Jubilee ER arranged my first visit with Victoria Eyecare and I received great care from Dr Duimering and her team of staff. I received 3 different tests and all were performed with clear, precise instructions. Dr Duimering and her team proved that one can be professional and compassionate, at the same time.

Had a vision test at Victoria Eye yesterday. 30-min wait was fine. Technician initially gave unclear instructions, left me alone in a dark room. Discovered better positioning on my own. Tech returned, acknowledged errors, mentioned handling three patients simultaneously. Told me most of her patients come in every four months, so know the process. Not a fan of this approach Previous years were one-on-one, more attentive. One star for yesterday's experience. Tech redeemed it by using a "better machine" and redoing the test. I was not impressed at all with the experience

I had cataract work done and everyone was so professional, helpful and beyond kind. They basically held my hand every step (not literally but you get it). I highly recommend.

Victoria Eye is being incredibly frustrating for me.
First of all, the waiting time to speak to them over the phone is incredibly long. I am happy to wait on the phone, if only the call can be helpful eventually, but it never is.
When I finally speak to someone, they inform me I need a referral to book a Lasik appointment. I do that immediately and have the referral faxed as requested.
Long story short, 42 days have passed as of today, and I have not heard a word from the clinic.
I try to call them (spending half a day for this) but every time they explain they "have not gotten to my referral yet". They cannot even confirm they have received it.
I have emailed them multiple times and received no answer whatsoever.
I truly do not understand how is this possible.

UPDATE:
When they finally got back to me and I went in for my consultation, everything went very well. They were nice and professional, the visit was thorough, and lasted a bit less than 2 hours. Didn’t have to wait too long. I am satisfied with the visit.

Four weeks ago Dr Heston performed cataract surgery on my left eye. Three days ago he did my right. Last night I saw the Andromeda Galaxy with my naked eyes for the first time in thirty three years. I think that's pretty cool

You cannot get through them via phone, very bad service. Went twice and they did tests I did not need.

I have glaucoma. I found out in a casual visit to an eye dr 20 years ago. So I go here, get tested regularly, do what I am told, eye drops twice daily, and my vision is great.
I was told the leading cause of blindness after diagnosis was people failing to use the eye drops. Duhh, it’s dead simple, use drops and see. Don’t and go blind.
So yes I like this place, friendly staff, prompt attention and competent Drs

Wait until MSP finds out you are ripping them/taxpayers off by overbilling for visits and consults that didn’t even happen. Currently filing a formal complaint.

First they wanted me to come in for the same exams that the optometrist had already performed. Then I sat for 20 minutes past my appointment time in a waiting room filled with people who had been waiting far longer. After 20 minutes I asked how much longer I would have to wait. "20-40 minutes, " I was told. "Is it always like this, " I asked. "Yes. " So I cancelled my appointment and left. This place is a racket to be avoided.

With an appointment I still hade to wait over an hour each time. After you finally able to get the scans the let you sit around for an hour or more until you finally can meet the doctor. Very Bad organized! But friendly staff.

They don't give a hoot about your time. It's common to wait an hour or more past your scheduled time. It's a factory and you are just a piece of meat.

I wasn't upset about wait times as they took me in very quickly I was sent there on an need to see basis by my doctor (shingles in my right eye)
After a lengthy exam
I left and before I got to the top of the hill my left eye began stinging and watering so badly that I couldn't drive.
I put up with the pain for a few hours until I could not take it any more. I went to Emerg where I was told that my eyeball was very badly scratched so antibiotic and eyepatch for me.
Thd attending doctor even stated that you aren't meant to come out of an eye exam worse than you went in.
The worse part is no follow up from the doctor that did the exam. I won't go back that's for sure.next time I could be blind

Communication is the problem at this location. I am upset before I am actually in. The lady at the counter says I'll need a driver and the Dr.actually doing the surgery said I don't, it is a quick and easy surgery and I will be done in 1/2 an hour, Waite 5 minutes and you should be ok! I get a phone call the day after the conversation a lady calls a says it will be at least 1 1/2 hours and now I need a driver. WHICH IS IT? NO NOT RIGHT. I Ok 'd an appointment for 7: 45 am, thinking its ok cause its only me that will have to get up at 6am, cause I live at least 1 hour away and rush hour ##@@%, but now I will have to get my wife or Son to wake up that early? Which is it +

If you decide to use this private clinic, be aware that they charge you the credit card merchant fee. Use a debit card and ensure your debit card has a high enough limit so that you avoid paying this ridiculous fee (in my case $88). I had my daily debit card limit increased an hour later but the front desk staff would not cancel the credit card transaction.

Oct 27,2022 I am so disappointed with waiting today.surgery went well with both eyes but this place honestly ripped me apart with so much disappointment on how we were all treated with waiting times like we arent worth a minute.so many people were waiting without being seen for over 1.5 hrs and a lot more and some leaving because hey they have a life so yess I lost it feeling so many sad and frustrating faces today and walked out.something needs to change.not just today with excuses and apologies with being short staffed but overall. I heard and talked and seen so much disappointment today I really felt their angst and had to leave.sorry and hope you will improve how you treat your patients like re-scheduling appts: (

This place is an absolute joke. I booked an appointment and sat waiting with 30 people since they were almost 2 hours behind schedule. Seems like a cash grab.

I wish I could give this clinic a negative rating. I sat in their waiting room for 90 minutes past my appointment time. I finally went up to the desk to ask how much longer and based on the girl’s reaction, they had no idea what was going on. Afterwards other patients told me they are always behind. One guy said he once sat for 2 hours only to be told they were closed and turned off the lights on him. I don’t get how a clinic like this can function. Avoid at all cost.
