I live in Squamish; and travel to North Vancouver for my appointment every time because of the friendly and professional service level that I don't get from the opticians in Squamish.

Very disappointed -they have changed -got an email offer to re book on their automated system and they offered a time -I confirmed both appointments. Then we get there and they have no appointment for us and say that because their hours have changed you have to reschedule in the message. The booking message does not say that: it gives you a choice to confirm or reschedule -I picked confirm but apparently it did not because allegedly of their changes hours -to be clear I took the appointment they emailed me and offered but I was mad to look like I was wrong -so done -one of the staff is nice -but some are snippy -last examination had felt rushed too so I am moving on

I arrived early, before my appointment, sat for 20 min in waiting area passed my schedule eye exam time. What's the point of making an appointment? I missed time off work for this? ! Big thumbs down, not impressed.

The exams were done efficiently by a friendly technician, who explained what was being done. The optometrist answered all my questions and provided me with good recommendations. I have confidence in these eye care providers. That is why I keep coming back.

Both of the MOAs (I believe their names were Allyne and Angela) we saw over the 24 hrs of appointments for my 4.5yo son were very kind and nurturing. He had a tiny speck of dirt or dust embedded in his eye, and they made him feel at ease during a very stressful situation. The doctors were great too.

After the eye exam and seeing the doctor, I was given a prescription and left the office. After an hour, I was on highway 1 driving home. Then, I received a call from the staff asking me to come back because My pressure check is incomplete! The doctor ignored staff’s note to do additional the test on me.

I was feeling unwell and went to the clinic to have it checked. My expectation is to pick up prescription and rest at home as soon as possible. To spend on gas and time like a few hours driving back And forth in traffic of North Van and Highway 1 is the worst first experience with this eye clinic.

Everyone is friendly. But their communication among the team seriously needs improvement. I am very unhappy about inconvenience happened yesterday.

It was smooth like butter, I arrived a few minutes before my appointment, checked in and moved on to the first room of tests, then moved on to meet with the doctor, she went through everything and answered all my questions and like that got a new prescription and went next door to have it filled. I was in and out of both places in 45 mins!

The experience was the tops! I got an appointment in 10 hours. Referred me to a specialist and I got in with 24 hrs notice. Angela Wanamaker made my visit super easy and lighthearted. Both ladies at the front were efficient, friendly, knowledgeable. The Optometrist doctor was also pleasant and knowledgeable, perhaps, most importantly.

The eye examination was good and fast. Dr. Hakimzadeh was on time and did a through examination. Lots of parking available at the site. Clinic was clean and professionally maintained.

Dr. Elahi was an unprofessional lady. My son and daughter did not even understand what she was saying. Like a robot, she kept on saying " 1,2,1,2,1" and my son and daughter got frustrated because they did not understand what those numbers meant. Not visiting this specific doctor again.

I love this clinic. Dr. Hakimzadeh is a fantastic doctor - so kind and down-to-earth.so professional. I won't go anywhere else. The front desk staff are all lovely and they are always super inviting. They have a really great team there. This is evident the minute you enter the clinic.

The exam was painless, informative and when I returned home, one of the staff called me to let me know the doctor had reviewed the photos and information obtained during the exam further, which resulted in an appointment being made for me at a retinal specialists.

Great experience, the doctor who did my exam was polite, courteous and professional. I was very comfortable with him.the lady who helped me choose my frames and made my lenses was the same.my glasses were made available within two hours which is just outstanding.we really appreciate the service that all parties provided, thank you, very much appreciated!

Arrived a few minutes early, was greeted warmly by the front desk staff. A couple of questions about the reason for my visit and then a brief exam by an assistant. After that I was brought into the full examination room where within a minute the doctor came in and conducted the necessary tests. She also explained the results to me and suggested treatment options. All was professional, personable and I felt well taken care of.

Disappointing. Dr. Hakimzadeh came highly recommended by a friend, but I didn't feel that he listened to me at all! I have been wearing glasses for over 25 years and my prescription has changed drastically over the years to the point where I only use reading glasses, but I use them quite a lot. My eyes hadn't been checked in 4 years, so I figured it was time to give my old glasses an upgrade. He did a typical eye exam, then did ONE test with the refractor and came to the conclusion that I don't need glasses at all? ! One test with the refractor? ! I have been to many eye doctors since I got glasses as a pre-teen and there was always more than one test. It felt like he just didn't want to do the exam.
I even brought my reading glasses in to the appointment and said they had been working well for me. He seemed irritated that I still wanted to keep the prescription from my current reading glasses because I use them quite a bit, so he hesitantly wrote an even lesser prescription than the ones I said have been working well for me. He didn't listen at all!
I had also been having eye infections, and all he said was the creams the MD had prescribed wouldn't work, but didn't look at where I said the infections started. My eyes are still sore, so now I have to find a different eye doctor and pay another $115 to someone who will hopefully listen to me and do a thorough exam.
The two stars are only for the lovely front desk women!

I had an incredibly pleasant experience at Vision Optometry Clinic from welcoming, attentive, and enormously friendly supporting staff to amazingly caring Dr. Hakimzadeh himself. I can not say enough how wonderful my experience was. I highly recommend Vision Optometry!

Best Optometrist I have ever gone to. Impeccable service and care, always. Today is a perfect example of how they take care of their patients. I had a contact issue this morning, I was nearby so decided to go in to make an appointment personally. Before I knew it, I had new contacts in both eyes and Dr. Hakimzadeh was examining to ensure they fit properly. Angela was amazing, she knew there was an available free spot and quickly let me try the contacts on and took me right into the doctor's office. I was sitting in the waiting room watching a woman make the customer service staff feel as awful as they can, and then continue to raise her voice at the optometrist trying to help her.
The level of professionalism they displayed, in handling and trying to diffuse the situation was remarkable and they deserve a medal for the amount of patience they showed with this customer.
