Veterans Memorial Park

I go here for the playground primerely.
The lack of lighting attracts unwanted individuals whom come to the place for the wrong reasons. Please @City of Langford.let there be LIGHT

Also it gets dark at 4: 30. Where should we take the kids to play?

This is a well maintained park that makes great use of the available space. I was surprised how empty the park was. Would expect more people to take advantage of it.

Lovely park, has a play ground for young kids. Fountains and Saturday day Market during the summer.

Took my granddaughter today. A bit dissapointed. Not all vendors were open. Playground was closed. Plus there was no music. The vendors there were very pleasant to deal with.

While the park is small and noisey due to the parkway next to it. The park itself is kept clean and organized. There are plans to make the park large which is fantastic to hear.

Nice little park, seems to be well used. With a swing set and slide, Ball Court, waterpark and Plenty of grass, if you have small ones this park is a gem. Not too far from something to eat and a Convenience store at the intersection. Looks like Plenty of shade. Nice park to walk the Dog

A simple, convenient place to meet friends for a walk or a run, or to share some quiet moments on your own.

Green Space. Families gather, play and explore. Fitness instructors keep you accountable, dogs play fetch, folks reading enjoying the sun/shade

It is a nice and beautiful park to cool off from the heat. We need more park like that one and more trees. Thanks.

Lovely place to rest, breathe just take it easy. Place to reflect on the meaning of how so many gave their lives during wars to give us the freedom we cherish.

Just moved to the island so I'm not too sure what else is around here. Saw the lights during the evening, thought they looked beautiful the way they accented the monument in the middle of the parkette. There is a gazebo and small playground off to the side area along with statues on benches. If you are here for your first time at night be prepared to jump a bit they actually freaked me out twice in one night

The play structure is small but the kids enjoyed it. There's also great winding paths in the bushes and hockey nets in the parking lot, so we were there for a few hours

A beautiful place to sit and enjoy fresh air and socially distanced visits. Kids enjoy the playground. Traffic can be noisy.

Great local park. Has a water park area which is definitely appreciated during the warm summer months. Hosts a number of community events, farmers markets, and Remembrance day.

An awesome memorial park, with kids playground, washrooms. During the Summer there is a market.

Beautiful park with good play area for the kids plus a relaxing spot to enjoy the fountains. Summers have weekend events/markets. Check it out!

Great park for the little guys and we love the soft ground. Water park is awesome for the summer. It is next to the Parkway which can be noisy with traffic and sirens, and you have to watch them closely when they go to that end of the park. But it's a big enough park and there are a lot trees lining that side.

Great little park with almost everything one needs for kids. Has water park, playground and wifi.

If they had a little bit more for kids to play on it would be perfect.

There is a small park, a water park, basketball hoop, only one tho. Bathrooms and many places to sit and relax.

Great for augmented reality gamers with kids as there is a splash park there and portals / stops / wizarding Innes galore.

Very large. Has a spray pad and playground, swings, gazebo, fountains, basketball court, and loads of pokestops!

Nice little park with statue and fountain and beautiful white Christmas lights in the trees, a gazebo and a playground with a cool climbing wall and kids mink water park thing. Small park, so not much of a walk but pretty and good spot to hang out on a nice day/evening

Stopped to check out the Saturday market and enjoyed our stroll through the park. Vendors were very welcoming and easy to talk to!

This park is great for those with kids, wonderful water-park right beside it, and on Saturdays there's an amazing farmers market with all kinds of tasty and cool vendors, Bonus!

A great park with a playground, waterpark, Saturday market and other events. Could really use more bathrooms and a fence.

This park is perfect for a hot weekday afternoon. There's lots of shady trees for parents to sit watch watch their little ones enjoy the waterpark and playground. After mine gets all dried off and changed she loves to go for a swing then jump on the bouncy stars ends our visit.

Nice park with children's playground, water park, and basketball hoop. The market in the summer time is fun as well.

Kids always like going to this park, they enjoy the spray park and the playground portion. The market was on yesterday and seemed quite busy. Only complaint I have is that they close the washrooms in the winter months.
