. The vet took time to explain various possibilities/options and answered all of my questions thoroughly. The experience reassured me that he was receiving the best possible care! Thank you so much to everyone who helped today.
07 December 2021 2:36
Emergency Splenectomy for Sequoia went well. Could have done without the staff telling us she was too old to spend so much money on.
05 December 2021 17:08
Thanks for taking care of my Chubby! Only downside is that it's really pricey: (but the service is amazing
28 November 2021 16:06
Not being able to be in with your pet.
An advocate for them and make sure treatment is right.
Is something I would never allow to happen again with my pet in the vet.
Went in for severe constipation.
Died of heart complications when drowned by over hydrating.
But not before we paid another $1,000 to try to save him and also had to sign the paperwork for euthanization and pay for that.
Good job!
Rest in peace my fuzzy friend

I don’t feel is always right to leave a bad review on professionals such as veterinarians. For the most vets are compassionate competent individuals who do a very tough job, usually behind the scenes and with little recognition and well deserved appreciation, however I had such bad experience with this clinic that I feel my review may help others avoid what my pet and I went through.

I brought my cat in distress and with pain. They made us wait for 8 hours without a treatment or examinations. They left my cat in noisy room full of other pets in similar situations.
Being an emergency hospital they get a lot of pets that need to be seen and helped ASP, so delays are understandable, however our delays were mostly because of their disorganization.

First they neglected to properly check us in, even as I followed their procedure. We had registered but somehow they forgot we were there.so many patients arriving later were seen ahead of us and they made us wait for one hour in a hot car, before they even acknowledged we were there and if it wasn’t for my insistent calls they would have probably made us wait even more.
Then, after their preliminary examination, they were supposed to email an estimate for us to approve treatment but the email back also took a lot of waiting and phoning them to insist on it to be sent.

After my approval it took them several hours before they even started their assessment, making our total wait 8 hours.

As I waited outside in the car, I started to realize that many other patients some urgent but most with MUCH LESS urgency than my cat, started to be seen and discharged. I figured that after their mistake on the initial intake they put us at the end of the line. And because we did not get their estimate on a timeline fashion they once again delayed us, and never even considered rectifying their mistake by honouring their triage and “ first come first served bases, unless dying policy”

All along my cat was in considerable pain, needing antibiotics and with huge stress at being locked inside a very noisy clinic.

I understand There were many patients who also needed to be served promptly but our experience was horrific and even if my cat’s case was less severe than others he needed to be seen, not ignored. When he was finally returned to me he was very distressed, unlike many other previous visits to the vet.

Finally as I got home my cat is limping, a condition for which he was not brought into Emergency. I called to ask why he was limping and they said they had attempted to draw blood several times from that leg so he was in pain. I don’t know what they did to the leg, but he limped for several days after the examination and after 2 weeks he seems to finally have moments of normal walk.

Getting a leg injured while obtaining blood has never been the case with my regular vet even when he had surgery a few months ago and they needed to repeatedly obtain blood from him.

At the end of the ordeal He was diagnosed with cistitis and given antibiotics, which improved his condition. I just wish they had not injured his leg.

So much love and respect for what the veterinarians as well as assistants do here.from what I understand they are quite understaffed and overworked, but they are still heroes every day.we found a cat that had been hit by a car not long ago and the staff at VCA were willing to take him and make sure he finds the proper closure with his family, as unfortunately he had passed away.the staff were very understanding, and the lengths they are willing to go are always appreciated. Thank you VCA!
16 November 2021 2:18
I was very pleased with the professionalism and clear communication from the vet while having my limping cat examined. The support staff were great too, they clearly love their work.

I should add that the vet gave me options as well - at home treatment or minor surgery. There was no attempt to up-sell or push the more expensive option. The at-home treatment turned out to be successful. I call this good value!
11 November 2021 5:04
They took very good care of my dog. It was a busy night for them yet they cared a lot for my four paw child. He has recovered well from being so sick. I felt they did all they could for him not knowing his history and what was wrong. I was pleased with all of the service. Thank you.
23 October 2021 17:31
We are lucky in Victoria to have two amazing emergency animals hospitals. VCA was able to get my dog all fixed up.
15 October 2021 3:37
I have waited with my pet for one and a half houre after I call them.
And after that I called again and they totally forget. And they said some tech will call me in 5 minutes and I waited for half hour no body called so I decided to return home because I spend 2 houres in total outside in the car and hot sun with my sikk Budgie he almost die so I decided to return home and try to treat him at home if I can.
It was the worst experience for me and my son because he was with me also the worst for my pet.i will never come back again.
12 October 2021 23:57
We had to say goodbye to our 17 year old cat late on a Sunday evening. VCA was excellent in considering his needs and were caring and compassionate with us. We greatly appreciated their support.
07 October 2021 2:11
The oncology team here can only be described as amazing. They held our hands, presented all the options and were by our side til the end.
Our boy was treated with warmth, love and respect, each and every visit. The team worked hard to make him and I comfortable through the entire journey. At the end when we needed them most, they were accommodating, compassionate and a pillar of strength for us in our hardest moment. Dr. Hammond, Jason & Lena we are forever thankful to have had you by our side as our Hudson fought his battle, we will never forget what you provided for him and us. Thank you!
02 October 2021 15:56
Here’s the quote I received for a small dog spay!
If you can, please never take your beloved pet here. Unfortunately, they are the only clinic open 24/7 other than waves. However! Waves will not do surgeries after hours, but they sure will charge you a $400 referral fee!

To be clear this (one star) is 100% a review of Amber Johanson, not the hospital, however responsibility does go up the chain, therefore I strongly suggest the conduct of this member of the "team" be addressed. Even though I am not a resident of Victoria I have visited this hospital due to my black lab thinking it would be a good idea to eat a box of SOS pads. My experience with the hospital was as good as it can be when shelling out $2000. This review is in regards to my sister's visit to emergency care last night because her 13 year old dog was in distress and having trouble breathing. The examination found that her dog was suffering from heart failure. In Amber Johanson's world this is the time to make the client feel guilty for suggesting it is time to put her dog to sleep while in the same breath stating that BEST case scenario IF the dog makes it through the night, that she will only live for a few weeks to months. I will mention that my sister has pet insurance. SHAME on this veterinarian for pressuring a grieving pet owner to make a decision that benefits nothing other than the businesses revenue. Tormenting the dog and the owner while milking the insurance company. This afternoon, the day shift determines it is best to put the dog down. YA THINK? When exactly did veterinarians start playing God? I have had a dog all of my life and the change that I have seen in this industry during this time is disturbing. I would love a reply to this review directly from Amber explaining her thinking process in this case as I am sure many other pet owners would like to hear as well. Waiting.

My pet went in walking came out unable to walk with $1000 bill for tests that were 'inconclusive'. They also kept asking me that I should come in again more testing that now I know to be completely unrelated to the actual problem. I took my pet after being in agony for the past four days to another vet this afternoon and they identified the problem within an hour opposed to central holding my dog for over 7 hours with nothin but antibiotics for no infection, while the other vet came out with a treatment plan that already has our dog back to her former self. Also cost me less than half the price with an actual result instead of sending persistent emails saying it isn't their fault and I should take her in there for more testing. I am never going again. Judging from the reviews many people feel the same.

A horrible place! They rip people off left right and centre. They rely on people’s love for their animals to scam them out of thousands of dollars.
I was quoted nearly EIGHT THOUSAND DOLLARS for a small dog spay!
If you can, run as far away from this place as you can!

I can not reply to Central’s response. So I’ll edit my own here. I’ve attached the quote sent from Central. We were given three options; pay the bill immediately and to be prepared for further expenses, finance the cautious nearly eight thousand, or surrender the dog to a rescue (understanding you will not be eligible to adopt her).
My dog unfortunately had to be spayed at this horrible institution due to her rapidly declining health.
Her name is Allison. We took her home and never heard from the clinic again.
Maybe you deleted her file?
