I've had Bahn Me, Bun, and Pho at this place-It's all phenomenal. The service is nice and the food always comes out quickly, hot, and delicious. I am now a regular here, and if you try it you will be too!

I think 4.5 as an aggregated rating is way too generous. Being a Vietnamese restaurant in Vancouver is definitely not easy since IMO Vancouver has some of the best Vietnamese food in Canada, but Viet Flavour is quite so so even when compared to some mediocre ones in Toronto. So I would say maybe a 3.9.

Ordered take out.very tiny portion of chicken and honestly tiny portion of food overall. Chicken was a bit hard and dry. Idk if this is a coincidence to mask their small portion but they put the sauce underneath the noodles to make the food look “fuller”. The food barely even filled the takeout container. That’s a first, I’ve worked in fast food before and the sauce is usually outside of the take out container or on TOP of the food. The fish sauce was like water. No flavour at all. Anyways, Not impressed and I am still hungry after eating. Would not order from here again.

The restaurant itself is small but usually not super packed.
We mainly frequent here for the well-priced pho. The broth has a nice flavour. The meat and veggies always taste fresh.
In my books, it's worth checking out!

I had the grilled lemon grass chicken banh mi. It only cost 7.55 plus tax and tip. It was very yummy and came with vegetables in the sandwich. I believe the veggies were daikon and cilantro. I'm also glad they didn't play top forty music as it's a Vietnamese restaurant.

Great broth! Tried a few different menu items and been happy with all. Happy to have a yummy pho place close to home.

We went on a Saturday at around 4pm. We ordered a chicken sub and lemongrass chicken vermicelli. The food was fresh and delicious. The bread of the sandwich had a crispy crust and it was soft on the inside. Excellent sandwich. The lemongrass chicken in the vermicelli was really tasty. They have a great $8 deal for a sub and a pop, most other dishes are around $14.50. The staff was friendly.

Broth was bland, beef didn’t taste good. Not sure how this has a 4.5 rating. We’ve been trying lots of places in the area trying to find the best, and so far this is the worst.

I've been to lots of Vietnamese restaurants and sadly the soups were disappointing. They lacked flavour and the noodles stuck together. Average experience.

Had the absolute worst experience. We waited 30 minutes for our food when the restaurant wasn't busy, even after signaling the waitress after the first 20 min of wait. Both our food came out room temperature cold, so they stuck it in a microwave to heat up which overcooked all the meat and noodles. The soup itself (i had the house special but replaced it with spicy soup) was extremely salty and had no complex flavors, it was basically just fish sauce and water

The dry noodles were extremely bland, even the shrimp tasted like nothing.

There are tons of better places around Vancouver, I recommend visiting them instead

Very tasty pho, kind of small for an extra large. The biggest downside was that they put the noodles in a paper takeout container, so a lot of the noodles were stuck to the paper bottom of the container and I had to try to peel it all off which was unsuccessful. I'd probably only eat in from now on!

One of my favourite places to get pho! Got the large house special and the broth was great. The large is a good enough size to fill you up, in my opinion.

Partner had the vermicelli with grilled chicken and spring rolls and she enjoyed it, as well!

Great little shop that graciously took in our large but late take out order about 30 mins before closing and everything was delicious. They were really generous with the fish sauce which is nice as most places never give you enough. Spring rolls were awesome and hand rolled with rice paper which also is rare as most places just use the generic frozen pre-made rolls. Meat portions in the vermicelli bowls are generous and not too fatty. Would recommend

Lovely viet place and authentic flavors. We had the fresh rolls, curry chicken and the vermicelli with lemongrass chicken.all of them were delicious. Definitely will go back to try other dishes!

I ordered the small beef stew with rice noodles with an iced Vietnamese coffee, and it was broth was very flavourful. The beef was also very tender. Overall, it was a nice meal especially considering the low price.

Definitely new ownership. Lost its flavor and authenticity - very bland and now comes with fortune cookies.

The food took a little time to arrive because it was so busy when we arrived but it was well worth the wait! The Pho broth was light and delicious. The Banh Mi bun was toasted to perfection and equally delicious. I think I just found me new go-to Pho spot.

Ordered #11: rare beef pieces were tender, tendon and tripe smelled clean, broth was not very rich, little heavy on the peppers, and had hints of asian medicinal flavours? Which I didn’t mind and actually appreciated how light it was after finishing the bowl. First time here and tbh I was expecting something a bit more beefy and fragrant, but at least everything was hot and fresh. Spring rolls were good too.

Best Grilled Chicken rice and beef stew in town. Will definitely come back for more. Highly recommend place!

UNDER NEW MANAGEMENT! This used to be one of me go to places. The former owner's Chicken pho was flavorful, the beef pho broth was very well done and the Bun dishes were very well seasoned.

UNFORTUNATELY, it's changed. I truly wish the new owners the best as they seem to be very hard working. However, it's nothing like the previous restaurant.

DECIDE for yourselves, as these are just my thoughts and taste buds.

This restaurant is super good, one of the best I’ve ever tried. The pho and papaya salad were delicious and the owners are very kind. Would recommend.

I really enjoyed the Pho Tai Nam. Great flavor with large portions, the small Pho would probably be sufficient for a single person unless you're pretty hungry.

I was also impressed with the quick pickup time, our order was ready for pickup 10 minutes after calling in.

The 4.6 star rating for this restaurant should be fake. The Pho is so bad, the soup is made with soup powder no beef flavour at all and the beef is not fresh, even the colour is so pale. Chicken wing oily and hard/dry inside.

Food was ok, but when asking for bill, the server didn’t provide breakdown and over charged me for more than 10 dollars. I didn’t realize until afterwards. No air conditioning. Would not return again.

The staff is friendly. Vietnamese subs are perfect and other foods are great too. It's worthy.

I like the Pho here and their sandwiches are kinda the most authentic Vietnamese sub in Vancouver. Also, I recommend you to try the vegetarian vermicelli.

Food is good, but I think they need to clean the eating places more. There're so many insects on the wall.

Viet Flavour is a great little Vietnamese restaurant! Our food was super fresh and the pho was delicious! I highly recommend this little gem!

I tried the Bun and the soup. I really enjoyed it. My family enjoyed it also. I spoke with Tony and he is a great guy. It’s nice to have good Vietnamese on the west side. Price is unbeatable. Broth is very flavourful and not too salty. Thanks Tony, I will look into that for you! Customers should really give this place a chance to really get its “full steam ahead “ going.

Delicious broth and very reasonably priced. Great if you want a bowl of something warm on a rainy Vancouver day.

YAY! I have found my go-to Vietnamese restaurant in my neighbourhood.

I tried the Bun Bo Hue (spicy beef soup noodles) and a crispy springroll on the side (they use the legit, bubbly springroll wrapper!)

Needless to say, I will be back to try the other items.

Discovered this new local Vietnamese restaurant and will definitely be back. Staff were very friendly and food was delicious. Simple, tasty and authentic Vietnamese food

Although Tom was a horrendous date (the one where you get your friend to call you for an "emergency"). The food here was delicious! And friendly staff. As the night dragged on with "Tom" I decided to get a strawberry smoothie and much to my delight it was AMAZING!

Newer place in the hood. Welcome! Veggie pho was good and so was the grilled chicken. Would have loved to try the Vietnamese coffee - will do next time. Nice welcoming ambience with a smiling server. Oooops- not sure why my photos are green looking.
