Viva Cafe & Bakery

The BEST CROISSANTS in the city! I’ve eaten many croissants in my life and nothing else in town comes close. The butter croissant was the best I’ve ever had. The bilayer pain au chocolat was perfect. The morning bun, pain au raisin, and pain suisse were all fantastic. Chef Daniel has really outdone himself.

I've been to this place twice already. They serve a mouthwatering pesto chicken sandwich and create a wonderful ambiance. However, one peculiar observation was that the sandwich appeared significantly smaller the second time I ordered it compared to the first. I'm unsure if they intentionally reduced its size to cut costs, but it was definitely not the same size as before.

Delicious coffee and to die for pastries right by the beach. Even if there is a line up it's worth it and moves fast. Highly recommend!

Best cafe in the city! I get my coffee here whenever possible and I'm not even a local. The baked goods are to-die-for and the baristas are super cute

Great coffee spot. Delicious coffee, friendly staff and the food is excellent - especially the mushroom romesco sandwich and the rhubarb eclair.

Visited here many times whenever goes to Kits. Best cappuccino in Vancouver for me. It is a good location for people who want to grab a cup of coffee for the beach too. I recommend a hot small-size cappuccino.

Probably the best savoury scone I've had in my life, and I sure have had a lot!

As I've recently returned to Vancouver after spending the last decade in the UK, I became too familiar with Gail's Bakery cheese and chive scone, but for the money, Viva Cafe's bakery really take the 'scone' not to mention the enormous size, flavour, moistness.just go get one.

The coffee is excellent too, and the staff seem genuinely interested in quality-produced beverages whether to sit in or take away.

Happy Viva Cafe & Bakery are my 'local' cafe.

Very, very friendly and attentive staff, makes sense why this cafe is a hit. The coffee is decent, and the paninis are pretty good as well. Nice location close to the beach but parking can be a little bit tricky.

Such a nice comfortable cafe. And being so close to the beach, the day is made perfect with a cappuccino and a stroll.
