I am sure the dentists here are great, given the reviews.
I will not get to experience that because of the way their reception and their office manager conduct themselves.
Phoned in in a bit of a urgency, as my daughter had broke off half of her tooth, the way the receptionist handled that entire phone call makes me feel like she shouldn't be working in health care. No empathy of any sorts, no attempt to help. When the office manager called me back, and i said i really didn't like how the phone call was handled, the office manager said she 'will not be going down that road. ' She then proceeded to tell me that she IS in fact being empathetic by 'allowing me to speak. ' Sorry but no. Just no. Get better office staff that cares about your patients.

Rachel is simply the best of the best hygienists. I appreciate her skill and her caring concern.

The dental hygienist who did my cleaning was amazing! My teeth feel and look awesome. She was gentle and thorough.

Dr Tranter has been my dentist for 25years + him his team are very professional. Always a pain free visit. He takes his time to explain things thoroughly about what i need to have done and why.

My family (me & my kids) loves this dental clinic. The hygienists are amazing (I won’t drop names:) in terms of people skills & thoroughness in cleaning & polishing. They’re well educated, experienced, intuitive & super patient. You come out feeling really well:) with white teeth. (I’ve been coming to this clinic for many years). The front desk people are awesome in the way they greet people & exchange kind words. The office is clean & welcoming.
I love the dentists! I like the way that Dr. Tranter is just so down to earth, humorous & well.not scary:). Oh gosh, here I go trying to remember my kids’ dentist’s name. Dr. G? I loved when I told him my kid’s tooth was growing in crooked (out of the side of her gum?) & he immediately knew what was happening (thank you for not missing that day of dentist school Dr. G:) He, upon examining her face, explained it wouldn’t rectify itself, that it would take 2 minutes to pull out, and I knew it had to be done. I agreed to have her tooth pulled. My “baby’s” mouth healed quickly, as the amazing, experienced front desk lady said it would!
These guys are top of the line in terms of people skills & explaining every last detail to you. Don’t be afraid to ask if you have any questions.

Vic West (Dr. Bruce Tranter and his crew) has been my dentist for more than 20 years. They are welcoming, courteous and professional.

Love my hygienist at VW Dentistry they do the best job, are super caring and are thorough!

Prompt and professional service. My least favourite part is always the needle to freeze my mouth but Michael is admirably gentle in that regard.

I have been a patient here for a few years now. I feel very comfortable at this dental office. Dr. Tranter performed my wisdom teeth removal and he made me feel very comfortable, it was a very successful extraction. They are very open and honest with pros and cons of everything which I respect. I just wanted to comment on my hygienist today Melissa. She was so incredibly gentle and skilled with her tools. Really friendly staff. They sorted my insurance for me right than and there. They do direct billing. Very helpful staff. I had no anxiety during my cleaning and check up. Dental hygienist explained everything as she went. Very happy with my move to this new dentist. ALSO easy access to parking. No hassle at all.

Excellent dental office! Warm courteous receptionist, very organized staff. Dentist prompt, no wait time. I had three fillings done and the whole experience was pleasant. - really! I was very impressed with how skilled the dentist and hygienist were and how efficiently they worked. I feel very fortunate to have found such a wonderful dental team!

I dread going to the dentist.

As always, my visit to the clinic was very good. Emily was super gentle and efficient with the clean up and Dr. Kotelko very thorough with the regular check-up. Very happy to be coming to the clinic for almost 6 years now.

The girl who did cleaning was great. Very disappointed to be told I can't book anymore appointments for cleanings with out going through a procedure I don't need or want as I am very fearful of dentists and after having 5 appointments at this office I am not considered a patient and can not book my next cleaning appointment. Leaving me going somewhere else

Dr. Tranter and his team of hard working, dedicated and caring professionals have looked after my teeth for the past 5+ years. This dental clinic is the best I have ever found for the complex dental work that I have required. I trust them. Everyone, from the receptionists to the hygienists, to the assistants, and of course, Dr. Tranter himself, are superb at what they do. They are top notch and I highly recommend them to anyone who needs implants. I recently had a root canal done for a top wisdom tooth, which I’m happy to say, went very smoothly. Mission Save Tooth accomplished! My smile has never felt better. Thank you!

Honestly a great dental clinic! Everyone of the staff members from the receptionists, to the hygienists to the actual dentist himself have been very kind and knowledgeable. I really got the sense that they cared about their patients and wanted to help. I would highly recommend Vic West Dentistry to anyone looking for a dentist in the Victoria area. I'm very thankful that I chose this dental office after years of trying to find one I like.

Dr. Erin and all staff are very welcoming and honest about what I need to work on. At my last dentist, I was told 3-4 teeth might need root canal and was referred to the specialist. They were all talking about money. I am very happy I switched my dentist and I start becoming more and more comfortable to visit the dentist. Thank you:)

5-star rating! I've been going to this office for at least 10 years. I find the staff are always very pleasant and professional. They volunteer a lot of information about my dental health, and are very good at answering any questions I have. So much better than some other dentists I've visited in the past.
