ViewPoint RV Park & Cottages

Stayed in the campground, was right next door to another RV. They were right out my window. Washrooms and laundry were nice and clean. The only real issue is the traffic and train noise.

So glad to have this Gem of a property to stay at! This is our 3rd year staying here and we can’t wait to come back. Liz and Scott are fantastic hosts, Cottages are clean and cared for, laundry and washroom facilities are well maintained.

Nicest owners you could meet, just so kind. Nice little spot, great showers etc.small place for kids to play just idea and affordable. Defo stop here again xx

Small campsite very nicely furnished and with nice owners! The pitches are large - fully equipped, great medical supply store, fireplace. Recommended without reservation! For sensitive ears, the passing highway may. Make you upset - but still a good choice!

A beautiful location over seeing the lake, very clean from the grounds to the facilities. Scott and his wife are absolutely super people. My wife and I had drove for 2 days with no shower, so looking for a shower I called Viewpoint and they welcomed us to come clean up for a small price. When I offered some money to Scott he looked at us and said, happy Canada day. We thank you very much, and have talked about bringing the trailer from alberta to stay for a few days. Stayed here one night at the end of our vacation. Very clean modern (but simple) washrooms. We had an RV but the manager let us look in one of the cabins and they seem nice and clean as well. Very close to the highway so a bit of noise. Swings and playground equipment for the kids, pet friendly, communal firepit.

Accommodating from the beginning! Scott told us their bathroom code and let me tell you, it was glorious! Very clean! From there it got even better. Room was super cozy with amazing A/C! Dont let the busy highway deter you, fantastic place to stay!

The Campground is small but beautiful, well managed and very well maintained. The owner is very personable and loves to chat with the traveller's. The only downside is that is right on the highway and can get noisy with the traffic going by. It is also near the rail road with trains passing by often. So if you don't mind the noise, this is a great place to stop for the night.

Nice RV park. Very clean facilities. Friendly and knowledgeable hosts. So nice to interact with people than an online reservation process. Great WiFi service which was appreciated since we are from the US.

We were the first guests for the 2023 Season.
On arrival we were met by our hosts who were very welcoming, kind and helpful.
The site is just off the Trans Canadian Highway, so it is obvious that so road noise is inevitable.
This did not disturb our sleeping nor the lovely time we had here on the site.
There is a wonderful Grill site with free lumber for the fire and a playing area for the Children.
The hosts also provide Basketball, Football and ball Sports as well as Badminton racket's for the children's enjoyment.
The Washrooms are in excellent condition and provide all the facilities that you could need, with Two showers and Lavatories per Male and Female.
The laundry (cost approx 4$/wash) are clean and in good working order.
All in all we can recommend this site.
