Delicious vegan Vietnamese food. Loved the pho, perfect for a cold day. Felt so warm, comforting and balanced with the veg, noodles and vegan proteins. Got the lemongrass chickn as well and loved that! Wish the portions for the chickn were a little bigger given the price point but overall delicious!

My favorite pho place in Vancouver due to the flavour, authenticity and the price. I always keep coming back with my partner.

I have come here plenty of times and food is so so good, I really like Cha Ca Hanoi and beef pho. Those are must-tried items for me. The young server is also friendly and nice. She came to refill water and checked on us carefully. I really like this restaurant.

Summer roll is great and really refreshing but I found something a bit salty at times. Really enjoyed the lemon water too. Would love to try similar salad rolls in the future. Wonder if there is any vegan shrimp

THE BEST vegan restaurant in my heart. The food is really soul food, and the staff is super friendly, especially the girl called Linh (I believe I spelled it right?) she is very knowledgeable about all the dishes, and very friendly and sweet.

I come here all the time and recommend to my non-vegan friends, they ALL love it!

I got the laksa soup, it was tasty, and they substituted the noodles for me cause my stomach can’t handle noodles. I was very happy with how accommodating and easy they substituted. I love their fried spring rolls too. I agree with the person below they should change the spring roll sauce. Also agree with the review below that sprouts, lime, and basil would be nice addition to the pho.
I want to try all the items. They once hosted a Meatless Meetup and it was wonderful. I appreciate the easy substitution. I like their chill/garlic sauce (not sure the name). Only thing is they charge 35 cents for large bags which is sort of unneeded, it’s already dumb to pay 25 cents. I am a fan of this restaurant and always recommend it and plan to return. 5/5

Finally! A Vietnamese vegan restaurant that has authentic tasting pho. Vancouver has a few decent Vietnamese vegan places but I haven’t found one that gives me the taste of all the spices that is usually in pho (you can smell all the notes right away). Taste light but also has the density similar to a meat broth. They do not skimp on noodles or broth! And their thick rice noodles are so satisfying compared to other vegan places. I could keep going on! Overall great food and quality ingredients. Will be back to try more things!

Dined here on a whim and I'm so glad we did. We were all pleasantly surprised. Vancouver has a lot of stellar vegan restaurants, and Viet Family definitely holds its own.

The Bun Saigon, Cha Ca Hanoi, and dumplings were all delicious. The spring rolls were definitely the best vegan spring rolls that I've had (would be even better with a different dipping sauce though. The one that comes with it doesn't pair well, in my opinion). The fried cauliflower would be a pass for me next time - it was just okay.

The restaurant ambiance is nothing to write home about, but the staff were really friendly.

I'd highly recommend checking this place out. I'll be back, for sure.

I was here with my partner who's vegetarian. I'm not, and I still thought everything was great - had the (plant-based, obvs) beef pho, and we split a roll and an order of dumplings. I was impressed by the broth, which I feel like is a nontrivial challenge to do well without using meat: if I hadn't gone in knowing it was plant-based I probably wouldn't have realized. Service was quick and friendly too.

A lovely restaurant with yummy Vietnamese food with a vegan twist:) I had the Eggplant Chick'N and it was so good, definitely coming back to try something else. Although I wish they had more drink options than cold/hot lemon water, like some tea.

Tried Viet Fam for the first time yesterday and plan on going back often. I had the lemongrass chick'n and it was easily one of the best meals I've ever had at a restaurant! The complimentary warm lemon water was a pleasant surprise and the staff were lovely.

The service is great. The food is phenomenal: flavourful, fresh, lots of contrasting texture, and no grease. Highly recommend.

Tiny family ran pho restaurant. Their vegan broth is as tasty as any typical Vancouver's Vietnamese beef broth you find in most pho places. The portion is quite generous for the price. The king oyster mushroom in the basic pho is awesome. The curry laksa noodle is surprisingly good.

The dishes are so fresh. I tried so many Vegie Restaurants, this one is the best. You guys shouh have Bun Saigon, this one is niche?

Absolutely love this new vegan hot spot. Can't wait to try all the dishes. We had the dumplings, veg roll, lemongrass chickn & laksa. I will be dreaming of that laska broth for days to come. Definitely get the peach tea too. Great food & service - we will be back!

The food was pretty good although a little bit on the expensive side. Most dieses were quite greasy. But the biggest issue is the decor and atmosphere. Not nice at all. I will probably order food for delivery, but not dine in again.

As a vegan and avid lover of asian cuisine, I had to jump on the opportunity of a fully vegan vietnamese joint. However, the Phở Chay 越南河粉汤 really lacked any flavor or authenticity and wasn't even served with basic mint, chillis and beansprouts condiments. I tried to add some flavor through the chilli oil and ended up just being tremendously greast overall. Iv had a lot of Phở and this really didn't do much for me at all Unfortunately.
Whilst I don't actively look for mock meats, the imitation beef wasn't bad and a there was a fair amount of tofu. It was also quite difficult to eat as it had huge slices of Pak Choi cut in a very peculiar method and a splash fest. We also shared a Veggie Roll which was pretty yummy, but fairly overpriced when considering it's one spring roll cut into four pieces.
The food also came super quick and at the time made me even think that there was a lack of care, effort and attention to detail.
Unfortunately this joint was a huge overhype for me and I hate to give a non-positive review but have to be honest.

Short simple menu, love that! Had the beef pho and lasksa, the soup was yummy! Portion could be bigger for the price. Great service! Only complaint was it was hot in there, air conditioner isn't working or not adequate.

Delicious vegan vietnamese food that both vegans and non-vegans will enjoy. We had the Laksa and lemon grass "chicken". The Laksa had a nice spicy broth while the lemon grass chicken was served with bok choy and cooked in a clay pot. Both dishes were loaded with flavor. Can't wait to come back to try some of your other dishes!

Fantastic experience. This place has lots of good vegan options. We had Pho and Curry laksa noodle. Both were delicious. Also got complimentary veggie roll.
The place has a nice cozy vibe and staff is friendly.

Not so many 100% VEGAN restaurant around Greater Vancouver, so this is a big plus I ordered several items and immediately fell in love with the home-made spring roll and Pho Family staffs are kind-hearted ️ Will definitely come back again

Sometimes when a vegan person recommends you something, it turns out to not taste good (no offence vegans).

But I am not vegan and trust me, this place is delicious. It is so flavourful and everything is cooked to perfection. We got lemongrass "chicken" and the laksa. Next time will try the noodles. The only thing I wish was bigger portion of the chicken, I can eat a big pot of it.

The girl working there is very sweet and everyone there seems hardworking! Please support this local gem.

Absolutely delicious! Wish I had time to go again, it was just so good. Small and cosy, not many seats so go when it's quiet but it's worth it especially for vegans.

A tiny vegan Vietnamese joint on the heart of Commercial Drive. I ended up here twice on a three-night trip to Vancouver, and ended up here just by chance as we were walking around looking for a place to eat. The wok fried brussels sprouts are simple, yet mouthwateringly delicious. Pad Thai was quite good as well. The peach tea, with slices of canned peach inside, is a delicious sweet treat. On my second visit I had the curry laksa noodle and loved it. Lots of flavour and a huge portion. My cousin, a foodie and a meat eater, had the "beef" pho and said the broth was outstanding. Not an easy feat for vegan pho. Service was super friendly and helpful. Highly recommend!

Disappointed. I got 2 noodle dishes, beef pho and wok udon and both were just noodles and a some mushrooms. Way too overpriced. The pho broth was good but it didn't even come with the usual accessories like bean Sprouts or basil

I love this place! It was amazing to be able to eat dishes I haven’t had since 8 years ago. The Bun Saigon was my favourite dish we ordered. The whole experience had my mouth in heaven. Our server was so cute. Her and her family just opened in June and I think the place will be a huge hit. Compared to other places I’ve eaten in BC during this trip, their prices are some of the best I’ve seen, especially for authentic (vegan) Vietnamese food.

Its very small inside but luckily there was 1 table available for us when we walked in. We got our food fast and I’ll be coming back for sure. Thank you so much!

Really fresh, flavourful & delicious! The caramel spare ribs are a great texture & full of flavour, fresh rolls are so refreshing, the broth of the pho is hearty, the lemongrass chkn is chewy. 10/10 will order often! (all vegan, too!)

Second time eating here and it’s absolutely worth every penny! Great flavorful vegan food, reasonable prices and lovely staff. We tried the veggie rolls, the brussel sprouts, the “beef” Pho (ask for sprouts/lime on the side), the bun saigon, lemongrass chickn and the caramel spare rib spice…every dish was delightful. Oh and they even offered us a papaya salad to taste…coming soon on the menu. Thanks Viet Family:)

Heed of warning: Everything was on the spicy side.

The staff were extremely friendly and accommodating, I have a nut allergy and they made sure to double check and do necessarily substitutions etc. They food was really good and well presented, alot of the meat substitute dishes you wouldn't be able to even tell was vegan! And not all the dishes were trying to imitate meat which I appreciated.

Really enjoyed my experience there:) would definitely go back again and recommend to friends/family.
