Satisfied with the service I got from the store and staff but NOT SATISFIED with DR. Bandesha performing the eye exams at the store.
I had an eye exam done on july 12th. Long story short, I could not see out of the glasses ordered. As it was suspected that the prescription was incorrect, they offered me to retake the exam but at a later date in mid august, since Dr. Bandeshda was not available until then. I need glasses and could not wait 4-5 weeks to have my glasses. I had to go to another eye doctor to have my eyes examined once again and the exam revealed that the prescription writen by Dr. Bandesha was way different than the new one. I contacted Dr. Bandesha in order to have my eye exam reimbursed and having spoken to her directly, she refused to reimburse the exam. I then offered to submit all the information from the 2nd exam but she would not hear it claiming that the prescription may have changed. I'm over 50. The prescription she wrote me was too strong. In 3 weeks between exams my eyes got better?
The store did reimburse the glasses and I'm sorry for giving 1 star but as I cannot rate Dr. Bandesha's services elsewhere, I have to do it here. I'm after the $105.00 charged by the doctor for the exam. It's a question of principle and responsibility.

I went to visions based on a recommendation by a co-worker. I was greeted by Giselle.wow is she impressive at multi-tasking. The Optometrist was professional and thorough. She answered all of my questions and went over everything. As I mentioned before Giselle was hands down great.her customer service is top notch.you can tell that she cares about everyone that comes in.she helped me pick out 2 pairs of frames. I left it up to her capable hands to find me the right frames and style I was looking for.after, I was helped by another co-worker who was just as amazing and helpful. I will most definitely be going back for future exams and glasses. I will also tell friends and family to go visit Visions!

Let me start my saying, I have been wearing glasses for over 50 years. I recently had my prescription updated and with the help from Sophie LeBlanc, picked out new frames at Vision Optical in Chilliwack, From the moment I met Sophie, she treated me with respect, compassion and professionalism. I received second to none service. So much so, a few days later my wife went to see Sophie to pick out new glasses as well.
That evening we both chatted about what a wonderful person she was to deal with.
Sadly, when I went to pick up my glasses today, I learned that Sophie's last day here in Chilliwack is the end of May. Truly our loss and Novia Scotias gain.
We will miss your smile and kindness. All the best to you in the Maritimes.

I walked in today, totally stressed out.
I lost my nose pad on my progressive glasses. Was seeing double.
As soon as i walked in i was greeted
with a warm welcoming from Mai.
She fixed my nose pad straighten my frame and cleaned them. Instantly stress was gone.
I highly recommend this location.

Omg. Where to start. I’ve had the best experience over the past few days. From checking out new frames, to coming back the next day and putting two pairs away. Today, I completed my purchase. I was dealing with Mai.from start to finish. She was professional, kind, patient and extremely helpful. Thanks to her help, I’ve already passed on my experience to friends who are now looking for new glasses. Thank you Visions “Chilliwack”.

Wonderful experience with this store and our consultant Mai Mouradi. I brought my elderly mom in for an exam and glasses. I sure learned a lot about fit and she has a great eye for style and shape.

I was just in vision today April 8 2022 met the absolute rudest salesperson I have ever met in my life. Felt like I was judged by her the moment walked in. The experience only got worse from there with the way she interacted us. I find this very sad as I have always bought myself and my wife's glasses there, prob 10 pairs. We have always had the most amazing experience with polite, helpful and Friendly staff untill me met the young lady today. Super shame as I have always enjoyed buying my stuff there. Will never go in there again. Note to owners or managers, maybe have her brush up on her people skls alittle. I am now sitting in it's and having a much different experience. I would recommend people head over there

Had a very sad experience here, I received the wrong prescription twice after ordering glasses with both prescriptions given, I took quite a big loss. Sadly no reimbursement was given for the exam or remorse for my money lost

We’ve purchased from this store a few times and always had great service. This past week was exceptional as we had a pair of glasses break & they went out of their way to arrange a free replacement even though the warranty was up. It made our day & we’ll be back this year for at least 2 more pairs - thank you!

I had horrible customer service with the manager today at the Chilliwack location. I have never been made to feel so stupid and I’ve been ordering through this company for over 10 years. I have taken my business elsewhere unfortunately.

I went in to the store and left quite upset as I had an appointment and arrived on time with my 3 children in tow. The doctor was running late and a patient who was ahead of me had also arrived late for his appointment and missed it. I was told that we would go before him as he had missed his time slot. When the doctor came out he then took the patient who had missed his appointment before us.which would have made us 45 minutes late for our appointment. I walked out.if I hadn't of called and spoke to the new owner this would have been a 1 star review. He listened to everything I had to say and apologized for the inconvenience. Within 15 minutes he called me back with a new time slot that made my life easier as I did not have to bring all 3 kids back with me. I appreciate his kindness and willingness to listen and make changes if they are needed. I understand growing pains happen and will come back and support a small business.

I had very poor experience with Dr. Vincent Wu. He made an error on my prescription but tried to convince me that it was actually not incorrect. When it was explained that the prescription makes me dizzy and that it was blurry, I was told the lense size was the issue not the prescription. While he was re-examining my eyes, he moved the lense choices by my eyes so fast that I had to ask him to slow down so that I could say which one was better or worse. After he redid the exam, my prescription was different due to his original mistake however he still would not admit to making an error. During my appointment he dropped my brand new prescription sunglasses on the floor, no apology was offered. Overall I do not trust his prescriptions and was saddened that he was unable to own his mistakes and appologize for them.

Got an incorrect prescription from a different optometrist and Visions replaced the lenses they gave me for free with the correct prescription. A great policy that will bring me back to this store!

Don’t go here. I made an appointment a month in advance. I arrived on time. Was then told I had no appointment - oh wait - let me see. Oh, no you did have an appointment. There was a scheduling change. No one can see you today. Do you want to make a new appointment? NO. No I don’t. I note they have a sign that says YOU have to pay THEM $25 for cancelling with less than 24 hours notice. I had ZERO notice. No text, phone call, or email. Stay away from this obviously disorganized place that thinks your time is worthless while theirs is not.

Worst customer service ever. Will never go back. If I could give them 0 stars I would! Also had to wait almost 3 weeks for glasses. Their employees were rude and condescending.

Looking for new eye dr and place to buy glasses for my two kids, read through the comments and reviews, top seven or so are low star and negative, I'll pass on giving my business to Vision's.moving on to the next eye dr.and eye glass store on the list.thank you other reviewers for your reviews.my decision is directly related to your time spent in posting your reviews.

The people running the store are fine. The $8.00 cleaning fee is ridiculous. It's something they should have already been doing, but now cause of Covid we have to pay extra. That's ok I paid.

My real frustration is that I ordered glasses December 10,2020, and have yet to receive them. I have called 3 times to only get told "Sorry not yet", without any further information as to why it's taking so long. Updating customers of delays is a good policy to have! Can I please get my glasses? I would cancel them, but the orders already processed through my insurance company, and the glasses are paid for.

Won't be buying from you again!

The customer service isn't terrible, but more put off by the 8 dollar fee (its the principle) when having an appointment just so they can make sure show room is clean for the next customer. Just a money gouge for cleanup that they should be responsible for. We wear masks, hand sanitize numerous times just to be in the store, which entrance isn't even feasible without an appt, so I'm thinking safety first is #1 for all. Precautions are great during covid, but me paying you to clean a store when honesty, you seem to have enough time on your hands to do it yourself without our extra expense. Just puts me and others off especially in such a time of uncertainty and fixed finances. Something to think about.

No complaints about the ladies on the sales floor but.had a peculiar experience on the technical side.
But then, I had a couple of peculiar experiences with other
opticians too. So, to be fair I give you top rating with the advice to
be cautious on the technical aspect of dispensing eye wear.

Candice was more than happy to help repair sunglasses I brought in that had a nut missing. Finding the right tool and just the right nut the store had on hand was a challenge but she didn't mind helping out. I had purchased a quality pair of sunglasses in July with Candice's expert help, so I felt confident if anyone could repair this other pair of sunglasses she was the person. All done at no charge! The ladies helping were very sweet an even Re fixed the glasses I had gotten from Walmart free of charge. The doctor was not the one I usually see there an seemed like he was maybe new? Next time I’ll have to ask to get my regular optometrist but overall a great experience an this is where I’ll continue to get my eyes checked!

I would never recommend this store based on customer experience and product reliability.bought sunglasses and lenses and they broke within 4 months, the store replaced them on warranty but said it’s a one time replacement.fair enough, but within 2 weeks the frame cracked again on the same side. When the store clerk looked at them she said that it looked like a pressure crack from an improper fit lens.but they still won’t replace them and the lens cracking the frame is 100% not my fault! But will they replace them nope. If I could give them. “0” star I would! The staff at this store is impossible to work with and quite rude when you call them on their mistakes. For example the one lady who adjusted the arm on my glasses swears up and down it wasn’t her fault that the arm broke off two days later. So on top of the cracked frame the arm fell off! Bottom line skip this store and find someplace else. Two thumbs down

I feel irritated by good reviews online for this place. All the good reviews are 3 years old. All the recent reviews are bad. Lesson learned to pay attention the the date on reviews going forward.

I made an appointment in person for an appointment in two weeks time. Kim supposedly wrote everything on a business card for me (appt time, info for frames I liked etc).

The night before my exam, pulled out the card, only to discover there was no appointment time. I called them the shortly after opening to ask what time my appt was, only to discover my appt had been the first of the day and I was 20 mins late.

The woman on the phone couldn't have cared less. Just said "well didn't you pay attention to the reminder call you got? ". I explained to her I never received a reminder call. She didn't care, just offered to rebook my appt in a week. No thanks! Taking my business to Crystal Optical, I've already gotten a confirmation text and email and I only made the appt an hour ago. Should've gone there in the first place.

For the last 25 years I've purchased my glasses from here but will no longer deal with them. My specialist was shocked that they sold me glasses over $500 when I was in need of cataract surgery and the glasses useless after surgery. I'm appalled at all levels of management with this company as they have no business ethics in a medical type field anymore. It's all about retail and not about what's in the best interest of the patient needing eyeware. The options given we're totally unreasonable to being able to see. It is very unfortunate that optical places have become about sales and not service. The Dr on site made a questionable mistake, and they take no ownes on it and say I'm the one to blame for the purchase. Not even a comprehendable answer.
I would recommend a licensed optition the next set I get which on a disability pension is going to be hard to do in this day and age and will imediately need as soon as my operation is complete in 2 months. Maybe that's why they don't keep managers at this store for any length of time.
A customer for over 25 years and now disastisfied with the service and treatment all levels of management in this company!

If I could say zero stars I simply would! The reviews are VERY mixed on this but trust me when I say the good reviews are either old or maybe friends of the people who work there. I will make this short and get to the point.the eye doctor himself was good he was quiet and monotone but I didn’t mind just wanted to get my prescription, after waiting 3 weeks for my glasses I got a call 20 minutes before closing saying I could pick them up I came as fast as I could coming about 8-10 minutes before closing to find that the staff lost my “paperwork” or something I tried to understand but two people were talking one almost yelling at me at the same time.they explained they would need to re do it as well as need to put in the information to my new plan.that was okay so I signed and the woman told me it would take 10 minutes to process I said that’s fine I can wait! She was very rude to me and both of the ladies made it very clear they would not stay 5 extra minutes to help me so I could be on my way very bad costumer service so I had to leave no glasses after three weeks! I understand but she was rude pushy and I felt like I was a little kid being lectured if you are closing in 20 minutes don’t call me 20 minutes before closing if you can’t help me! Never again will I go here and I hope I can save many of you from going here this doctor needs to find new staff before he goes out of business

I am a professional in the medical field and accustomed to interacting with the public on a one-to-one basis. Yesterday I visited Visions Optical and found myself at first to be disappointed by the rather detached almost robotic manner that my eye examination was conducted by the attending optometrist. I certainly wouldn't score him high on his professional interaction and communication skills. However, his very friendly, informed and involved assistants more than made up for my original feelings of disappointment. I would like to thank the three employees, including Jinder, Nilofer and Catherine for their attentive care and interaction with me to ensure that I could make the best decisions on glasses that are very important for me in my line of work.

Mislead by reviews. The good ones are two years old. Service was appalling. Would strongly recommend going Elsewhere.
