After going to multiply dealerships and trying to find a car that I liked. I went to VIP Mazda and I’m so glad I did. The pricing was better than other dealerships I went to. I did a factory order and it was here before the 3 month mark. Jas and Todd were phenomenal to work with. I’m so happy with my suv and I highly recommend others to check them out as well!

This is my first time financing through a dealership, first choice obviously was VIP mazda due to my grandparents coming here for the past 20 or so years.very trusted people, Jas helped me find what i was looking for, he gave the best advice and heads-up for anything that came about! Super nice individual, and very knowledgeable.todd was also super helpful with everything and fights for everything he can, as long as he knows it’s benefiting the customer.i will forever cherish the welcoming atmosphere there.thank you guys for helping me out! Love my new car:)

Called Gordie from the service dept.and he was awesome. My wife was traveling from the US to Canada and her engine light went on. She pulled in and they checked her codes right away even though they were slammed. She was on her way feeling more confident and I really appreciate VIP Mazda aka Gordie going out of his way to help. Poor customer services from the service department. Brought my cx5 for a slow leak in the tire. After 2 hours the mechanic came out to tell me that there is a stick in the tire and not repairable. Fair. Tires are covered under warranty. Mechanic blatantly tells me that he has never heard of the tire brand imperial and that it could be weeks until they could find it/if they could find it. I explained I drove daily on the highway and can't wait weeks for a new tire as I am driving on a spare. Basically was told oh well and completely dismissed. The service manager suggested installing a different brand, I voiced the concern of having 1 different tire (bad practice) and was suggested I could pay out of pocket to replace opposite tire to match. Tires are barely 3 months old. A couple hours after I left I received a call from the service manager. Surprise they found the tire brand and will be here Friday.

First and last time I will be bringing my car in for service at this location.

Recently purchased a 2022 G5 signature from the team at VIP Mazda. They went above and beyond for us. A special shout out to Pat D. His knowledge and years of experience were a big help to us. We definitely recommend this dealership.

I talked to the lady in parts department and she was very professional and got me the right answer very quickly.

Only thing I would suggest the dealership to please put the timings for Parts and Service alongside the open hours for customer convenience.

From sales, to finance to insurance, the service was wonderful. This experience was the most painless time I have had buying a vehicle. Everything was completed over the phone, all I had to do was go in, sign papers, pick up the car and I was set! Jas and Pat were great, no pressure, honest and down to earth. Super happy with the service, super happy with my 2023 CX5!

VIP Mazda truly makes you feel like a VIP! My initial contact with Jas Sharma was friendly and smooth. He was very up front and easy to work with. The entire team made us feel like family. A great experience all around!

If and when I’m ready for another Mazda, I would not hesitate to travel to Abbotsford to make the purchase with VIP!

Tried to buy a vehicle from this dealership. When I told them I was from Alberta and would come to them from out of province to purchase a vehicle with cash, they refused to continue speaking with me, just stopped answering my questions and didn’t explain why. I’m surprised by such poor service from the sales department of all places. I understand they are probably incentivized to sell to people who will finance the vehicles they sell, but it doesn’t mean you stop talking to your client because they want to pay cash.

Bought my truck from Tony with help from Todd, both were exceptional guys, I had my 2year old son who was getting impatient, and they went above and beyond to make sure he was happy and everyone was comfortable. I was always nervous of dealerships from past experiences but these guys didn’t push one bit. 10/10

It was a very hot day when I visited VIP. While checking out the used cars Tony Byrne came out to the lot to check on me and bring me a bottle of water. I went back a couple of days later and Jas Sharma helped me choose a used Mazda. Todd Doern helped me understand an extended warranty which I purchased for my 2016 model. At no time was there ever any pressure to purchase anything so I have to say that buying a car at VIP Mazda has been the best car buying experience ever. And even before I left with my new car Tony took the time to show me how everything works and how to sync my phone and car.

We had an absolutely wonderful experience buying with Jas Sharma at VIP. We casually dropped by on a Sunday and Jas encouraged us to take the CX5 Signature for an immediate test drive; we picked up our new car the next morning! We were so impressed with Jas’s knowledge on even the smallest of details about the vehicle and he has a super friendly and down to earth personality that made our buying experience amazing. Dave, the service manager, helped us to try and solve an electrical issue with an older Mazda. His technician, Kevin, used his expertise to diagnose an issue that other mechanics at other shops were baffled with. I highly recommend this service center for a trustworthy and knowledgeable service experience.

Disappointing Customer Service (Service Department)
We own a 2016 Mazda 3 Sport, GT. On July 6 the car died while I was driving. No noise, no warning. There was no power, all the lights came on and it was dead. It had gas, there was no oil on the road. After checking all the basics it was towed to VIP Mazda in Abbotsford. They gave us a number of different possibilities but they had no idea. Because it was out of warranty they were not willing to work with us, in any way. (We took it to VIP Mazda for every maintenance check except for the last one in January. It was going to cost us at least $200 more than the certified mechanic who did the maintenance.)
This was determined by the excellent mechanic who ended up installing a new engine for us
“The bolt head let loose from the crankshaft bearing cap and was pushed out the side of the engine block by the connecting rod. The bottom picture shows the bottom of the connecting rod and how it was scored by the bolt head. No amount of lubrication (or lack of) would have effected the outcome as a secure bolt needs no lubrication. The bolt was defective. Likely a casting flaw. ”
It was not under warranty so we didn’t expect a free engine or free labour. However, we did expect Something in return for our years of loyalty. We went to Mazda Canada who told us that the Service Manager, Dave had offered to work with us. This is absolutely not true. Even after the details from a certified mechanic they said “We feel that every consideration has been given in reviewing your case. “

My Husband and I both work in fields driven by Top Notch Customer Service. In this case, we didn’t get anything resembling that.

Short review: Dealt with Jas, Ankush, and Todd. Great purchasing experience, can highly recommend that anyone looking for a Mazda please give these guys a look. They go out of their way to make you happy.

Long Review: I'll try and break this up into parts to make it a bit more digestible. Purchasing the car we did run into some hiccups but the team here jumped hurdles to make it work and for that I need to tell the whole story.

I originally started doing my research into which vehicle to purchase about a month or two ago. After having determined that the mazda 3 sport would suit my lifestyle. I sent out a few emails to different dealerships based on their ratings, reviews, and general inventory. I sent out basic emails to multiple sales people requesting basic car information such as cost and inventory. Of all the dealerships Ankush was the only one that didn't push, but instead gave me a complete breakdown and any other incentives they could offer and asked if I would want to come in. Being local he made it clear he would do the best he could to get me into one of their cars.

The next day I came into the dealership and we had decided on the make, model, colour and trim level that would work with my budget. On top of that we even had some back up colours in mind just incase I wasn't able to get my hands on the car due to current chip shortages (I was made aware that this was a very real possibility). I signed the dotted line and placed a deposit hoping to hear back from them soon.

The very next day I got a call from Ankush letting me know that the model I had picked had sold and they wouldn't be able to get me my preferred colours until at least November as all the colours that I wanted had been sold. But there was the possibility I could get a higher end model. I was surprised when I went in and they offered me the same deal as a sign of good faith. All I can say is they went out of their way to make my life a bit easier and get me into a new vehicle. I'm leaving this review as a sign of good faith and trust in these guys. Thank-you to the whole team, I'll update this review after my first vehicle service.

Today is the first time got my service at this dealership. Compared with the other Mazda dealership I used to go, this one does not offer coffee, shuttle bus, courtesy car, or taxi ticket. I had to take a taxi home (took one star off because of this.) Complementary car wash missed my car’s roof. However, disposable face mask and hand sanitizer was sufficiently provided. Service people are seem to be decent.

Just got my first servicing on my CX 5
Super nice people, but.
When I made the appointment there was no mention of interior vacuuming of the vehicle is suspended due to Covid, so I wasted my time removing my tools and personal effects,
Having been a loyal GM customer most my life I was surprised that VIP Mazda has no shuttle service or courtesy vehicle available, so you get to wait for an hour and 15 minutes for a $110 dollar oil change, but included in the servicing was a car wash, most of it anyways,
They forgot to wash the roof,
Come on guys step up your game!

My experience with VIP Mazda was amazing! Todd and Jas were extremely easy to deal with and I am so glad I went with them to purchase my vehicle. One of the best customer service experiences I’ve had in a while and I really appreciate that. They are real people who care about you, not like some sales guys who think you’re just another number! I haven't had a service done by vip mazda in a while just because it is out of my way, But ended up going today for a regular service, a few recalls and to get my snow tires put on. The service staff at the desk were all awesome and really friendly, they gave me a ride home while the work was being done and the young guy driving was really nice. The work ended up been a bit cheaper than I had expected which was great and the wash/vacuum was one of the best out of all the other brand dealerships i have taken my other vehicles to.

Husband and I looked at a car, liked it but found out it had some issues that the dealership itself hadn’t noticed. Decided we would take the car as long as the issues were fixed. Put down a $2000.00 deposit, which we were told verbally WAS refundable. Thought more about it over the weekend and decided considering the stuff that we found wasn’t even noticed by the dealership when it was inspected, how much more could there possibly be that they missed. Called this morning telling them we had changed our minds and we wanted our deposit back. We are being told no, we cannot have it back! We signed for the deposit, subject to those items. Will do what we can to fight it and will never do business there again.

I got a new key made for my older Mazda. When it was ready, they brought my car around and let me in, with the engine running. All was good, until I tried to get into my car later that day. My new key wouldn't open the door! When I had to drive back there the next day, they fixed it, but when I asked why they wouldn't have made sure the key worked before they gave it to me, the technician said he couldn't answer that and shrugged. That second trip cost me gas, an hour of driving, and a lot of frustration, none of which was even acknowledged with an apology. A business' true customer service shows when mistakes are made, and I was very disappointed in this experience.
