Viva Mexicana

Went there for take out tonight. Ordered a chimichanga. It was pretty soggy and not very warm and the rice was super cold and not very good. Only good thing was the beans. I have ordered this a few times now and this time was super bad. Not too pleased. Don't think I'll be back i wouldn't waste your money. But definitely try Bun Ta Pho and Sushi. You will not be disappointed.

The atmosphere is calm, the food is good and the portions are good.
The tacos were simple, the chimichanga had a better presentation.

Great place. Everything's greats the prices are a lil high but the chimichangas are the bomb yo. Definitely going back again.

The enchiladas were dry with not much sauce
I found it a bit expensive, we paid $16 for two Corona beers and it wasn't cold

I ordered takeout and I ended up being late to pick it up, they re-made my chilaquiles so they were fresh at no cost! And the food was delicious! Great customer service.

Over priced for what you get. I ordered street tacos and received mini kids size tortillas with a table spoon of meat on each. A tiny sauce container for $16 not worth it
Place is run down. Good in a pinch I guess, but will not be going back

I only ate pork (pastor type) and chicken tacos.
They are small but well served, the sauce IS spicy!?

This place is absolutely amazing. I wish there was a way I could transport it back to my home. I ordered the burrito and it was massive. 100% the best burrito I've ever had by a long shot. Staff was very friendly, I will come here every time I come to Vernon area.
Check your expectations at the door, this is a small mom and pop shop. There's a very small seating area, and part of the frontage is used for storage. It is and it isn't a sit-down restaurant, You order at the desk and pay then.
So so so good.

This place was amazing! Friendly service that cares about what they are doing. Great food! Vegetarian options! I'd highly recommend anyone driving through the area to make this a stop.

Very tasty, delicious! Please don't try always burritos, take a chance into chilaquiles. Which are a very iconic and truly mexican dish in Mexico, the green salsa was astounding! I will happily go back soon!

Great little place, it’s got an authentic Mexican feel and taste! The burrito was big and delicious, not as sloppy as others I’ve had and had a good amount of taste. Not too spicy. In fact, just right!

The churros are a tad too pricey for what you get but they do taste like the “real thing”!

Spanish is spoken here and there great Mexican music playing while you enjoy your meal at one of five tables.

I used to work at this restaurant for 3 years when Donna was owner, just orders enchiladas and got stale chips in my side of beans alll the food is cold and virtually no sauce on the enchiladas, they also were out of a bunch of stuff and had no caramel sauce for the donut Like they used to…

Great spot and great value. We had the beef burrito and chicken enchiladas with red sauce, and highly recommend both. Also, the churros are a must!

I loved my experience at Viva Mexicana. It is a small intimate place. The food was amazing I will definitely be back!

We enjoyed lunch at this Mexican restaurant. The food tasted like it was prepared in-house rather than sauces from a can, etc. This is quite a bit better than the average Mexican restaurant. However, rice could be better. The black beans were excellent.

Food is good but prices are becoming unreasonable. $18 for a burrito (with no sides) is extreme.

Food looks great. The flavour needed some excitement like lime. Extremely dirty ceiling with dust bunnies blowing in the breeze.

Popped in for a Saturday lunch, first time here. Absolutely delicious! We will be back! Remember how Hectors Casa USED to be? It’s that good and more here, highest recommendation.
