Vera's Burger Shack

Maybe the best burger in town? So fresh! Plus the friendliest staff for sure. They genuinely seem to both like and appreciate their customers. Fast service as well.

My bill came to $30 (including tip) for a single patty bacon cheeseburger, 6 onion rings and a fountain drink. Everything was freshly prepared and a tier above typical fast food places but the mediocore taste did not seem worth the huge price premium.

Service was very good, burgers were ok. I thought mine was a bit greasy compared to other times I have had it. Everyone else loved theirs so maybe it was just mine But overall it was decent.

Had a craving for a great burger made the way I wanted it. I had no expectations other than taste.

My burger was great and the two people I brought along felt the same.

In this branch, the taste and ingredients were not supposed to be, totally different than another branch that i used to go in vancouver!

We had the BEST burgers today here. The service was great, Im assuming it was the owner there; and he was so very kind and welcoming. If it wasn't, then that employee deserves a raise.
Give this place a try, they deserve your hard working dollars.

Had a hot dogs with burnt onions and the bun was squished flat. Why would they serve that, not going back. Also light fixtures are filthy with an inch of dust

Food is way over priced. $28 for a burger, small onion rings and a small drink. And nothing special about there burgers. Will not be going back.

Love this place! Always impressive! They are short on a specific item but still they make excellent Burgers anywho.

The people, place, and decor are great. I especially love their special burgers, and their fries are amazing. Overall awesome place.

I had the grilled chicken burger and fries and it was disgusting! My mom had the natural burger & fries.she said it was inedible and had no idea what kind of cheese was on the burger even though I asked for cheddar and it tasted very weird and looked odd! Even the burger itself had a funky taste to it not sure what that was all about. My dad had the Vera burger & fries, he said it was mediocre at best.   I ordered through Uber Eats and picked up and was told I was given a voucher to off set the cost but there's absolutely nothing with my order! Will not be ordering from here again! The wait time alone was over an hour for frickin pickup! And through Uber eats it said that it was only going to be 15 to 20 minutes and it was well over an hour

Chicken burger was very chewy, disappointing for the costs. The poutine was okay but gravy was very soupy, would be better thicker.

I've heard alot of good things about this chain, so I finally gave it a try.
Admittedly the food might be a bit pricey but the quality is very good. The milkshakes are genuine ice cream, the fries are hand cut and fresh, and the burgers while not massive, are still very rich and have some good flavour.
I will definitely be coming back.

I have had many a burger in my day, from many different places. My search for the best burger may have ended at Vera's Burger Shack. "You can't beat Vera's meat. " No, I dont think you can. Wonderful job!

Delicious, meaty and flavourful cajun beef and buffalo chicken burgers. Excellent fries to go with them.

Vera's at any of the numerous locations are always great burgers. Maybe even the best burgers. Yup, top two or three for sure.
The Pitt Meadows location is no exception and offers convenient parking. Pandemic measures were in place on the day I was last there, and were being followed adequately for my comfort. I look forward to the day I can sit down and nosh while watching a game on the omnipresent big screens.
I thought the onion rings were a little greasy and pricey. I will go back to my usual order of fries next time.

This is not eaten food. This was my Vera order. $60 bought be the smallest soggiest poutine, and 3 of the smallest chicken strips.

Update. Received a call from the manager asking why I gave them a 1 star review. He believed that giving me a free burger for our crummy food earned him a better review.

No gloves! We are in a pandemic so please wear gloves when cooking for other people. Also, very expensive for what it is. The milkshake was awful and the burger not good taste.

Tasty food, friendly service. Definitely one of the better burgers I've ever had, and the fries are absolutely done the right way.

First visit - Burgers are absolutely delicious! Staff are friendly, great place.

Last visit - Ordered 3 burgers with sides, paid (over $50 I might add) and then AFTER paying told it will be 25 minutes for my order! I said that is too long to wait, and was told they cannot do a refund because the manager isn't in.

Would have been nice to know before I paid…

Staff not wearing masks and expensive for what you get would rather go to nice restaurant have good service and real drinks for the price it cost

The food is good here. It’s fairly expensive, but the meat quality is nice. However, we had a poor experience with the staff today. The guy behind the counter was immediately a little aggressive and rushing us through the order process. We asked about a poorly-worded coupon and he was impatient in helping us. After we got our food, one of the buns was soaking wet. We asked him, and he said that it was because we were holding the bag sideways (which has never happened with the countless burgers I’ve eaten throughout my years). Unnecessarily defensive and passive-aggressive. After getting a new burger, half of the toppings were missing. The girl seemed to be working hard but the guy up front ruined the experience.
