Victoria Nail + Spa

I have been here on a number of occasions and have never had a particularly bad experience. The staff have always been friendly and I have always been happy with the results of my mani or pedi. I think they overbook themselves a bit sometimes given some of the wait times, even with an appointment, but still hasn’t been so bad I couldn’t look past that.
I went in for a gel fill 4 days ago, though, and the girl doing my nails, who I’d never had before, took two hours to do the fill, but worse than that, she was so rough with the nail drill/grinder that she ripped up a bunch of skin around my nails, the worst of which is pictured. Even when it drew blood she didn’t say anything, just dropped some antiseptic straight into it (ouch!) and didn’t treat my hands any more carefully. I didn’t learn her name but there was a label that said “Tiffany” on top of her UV light. Other than being not careful/gentle enough, she was very nice and did a good job with the polish.
I didn’t say anything at the time because it was already done and it didn’t look as bad as it does now. It wasn’t until shortly after I left that it really started to throb, and now I’m a bit concerned it’s infected.
I will still probably go back but likely not to the same nail tech.

I went there twice, the fist time was for a refill and the second for a fresh whole set. The refill was quite painful under the UV light as the technician filed down my natural nail too thin. I went back in the hope of a better performance. Then my whole gel set started to peeling off in 2 weeks! I only have 3 nails that are still ok and the rest gel nail had all chipped and started to decay. There were air bubbles and water got trapped under the gel nails.

I absolutely love this nail salon! They did an incredible Gel Overlay. It lasts 3-4 weeks! Super strong. Quality is great. And the products are organic. Good price too for how long the polish lasts! I don’t get a full manicure, just a colour change.

Okay so WOW. The absolute best experience I have had probably ever. They are fast, but very careful. Ruby did my nails and she was such a perfectionist (I thought I was a perfectionist until she did my nails), that she kept fixing things I didn’t even see until she pointed it out and now my nails are beautiful! I wish I lived here, actually feeling a loss that I don’t live here.

Have seen Ruby and Jasmin the last couple times and they're both so sweet and professional, loved my experience here.

Paid $160 for mani and pedi that only lasted a week. Initially I picked an Ugly Duckling polished Ruby came back with an Opi claiming it was the same shade but it was easier to apply on. Now thinking back I think the Opi was drying out and she wanted to get rid of it that’s why she offered me the Opi. Sorry ladies won’t be going back!

I had my lashes done by Lavender, and she did such an amazing job. I got volume and they’re so full and fluffy! Happy to say I found my new lash tech:)

My friend and I were looking to get our nails done last Saturday, so we called Victoria Nail + Spa for an appointment. The appointment was immediately booked, and we were greeted with kindness and given nail colours to choose from. The staff was friendly and eager to create an intricate design despite our appointment pushing past their closing time. They did not rush us out and ensured we left with beautiful nails. I would recommend anyone in the Victoria area or anyone visiting to book an appointment; you will not be disappointed! Thank you again for your time, and the gorgeous nails.

Natural manicure plus the Firewalker pedicure is worth the indulgence and the level of care at this establishment is out of this world. I had a few of their staff looking after me and their reflexology skills are phenomenal. This is place has been my go-to nail salon for very special occasions.

There are times that I would have only the manicure done but they have no problems with doing custom nail art requests and getting them spot on with logo branding color template for special events. Nothing shows spirit colors better than your own hands.

My go to favourite nail salon in Victoria. Best pedicures Iv gotten in Victoria. Lavender and her sister put a lot of attention and detail in their work! HIGHLY recommend

I actually haven’t gotten my pedicure yet I’m sure it will be amazing but I felt like I had to write a review because of the ambiance- chill lofi music which is so nice and I’m watching two other clients get long massages - one is getting their hands and shoulders done and the client had her nails done! Then this other client is receiving what I’m assuming to be a pedicure but she’s so relaxed and enjoying her leg and foot massage and it’s so nice to see people really taking a moment close their eyes, breathe, and just relax for a few minutes. The people who work here obviously take good care of their clients.

The staff were accommodating to me and my mother despite not having an appointment and they provided a thorough and beautiful pedicure!

I have a severe latex allergy and I appreciate that Victoria nails is a latex free environment! Most nail salons are not latex free so this a 5 star for me.
The services are amazing, the staff are wonderful to chat with and great at what they do! Recommend coming here

I’ve been searching for a nail tech in Victoria and Lavender was absolutely amazing. Polite, charming, and great at what she does.
There was a tiny bit of a wait, which I didn’t mid at all, knowing how good these techs are.

I lived in Victoria over the summer and was so lucky to find this salon and get my nails done by Ruby. She is the kindest and most talented nail tech I have ever had and I’ve been getting my nails done for years. My builder gel sets regularly lasted up to a month with no lifting or chipping and my nails have never been longer. I just got back to my hometown and I am missing the quality work I had done at this salon. Cannot recommend Victoria Nail + Spa and Ruby enough!

If you don’t care about cleanliness, quality or efficiency, than this is the salon for you! They’re especially good at making you cringe with poor time management and heavily used/stained towels and not cleaning the chairs well between clients! Bonus points for making sure the customers are forced to listen to the staff ask very intimate medical health questions! Go somewhere else! Trust me!

I’ve gone to them twice now and both times they have been friendly, professional, and always willing to help me make the best choice for my nails my last polish lasted me a month and a half!

This place is great. The staff are very friendly and helpful, and my nail tech was very gentle. I wanted a design recreated and I am extremely pleased with her work! The shape and length are perfect and the design is super cute. I would recommend and go again.:)

I got my nails done here and they were amazing! Anna did such a good job and I was extremely impressed. I have been getting my nails done for years and I definitely think that she is one of the top nail techs that I have ever been to. I highly recommend getting your nails done here.

I tried this salon today after being dissatisfied with my local one. Ruby and Anna were amazing! They made me feel comfortable and relaxed, did a very good job, and were excellent communicators. They were constantly checking to make sure I was happy and well looked after. I also really loved that the salon was calm and quiet, no loud music. A lovely ambience and a great experience. I will definitely be back!

I visited the salon on May 20th for a gel polish and a regular pedicure. I believe the person who was doing my nails was in training. I had to remind her several times to turn on the gel light and I don't think she did a great job prepping my nails for the polish since everything started chipping a week in (see attached photos for the difference between the first day and 7 days in).

I've been to this place one time before and my nails were fine so I would just recommend that the business provides proper training to their staff or make sure fresh polish is used (not sure why everything started chipping).

The pedicure was good it just wasn't relaxing. I felt like the male who did my toes rushed through the whole process.

Giving this place a 3 because the one other time I came in to get gel toe polish, it was nice.

I use to do nails and was tired of doing my own nails so I decided to treat myself to getting my nails done. I was nervous having someone else do it, but oh my god I could not be more happy with how they turned out! Ruby was fast, the shape is beautiful, and the design was flawless! 10/10 will be coming back and I highly recommend getting your nails done here!

I went to get a sculpted nail extension gel polish done yesterday and was amazed at the skill and practicality of the place. I had originally booked for another date accidentally but the owner? Did not seem upset at all and accommodated to my schedule. Staff are very skilled, quick, and kind. If you are looking for reasonable, flexible, highly professional and great quality service, this is the place to go in Victoria. Highly recommend!

I was blown away by the fantastic service at Victoria Nail + Spa! My friends and I didn't have an appointment but they were able to accommodate the three of us after a short wait. Despite having a full shop, everyone was super friendly and patient.

My nail tech gave me all kinds of handy nail care tips to help me prevent hangnails and keep my hands and nails healthy. Even though my nails were already very short she managed to shape them really nicely and consistently and didn't jab me even a SINGLE time while cleaning them (which I'm sure was a challenge given my very short nails). She asked me lots of questions throughout the process to understand the shape I preferred and to ensure I was happy with her work.

This is the best manicure I've had in a loooong time, and I will definitely be back.

Every appointment I make, my girl (Lavender) is late! She makes the appointment with me, then shows up 15 minutes late Everytime! The girls that welcome me when I walk in are super rude. I've been there 4 times and they are never friendly or welcoming.

I love this nail salon! I’ve been coming for a few years now, they are always clean, on time and welcoming. I had issues with a toe nail and Chantal was super knowledgeable about how to fix it and made it look beautiful. Highly recommend.

What can I say? I was looking for a nail tech for awhile and just read reviews, this little salon stood out to me because of the great reviews! Well they did not disappoint!

I walked in and was greeted by Stella and we instantly connected and had some fun talk And giggles. She is very professional and did an absolutely amazing job, I was SO HAPPY! So I went back for a fill a few weeks later and changed my shape and they were absolutely STUNNING!

They were unfortunately under staffed today, but these amazing ladies still managed to provide excellent service to every appointment with minimal wait times. The added nail and skin care tips were much appreciated, and the fact that they didn't rush our pedis even though they were busy and short staffed speaks volumes to how well they treat their customers and value their standards and services they provide. My husband and I had appointments for pedicures and we loved our experience here! Staff was very friendly and personable. We had Chantal and Stella - both were amazing. I have a discoloured and broken toenail from an injury years ago that never fully healed. The foot and nail care advice from Chantal was so helpful. My half toenail has never looked better. I received the best advice on how to care for my nail and allow it to heal. So excited for it finally look normal! Loved the teamwork and knowledge from all staff. This is no ordinary nail salon. Highly recommend. Will definitely be back when I visit the island again!

My last nail experience (albeit almost 10 years ago) was so brutal I swore I’d never get fake nails again. But then I met Ruby. Not only is she absolutely METICULOUS but the prices are so wildly competitive I cant imagine ever going anywhere else. If you’re looking for somewhere to get your nails done, look no further.

They did not give me at all what i asked for and when i asked about it, they just have the excuse that “it was all they had” definitely will not be coming back and next time will go to a nail place that gives me what i ask for.

I decided schedule an appointment after reading all the amazing reviews. Everyone is right! The staff is so nice! Very chatty, personable and polite. I had a deluxe pedicure and it was honestly the most amazing pedicure I've ever had. They massaged my legs and feet then used hot stones to massage again.and the paraffin wax on my feet. HEAVEN! The prices are insanely reasonable and the service is first class. They have a very large selection of colours for both regular and gel polish. The hot stone massage gives that extra relaxing magic and such a unique touch to the traditional pedicure.

Fantastic first experience. Exceptional pedicure at an amazing price. I'll be back! Also the employee who specializes in senior/medical pedicures seems like a super sweet gem! I went in there on a fluke to see if they could get me in and lavender was very accommodating she got me in right away and as always been so good about getting me in an accommodating me IT professional with her work it has a good atmosphere Lavender is always willing to go over and above to help her clients reach the satisfaction they want. I love this place I won't go anywhere else to get my nails or my lashes done now I would have to say I haven't tried anyone else though because I'm comfortable with only lavender her customer service is great her attitude is great and her work and she's willing to do whatever you ask her to do but we'll give her feedback if you think it's going to look ridiculous thankfully she's save me a few times haha

Staff were incredibly friendly! The pedicure was so relaxing I almost fell asleep. They had some unique touches I haven’t experienced at other salons including a hot stone massage in the basic pedicure. I would definitely come back!

I was so happy to find this salon after several poor experiences in other nail salons in Victoria. Lavender is amazing! My nails look fantastic, are strong and last well without chipping and grow out very well. Highly recommended for excellent service, friendly staff and reasonable prices. Well worth checking out!

Omg I’m so in love with my nails! Last min plan with my friend to get mani pedis and this was such a great choice. We had so much fun, the massages were outstanding, and our nails look amazing!
We were shown glow in the dark nail polish, and I have zero plans to spend any time not in the dark now. Except to recharge and ogle the sparkles on my other nails.

This has got to be "THE" place to go in Victoria! Trust me on this one, people!
My wife & I have been going to this spa at least monthly ever since Lavender opened her business.
We live in Duncan and gladly make the hour long drive to and from Victoria just to get to Victoria Nail & Spa to use their services. (And.its not like Duncan doesn't have any Nail Spas!)
They stock a great selection of polishes and speciality care products to take care of their clients needs.
I had some skin condition problems with my feet and they suggested I use some of the "Footlogix" topical foot-care products that they stock. I'm happy to be able to say that I'm now the proud owner of a couple of pretty great looking feet! I had fought against these skin problems for several years and its great that this has now "Finally" got cleared up.
Lavender, Ruby & Chantal (AKA"The Foot Ferry") are all simply "AWSOME" at what they do and go above and beyond to look after their clients!
This evening for instance, we got away late from Duncan because we were late getting out of a Veterinarian appointment. We weren't able to get there until 5: 15 and even though they officially close at 7: 00 PM, they actually stayed there until 8: 30 to finish both of our Mani-Pedi's!
Such Great Service! What business's do this sort of thing for people these days! These people do! That's who!

That was the BEST nail experience of my life. The women were so lovely, we got glow in the dark nails (amazing quality) and i’ve never felt more fabulous. What a great experience. The girls who work here really care about what they do and it shows. I have been coming here for almost four years and I am always happy. The gel polish lasts longer than any where els I have been. They don’t use smelly products so I can breath easy. They helped me clear up my foot and toenail fungus and did not make me feel weird or embarrassed by it. They give really good foot massages also. I strongly recommend you try this place.
