Village Coin Laundry and purified water

My only complaint was that I was one of two people in the establishment at the time doing lunch ndry and my whites didn't come clean because there was NO HOT WATER. I set the machine to only hot and even turned OFF the cold tap leading to the machine and still was unable to get even WARM water inside the machine. Now I have a 360$ Hugo Boss sweatsuit with set in stains that would have easily come out with HOT water because I used enough detergent and resolve to manage it easily.

Located in a small plaza in Rutland. Not a lot of parking. It's also a print shop. The young girl there today was very helpful. I needed the extra large washer for a king size duvet which cost $10 and 45 minutes. I was able to go do my grocery shopping and come back.
Free Wi-Fi available. Not a lot of places to sit.

Fantastic place! Great service low prices helpful staff. Couldn't find a better laundromat if you tried.

Yes they have a laundry attendant but she didn’t tell me there were four driers down when I put my washing in now it’s a 30 minute wait for a dryer. Yeah I’ll just hang them up to dry thanks a lot.

Should be zero stars, this is the worst business I've ever been in. It's dirty and there machines don't wash the clothes at all. The girl there is of no help when there's a problem with the machines and most machines say " out of order" will never go back there this is the 3rd time I've had a bad experience. RIP OFF

4 dryers out of 12 work. And not well at all. Half the washers are out of service as well. And no parking when you get here. I’m disappointed in this place. It use to be my go to laundry mat for years. Not anymore. To bad.

Unfortunately, I had to delete my positive review of 2 years ago.
3 of the 5 extra large machines were out of order. 4 of the dryers also had out of order signs posted on them. Most of the equipment is seriously outdated.

First time at a laundromat today due to a broken washer at home. The gentleman who worked today was friendly and kind. He showed me how to use the machines. He was always doing something keeping busy either vaccuming or cleaning offered help if I needed it.

Most of Kelowna’s overpriced laundries at least having working machines and don’t charge $3.50 for cash back. Total rip off start to end.

Number of out of order machines reflects how hard it is to get service and to get parts. Owner or employee here works hard and multiple things on the go. He helped everyone I saw ask him questions. I respect the work integrity

If I can rate zero stars I would. So many machines but only less than few work. They will remove your belongings from the driers before the time expires and leave your wet clothes on a cart. Say they looked for you and yell at you for calling them out.

This laundromat is dirty and messy. The machines need to be cleaned. More machines out of order than actually working. $9.00 for a 1hr dry what a joke. Guy working there was rude and beard full of food. I do not recommend this business. Owners obviously don't care about it. It sure doesn't deserve my business.

It was my first time washing at a laundromat so I asked her how it works and she did not help. I thought after asking her about drying and things she was actually going to dry them.she did not.after I came back in 2 hours (because she told me a wash and dry takes around 45 mins each) I came to pick up my blankets.and they were wet and cold.she said i didn’t specifically ask her to dry them? Other issues were her customer service was not good as she was on her phone and seemed not present during conversation.

I attempted to use the washroom, while waiting for my laundry to finish, I stepped into the room and noticed that there was no soap or toilet paper and someone had left an ecological disaster in the toilet.
I quickly existed, upon being told of this, the store representative quickly responded with a genuine "aire" of indifference and went back to
listening to his music.

AVOID! At all costs! Brought my down sleeping bag in to get cleaned and dried and completely ruined it! Told the girl to READ THE LABEL on the hood before doing anything and obviously doesn’t know how to read. Clumps of down are what’s left of it and when I came in to complain she defended her actions! I told her to call the owner so I could have a word with him about what do do about this and no answer from him! I will never deal with Punjab’s again! Lesson learned

Tooany machines out of order. You have to wait way to long for a dryer. Half are out of order. And big machines for washing don't work either 3-4 of them. It just adds up to much waiting

Very clean and good dryers & washers. Has everything needed for good service. Drop offs here too.

Spent 150$ on drop off service, just to have the most expensive stuff go “missing”
Called 3 times just to be meet with attitude and excuses. “I wasn’t working that day”
Better off washing it in the river.

Says they are open at 8am, I was there from 8: 40-8: 50, doors were closed, nobody answered the phone

An unusual small business, combining coin laundry, fax, printing, internet, and ink-cartridge sale and refills.friendly staff. Quality, competitively priced washing machines, the driers have a rather high starting minimum, but otherwise an all-round useful business, if you are in need of any of their services.

For anyone concerned about their health and people wearing masks don't go here! Even the operator did not have a mask on. They never asked people to wear a mask! Half of the washers and dryers were broken.

I used to be so impressed with this business for their kindness and genuine focus on good service. Not anymore. I dropped off a down duvet for cleaning and it was returned wet in a bag. I hung it when home and retuned it to the laundromat the next day for proper drying. Upon pick up, it was still damp and smelling like a wet bird. I left it for them to rectify. After picking it up tonight, it is dry-yet smells like wetness. I am so disappointed. I will not be able to tolerate the stench and will need to take it elsewhere for proper cleaning. I am not a fan of paying for a service that I didn't get.and this is costing me extra money and time. I hope the wet smell will come out.this was caused by their improper drying and storage. Sadly, this is a thumbs down experience for me. Frustrating enough to seek a new location.

Wasn’t busy, and the guy behind desk was super pleasant. He helped an elderly lady bring her laundry inside since she had quite a lot. Just overall good vibes.
I’d go back on my next road trip through town indeed.

Great service! Some machines are down but they have more then enough to compensate:). Also I don’t know who these yahoo’s we’re taking about regarding their covid measures. The whole place was constantly being wiped down and cleaned while I was there.

Good place for pizza in the plaza as well!

Very friendly owners, their drop off prices are great and the clothes were washed dried and folded to perfection. Strongly recommend!

Many of the machines were Out of Order.
I used 3 different sizes of washers and all of them left a lot of the rinse water in the load. They have the spin speed set to minimum to maximize the money spent on drying. As a result I will not use this location again. Btw. I didn't get the friendly service that others noted in their review.

Most of the washing machines don't work. The dryers are all full of thier own laundry. The girl is walking around like a zombie and doesn't say a word. A couple washed thier clothes and thought the machine they put them in to dry was a dryer but it was another washer. They were from anothrr country. They needed help and the girl was clueless. Reluctantly like a sloth empied a dryer for me. Customer service everywhere is pathetic these days. Everywhere!

Washers need to be seriously serviced, as many of the front are out of service or they dont even fill properly to wash clothes.and they know they can get away with it as Rutland seriously lacks in any laundry services for big loads

Staff are really nice and can always make change, but most of their big machines are usually out of order and they dont have enough, which is frustrating.

Great service: they always have change on hand and direct you to the best available washers. It’s been a pleasant experience. I usually come weekly.

The older Woman is not very friendly. She got into two arguments with custo.ers within 45min of being there.

Very old and half the equipment is out of service. Bring your own change because they charge $3.00 to make change.
