Audra was actually a random selection off Google and boy we lucked out. This spring, we moved from Toronto to Victoria and even with the time difference, we always felt like we were cared for. I came into town for a week in April to find a perfect place in a whirlwind, and we did!

Throughout the entire process, she was always available to answer questions. When we found a home that we loved she checked EVERY SINGLE nook and cranny and sent plenty of supporting documentation to help us make sure this was the correct decision. She stayed on the phone with my husband while we scrutinized over the details of our this purchase. We never felt like she wanted us to buy quickly, but rather that she wanted us to buy the right place.

She was super knowledgeable and when she didn’t know the answer to something, she found it so fast! Her approach to our slightly complicated offer was very smart and really put her experience level on display.

Once we purchased our home she stayed in touch until closing to update us on things or just check in. She even alerted us about other clients selling furniture since we got rid of so much on our move. I NEVER felt abandoned by Audra. I’ve felt this with other realtors after the sale is made.

I was so impressed during this entire process. She even did our inspections for us since we wouldn’t make it to town for closing. She then met us on closing day with our keys and our friends to greet us after a long drive.

Then we got a congratulatory gift basket… You could tell it wasn’t random. She listened the whole time while we looked at houses… It was a gift basket that was geared towards our whole family. Plus included neighbourhood specific things.

We can't speak highly enough of our experience with Hal and Audra, they were friendly and helpful from the start. Our house purchase was incredibly complicated, requiring us to change lawyers half way through. Hal's background in law proved to be invaluable. He was often one step ahead, anticipating potential pitfalls. He was always available, even on his days off, answering the smallest of concerns, without judgement. Audra and Hal are a wonderful team. Audra Poole and Hal Decker were invaluable in helping us find a great condo in Victoria. We were moving from the east coast and I had a very limited time in Victoria to make a decision. My wife and I bought a house in Victoria a couple of years ago with Hal's assistance. We had had a less than satisfactory experience with another agent before Hal was recommended by a friend of a relative. From the moment we were introduced, we understood how different the experience would be.

First, he quickly understood our requirements, budgetary and otherwise, and appreciated that we were coming from overseas when coming to look at properties. The couple of visits we required before closing a deal were well structured and highly efficient. Hal was always well prepared and always providing objective assessments, good and bad, of the property.

Second, because of his legal background, Hal was also able to provide a more in-depth perspective on the properties we visited. For instance, part of the property we ended up buying was designated "Environmental Development Protection Area (aka EDPA) - a complex local municipal rule related to the environment). Hal was able to explain in simple terms the rules and conditions attached to the designation. Other questions we had were always answered by in-depth responses

Third, Hal proved our true advocate throughout the process. He provided advice, and then left it to us to decide on the final negotiation strategy. Once decided, he presented it to the other side strongly, irrespective of how we had dealt with his advice. Ultimately, we ended up with a fabulous property at the price we wanted it.

Audra comes later in the picture. Since our purchase, we have remained friends with Hal (that's how good he is!) and have met Audra through him. Having socialized with them many times by now, we can see how Audra has brought enthusiasm and marketing savvy to Hal's fantastic expertise. If you are looking for a property agent, we have no reservations whatsoever in recommending Hal and Audra.
