These guys helped us out when we needed our punctured tire repaired quickly. It was super short notice and they accommodated us without hesitation. Work was done quickly and everyone was courteous. Very reasonable pricing too! Will visit again for sure! Thank you!

Had to get my heater system fix on my minivan. Found this shop while googling for auto repair garage.

Vital Auto had great reviews and I wasn't disappointed. Everyone I dealt with was friendly and helpful. I brought my van in the morning. They identified the problem quicker than I anticipated and after giving them the ok to fix the issue. Repaired everything by about noon.

Really happy with the service here! My car battery died and they were able to fix it within a couple hours of calling them. They ordered a new battery and they came to where I had my car and changed the battery quickly. The price is very reasonable also. Would go here for my car repairs and maintenance.

These guys are absolute pros! Brought my Nissan Xtrail in for cooling fan/wiring issues just when it seemed no other mechanics could or wanted to fix/diagnose the problem, & they took it on.
Alan explained everything in great detail and kept me informed every step of the way.

Alan is an incredible mechanic. Super smart, super hard working and incredibly trustworthy. I have an older Rav4 that always has complicated problems. Alan thoroughly explains problems and goes above and beyond to solve issues in an economic way. I can’t recommend Alan enough.

Dipak at Vital was an incredible sport and made sure I could safely get my car back on the road. I was looking at a new engine/car after my 2016 Elantra started stalling at low rpm, no engine lights or codes present and only an occasional flicker of the oil light. Dipak went the extra mile to diagnose the fault and drove the car around town to make sure there was no more stalling.

Have been driving the car for a few days now and the motor runs great, no stalls or noises/shaking from the engine. The fix ended up costing only 200 bucks as Dipak refused to charge for labour and threw in a heavy discount on parts. I could not have left being more satisfied and know where I'm taking my vehicles in the future.

I always went to this garage for major things because the previous owner of the vehicle has done all the maintenance here. What can I say: The guys are friendly, have fair prices and explain everything.
One time I came back because of a noise and I thought it comes from a part they just fixed but I was wrong. They lifted the car and showed me the bottom, everything was fine with the repair and they didn't charge me for the time.
I did a 20.000 km roadtrip with my car, had no incidents and recommended the shop to the new owners. Keep up the good work.

I recently had my car serviced at Vital Auto, and I couldn't be more pleased with the service. From the moment I arrived, the staff was welcoming and friendly. The mechanic who worked on my car was extremely knowledgeable and took the time to explain all the work that was being done. I could tell that they took pride in their work, as they went above and beyond to ensure that my car was running in top condition. The prices were also very reasonable – much lower than what I expected for the quality of work that was performed. Overall, I highly recommend Vital and will definitely be returning for all my future car needs.

I needed to have two bushings pressed into a control arm, a small job. Got turned away from a few other shops because "it was not worth their time". The guys at Vital were friendly and willing to help from the get go. They had it done fast, and the price was more than fair. I get the feeling that these guys genuinely like helping people.

Shop was very professional, had a few small hiccups between getting new tires but the staff handled everything as quickly as possible. Originally went for an oil change and break pad replacement. They let me know my break pads were still at 40 and 50 percent. My breaks have been squeaking at low speeds after the tire change though. Not quite sure why. My guess is it may be moister, dust or small amount of rust. I would highly recommend this mechanic. As stated before they go out of there way to rectify or handle any mishaps ASAP.

We were in the city from west kootenays for dr appointments during covid.our rear brakes and caliper went on the drive to Vancouver from home. We were worried we wouldn't find a place that could get us in fast.vital ordered the parts the day we talked with them and had us bring the car in the next day.he wanted to do it that day but we couldn't due to our appointments.he understood our predicament and was awsome.getting us in asap.ty Vital u rock.

This shop is my go-to car repair/maintenance store. Their staffs are friendly, patient, and responsive. My car has the ECL on a while ago and it was a pain in *** to fix. They diagnosed the problem, ordered the parts right the way, and got it done as soon as possible. The shop is quite busy (too many returning customers I guess.) so make sure you call and book an appointment.

The team there was great! I supplied parts to have all my brake pads and rotors to be replaced and had no issues at all. They called a couple of times during the service to make sure I was aware of what was being changed and what work was being done - super honest and up front! Such a great auto shop. The guys here are super friendly and honest. I've been coming for a few years and I wouldn't go anywhere else-the service is timely and the prices are fair. Added bonus: they don't make you feel stupid if you don't know much about cars. Seriously check them out!

Extremely honest people! I had a flat tire and took it back to kal tire to see if they can fix it, they said my rim is corroded which led to the tire failing. They tried to sell me 4 new rims and 2 new tires. Took the tire to Vital and they took the rubber off the rim and it definitely wasn't corroded. I ran over a metal blade. These guys saved me $1600, kal tire ended up giving me two new tires as well for their dishonesty and covered under warranty. I would recommend Vital Auto repair to anyone in the future and I will be coming back for future work needed.

This place is great! I used to come here with my old car (which they always did a great job on) and with my newer car went to the dealers. I will always drive the extra Km’s to come back to Vital’s. Example: running light on driver’s side wasn’t working, dealership said to fix it could cost up to $500! After doing the oil change, explaining all that was done, insisted on looking at running light, and it’s fixed! They are just that good and fair.

Friendly service. We stopped because there a problem with power and they got to it as soon as they could. They evaluated the problem and waived off the cost for it.

I have a corrola 2003. Alan and D.best automobile doctors, true to their work, friendly and caring. I went for power steering pump change 2 months ago and its runing smooth ever after, they gave me the best service for my first car, moreover, they care with the same feeling as you do.i would go to Vital again for all my future regular oil change or random inspections. No shady work or manipulations i would recommend all car lovers, you can blindly trust these guys (specially first time owners too) as they always do a true scan to your car needs and the BEST JOBS! Personally experienced!

I came here because it was recommended by my friends that have come here for years. I originally brought my car to a Honda dealer because there was a recall for my vehicle. The next week, I noticed that there was a loud rattling sound coming from the back of my car. Took it back to Honda and they quoted me $1100 for a unrelated reason (exhaust pipe completely rusted through and there was an obvious hole in the pipe). I haven't had good experiences with auto shops in the past but I did trust my friend when he recommended I go here. They were kind enough to squeeze me in and the total ended up being less than half the estimated cost compared to Honda. The workers there are really nice - they will also give you a heads up on other things that you may want to consider fixing in the future, which is helpful for me since I don't know much about cars.

I take both of my cars to these guys. Integrity comes to mind first. Always fast and always professional. Customer for life! Thankyou vital!

I got pushed around from a few different mechanics in the city, who didn't want to fix the issues on my car, and I had the problem misdiagnosed several times at different places. Brought my car here ONCE, and they fixed the problem in a single day, and for a reasonable price. These guy's don't mess around at all. Great guys, and actually showed me and walked me through at the things that they fixed. Highly recommend this place.

These guys are the best! They are really helpful with explaining what they will be working on and give good advice. I never feel pressured to get more work done than can I afford at once and they always seem to do their best to save me money (I have an old car!). They are really accommodating and have strong customer service skills. As someone who doesn’t know cars really well, I never feel like I’m being taken advantage of as they provide options to save costs and I have the choice as to what I want to prioritize. Highly recommended!

I was recommended by a friend to check out this place as they've been here many times and were always satisfied with the services received. After a TERRIBLE experience with Wolfe Subaru on Boundary, whom seem to just ask me to dump $$$ time and time again, I decided to give Vital Auto a shout to see how they can help me. I spoke with Allan and after his initial diagnostic, he presented me with many options to fix the issues with the car ranging from the worse case scenario to the best case scenario. Allan's had his best interest with me the entire process and he found the most cost-efficient way to repair the car without sacrificing quality. I really appreciate how transparent and direct Allan was throughout this entire repair. Wish I came to this Gem first. HIGHLY recommend!

Been here twice. Both experiences were excellent. They worked with me on figuring out the problem instead of offering up some nonsense and replacing a part I don't need. Brian Jessel BMW on Boundary takes my ride for a full diagnostic test. They tell me I need a servomotor or a whole new transfer case.we are talking about $1000 or $8000.it's a 6 speed X3 with ZERO Issues.do a little research, turns out the transfer case on the X3 has a common issue which is a plastic gear wheel in the transfercase actuator that wears from the metal screw that operates it. Allan at the shop did a diagnostic test and a little research on his own, AND proactively had the part brought in for me. Had it replaced in 2 hours. That alone sums it up. Honesty and genuine give a F is where I think people should bring their business. If i had twitter. Brian Jessel BMW should publicly be recognized for this type of business culture.
