Booked an airport pickup for 5: 45am
5: 28: received text that taxi is on the way
5: 55: no taxi, called dispatcher and told that they’re still looking for a driver. Cancelled pickup and drove ourselves

This guy crossed 3 lanes and a double yellow line and flipped us off when we honked so he didn’t hit us. Drives with headphones in too. Don’t get in this cab.

Waited at St. Anthony's clinic for over an hour watching their drivers ditch me for pick-ups at hotel next door. Dispatcher kept reassuring me on the way 3 to 6 min. Do not deal with these people if you want good service. Go Uber.

Needed to get somewhere quickly so I pre-booked a cab with plenty of notice. Said the cab was 5 mins away, so waited 20+ mins for it and eventually had to cancel. Completely screwed up my day.

Worst cab company, in my opinion, on the planet. Won’t get into it but I see why the cab companies in Victoria are opposed to Uber. Absolutely appalling.

We disembarked at the port and we’re in a line waiting for cabs this driver refused to take us to our hotel saying he couldn’t access the area dumped our bags by the roadside and left us to haul them about 500m when we walked up to The Fairmont there were several cabs there he just wanted to rush back to the port for another ride. Disgusting service advised hotel and will advise cruise line.

Had to take a young kitten to the vet. Driver was on time, very personable, let me choose my route and drove quickly but safely. The taxi itself was clean and I had no problems with the POS. And it was cheaper than an Uber!

Wanted a can from Hillside, they said sure no problems. Had me waiting 25 minutes, called them again, they said the driver will be there in 3-4 minutes. I waited another 10 mins, called them again, they said a driver is just dropping someone off, I waited another 10 minutes, called back and they wouldn’t answer the phone. Do not use Victoria Taxi…they are a joke. If I could give 0 stars I would.

The drivers are excellent. The rates are average compared to other taxi services in Victoria. The cabs are very clean, in very good condition and are eco-friendly.
The problem is with their automated telephone booking system! It is terrible. It is very frustrating because it NEVER hears the correct address and it takes a long time to get to an actual person to be able to book a pickup. If this was fixed, their rating would be 5 star all the way!

I try to use the taxi service occasionally, after a late night. I have found that the drivers are fine, but the dispatchers are not. A few times where I have booked a taxi for a time they promised, only for them to blame me when they show up 20 minutes earlier than they said. Basically the company is not good, and their drivers should work somewhere else/better

Called, when giving address to someone who doesn't speak ebflish, they hung up on me. Rude.

They showed up within 10 min of my call. And very polite and professional. Our driver didn't "milk" our cab fare. Thumbs up:)

Excellent service, always on time, very respect and professional drivers. Recommend this company.

There are so many ways they can improve.
Still the service is good. Perhaps just observe cleanliness.

Yes called at 0400 they said they were on their way. Noso so I stood out in the cold hot a headache. They were on their way not had to call in cause I had a migraine. No I won't use them

I understand that getting a cab takes time, but picking up the phone after 22 minutes is a bit much.

Not specifically Victoria taxi.
But Victoria BC transportation is the worst. Ended up waiting for a cab for over an hour. Once I got a cab I asked something along the lines of "must be a busy night". The response I got was - "its been pretty slow tonight for everyone".
I'm not surprised people drink and drive in Victoria crashing into power lines knocking out power for thousands of people. Just saying. All cab companies needs people who actually take accountability for terrible rides, not showing up, passing on rides if it's a shorter ride on their apps. Etc etc etc. It goes on and on.
I'm not just knocking on Victoria taxi, its every taxi company in Victoria. I just happened to use this specific company on my last visit. It was a harsh reminder Victoria needs a better source of transportation.

I was at my Graduation reunion and my friend needed a taxi home. I called Victoria taxi and told the dispatcher that I wanted to order a taxi for my friend. She asked why my friend couldn't order one herself. I said that she hs had a lot of wine and can't talk. Then she said that they wouldn't come get because she can't talk. I then tried to explain that she had severe hiccups and would she like to talk to her. The dispatcher wouldn't even listen to what I had to say. She said "No. We won't come get her. " Then hung upon me.
I'm so disgusted in this company. This is why other cities use UBER.

Not all drivers are bad but man the customer service is atrocious. They'll just hang up on you if you have a question: (

Cheap service, i book taxi and they come and took other passengers, i told taxi guy (155) its my taxi he said u wait for another the one these passengers book otherwise in 2 mins i come back and see if you here i take you, no taxi come for 30 mins even he didn’t show me. I waited in scorching sun.i wish i have option of uber or any service

I’ve had multiple people in the past choose my booked taxi, then cancel it, on different occasions. Why have a booking service if they don’t uphold it? Lousy service.

Lovely driver in cab #17 today, got me to work quickly and made good conversation. Arrived very quickly as well.

Terrible. The guy tried to take me on a milk run in the opposite direction from where I asked to go. When I said we were going in the wrong direction he fumbled, got aggressive and started telling a sad story about his expensive cab lease and revenue properties that were losing money. Will never take a green coloured cab again.

I phoned Victoria taxi because their website says they do deliveries. The person I spoke to refused to give me any information on what their guidelines are. He simply said, "We pass. " I asked him why and he told me it doesn't matter. I said it does matter because he was declining to perform a service the company claims to offer. I asked him what their criteria was. He repeated his mantra, "We pass. " I asked if there was someone else I could speak to. He said he was it. After saying we pass to every question I asked he said good bye. He was the most unpleasant "business person" I have ever had to deal with. I'm still in a state of shock that they can continue operating when they treat customers so atrociously.

Excellent customer service, great conversation during my drive fom Victoria airport to Sooke. The car was clean and comfortable with plenty of room for my luggage. Booking was quick and easy. Thank you BB for your kindness, it was lovely to meet you

Called them after leaving a party, waited over an hour and they never came.it was 1: 30 in the morning. Yellow Taxi came to the rescue thankfully and picked us up.but would not recommend to call victoria cabs to provide a safe ride home.

I asked for a taxi for a 12: 50pm pick up. They said no problem. I got a message that the driver showed up at 12: 35pm and left 4 minutes later because I was not there. Yeah no kidding I wasn’t there. Left me very late for an appointment and I’m really disappointed in the lack of reliability.

Extremely busy. Their dispatcher was rude and not helpful. However, their drivers are amazing and go out of their way to help you get where you need to go.

I don't know what these drivers do but everytime they pick me up they don't seem to know where they are Goin, do they have GPS? Well they do not use it and the driver morning refused to go the fast way I asked him to go he yelled at me and said he goes the way he wants and made me late for my job I thought he didn't know how to get ther in the first place. I made a video in the taxi and I will be posting it after this evening or tomorrow. He took me down the busy road to sit in heavy trafic not fair ride at all I would not recommend this company. They always take 20 minutes to arrive if they arrive at all

Great customer service. Due to another cab company loosing our reservation I call Victoria Taxi and told dispatch we were in desperate need for a ride. They delivered! Highly recommend this company

If you don't get an answer for the lost and found go into the office and fill out a report, and they can find your lost items

After waiting almost 2 hours for a cab from yellow cab I called Victoria taxi who picked me up within 10 minutes and the driver was very kind nice and understanding of the fact that I was slow due to a broken ankle five stars

I was disappointed with Victoria taxi they don’t have patience to wait for clients and they just leave without even checking.
There was a case where the trip was finished without even the customer getting into the taxi. It’s not reliable at all. The waiting time is very high. Most of the drivers are unprofessional.

I called Victoria taxi for a ride to the airport from Oak Bay last Friday morning. The driver, Brian, arrived promptly and was very helpful. His driving habits were excellent while still carrying on a conversation that made the commute go by quickly. Very pleased with the overall experience. The cab could have used a vacuuming but otherwise was decent. I have not taken a taxi for many years and was shocked by the rates. That is not the fault of the driver……just a sign of the times.

I called a cab at 330 am after being informed i would be asked for cash upfront I stated I was out front and very rudely she said "Great" like what I was saying was foreign n like I was rude for saying where I was

Spoke to one dispatch women at 1214am on Friday February 25th and she was extremely rude and vague. Asked for a ball park time of how long it would take for a pick up and she refused to answer. Responded with a question of 5 minutes, 15 minutes, 30 minutes, or an hour or longer so I could make an educated decision on whether to wait or to call someone else but she refused to answer. Called back and she answered again and she said 'probably less than an hour'. Was nothing but respectful and kind to her. Called back and her colleague was even more blunt and refused to speak to me and told me to call someone else. You're in the business of driving customers from point A to point B and wonder why people want a ride service like Uber here. Will never use your service again. Shame on you for denying someone in need when there are no other options available for someone when it's below zero outside.

I booked a taxi an hour ahead of time using their app, and no taxi ever showed up. When I called, the agent said that the ride had been cancelled on their end, but couldn't see why. I was also not notified of my ride being canceled, and ended up being very late to the event I was going to.
While I was on the phone, I wanted to launch a formal complaint, but she hung up on me. I called back and left a message, but no one ever returned my call.

I hate taxis. Victoria needs ridesharing desperately. Unbelievable how expensive taxis are plus they sent the car to the wrong address
