Great selection of single can beers, not an expansive selection of wine but not bad either. Most of time my interactions with staff has been good but the last time I visited I had an experience with a staff member where they seemed annoyed and quite condescending when I asked questions about their selection. Would have been a 4 or 5 but honestly that interaction is definitely making me consider a different store next time I'm looking to make an alcoholic purchase

Whoever curates their wines knows what he's doing on the whole. It helps that they have very friendly staff too. Recommended!

The selection of beer here is unreal. Renovations opened the space up a lot.

Also lots of gluten free beers and ciders in the coolers!

Amazed at the selection of quality wines and tasty craft beers. Very knowledgeable staff. Easy parking. All around GREAT place.they even have my favorite beer Alexander Keith’s which can be hard to find!

It seems some staff members dont like their job or dont know what. He was blaming co-workers for not doing their job right.really rude and unprofessional staff

This liquor store is right across my house I use to love it, I have been coming for the last 2 years so normally I would leave 4-5 stars. Until yesterday I encountered a horrible experience here. I had picked up my 18 yr old cousin from practice and decided to stop at the liquor store on my way home, when I came inside I was rudely welcomed and seen as suspicious. The clerk told me he had to ID my cousin in the car aside from the fact I was buying liquor from myself. This is not legal or right whatsoever, and obstructs costumers freedoms/privacy, they can’t just assume my passengers will be drinking too. 1. Only people on store property or in the store have to identify themselves. 2. Only police can identify individuals in a vehicle (Only when they’ve committed a crime). First time I have experienced something like this! I took my business to another liquor store where they happily served me and did not harass me or the passengers in my vehicle. Never again will I purchase my liquor from here and I advise others not to either. Very unpleasant staff.

Good selection and good hours but the staff is so so. Having worked in customer service, I know it can be tedious to greet everyone and have a smile on the whole shift, but they could be a bit more friendly. Staff is very removed from customers and will talk to you (barely) when checking out.

I would usually rate this liquor store 5 stars, so I feel uncomfortable giving this rating. But my partner and I showed up with backpacks. We have no problem leaving our backpacks at the front of the store if asked. But I live in the neighborhood and our household spends around at a low estimate around $100 a week at this liquor store and I always tip between $2-$5 per purchase. Tonight we changed our mind to buying four tall cans vs an 8 pack (because it was cost effective, easy, and Parallel Brewing is great!). We were met at the counter with questionable energy. And just made the experience really down right unpleasant. We were questioned if we had the four other tall cans still and if we had put the other four cans back. Which is fine if the tone of the conversation wasn't so rude. I'm an Indigenous woman and my partner a long haired skateboarder. Which I've never felt issue before, but if you're going to be suspicious please ask for our bags before we enter the store as it wasn't very busy. This transaction happened on Indigenous Peoples Day 2021 and I'm quite disappointed with the service and approach I was given. I hopefully won't encounter this situation again, but I'm really disheartened and disappointed because this is previously one of my favourite spaces to support due to their convenience and wonderful selection of local products. ANY establishment in this city should be without customers leaving feeling any form of prejudice and should probably hold their employees accountable to the amount of tact and responsibility they approach customers.

Good selection of beer, wine & spirits. Always well stocked. Convenient hours, Friendly staff. Prices appear to be slightly higher than the Government liquor stores.

Thier cash back rewards don't really amount to much, unless you drink like a fish. For most people, it will amount to a six pack at the end of a year if you buy all your liquor there. That's way more than anyone else is offering. The selection is fantastic too

Wow. Is there anything (good) they don't have? To employ a much overused expression, this store offers a carefully "curated" selection of wines and beers. You'll find vastly better options than in a BCLC. And the prices are fair.

Best selection of unusual craft beers and an interesting selection of wines. They give a 10% discount on wine when you buy 12 (they can all be different). Oh, and treats for your dog.

I make the same, classic mistake everytime: arrive sober and then proceed to get drunk off of decision paralysis. Great selection of spirits!

One of the best liquor store in town, lots of local and regional gems to discover there. One star missing because the advice for a cocktail mix I got made perfect sense in theory, just in practice that specific pairing I was suggested was unanimously disastrous.

A small locally owned liquor store with an amazing selection of wine, beer and hard liquor. Good selection of VQA and Island wines. Great singles beer selection. As good as the BC liquor store on Fort, but cozier and more intimate. Friendly staff.

I always count on Vessel for my hard to find items. They have a few Grappas and other eaux de vie. I wanted to make a white Negroni and Vessel was the only place I could find that carries Suze. Excellent wine selection and knowledgeable staff. My fav store around Victoria.

The hippest and most eclectic liquor store in Victoria. A huge selection of craft beer, ciders, spirits and wine can be found here, including an entire aisle filled wall-to-wall with BC wine. All the staff wear leather aprons, showing that the store is all about quality even before you see the large selection and quality that Vessel has to offer. If you love beer and wine, you have to visit this store.

Great store for beer. Huge selection of beer from a lot of craft breweries. Their is a large selection of wine, but no dry/sweetness scale, so better know what you are looking for when you go in.
