Vernon Golf & Country Club

Great course but the play is very slow here. There are a lot of older members who cannot hit the ball more than 30 yards.

Played a twilight round the other day that took almost 5 hours! Staff in the clubhouse were really friendly and held it down nicely. The course itself was well kept. Seemed very Wild West compared to 99% of courses I’ve played once you tee off, no rules or etiquette or anyone to see things go smoothly at all. Two groups ahead of me joined up and took their shoes and some shirts off, smoking up and chillin on teeboxes holding 5 plus parties behind them up, as it got dark, not letting anyone play through. Only reason I’ll go back this season is to post a better score. Not super looking forward to it though.

We had a great day at Vernon Golf & Country Club. The course was in exellent condition and the greens were running fast after all the dry weather. After a hot round of golf where I was pretty happy with my 89 the clubhouse was a very nice and cool spot to enjoy a cold beverage.

Very good condition (March 30). Dry / greens excellent/ very walkable/ excellent staff.

Awesome driving range. Close to down town, well kept, freindly and helpful staff.

Best kept course in town. Accessible, clean, convenient and a gem of the okanagan. Always a must play if in town and will only continue to improve!

I feel it’s very very over priced and as far as taste it’s ok if it was a quarter of the price.
