Viva Mexico Restaurant

Came in very hungry and high expectations of this place and it let me down. I got these chips that were given to someone prior. It still had soggy chips there and some still had bite marks.the food was microwaved.if the plate is hot means? The tortillas ends on my enchiladas was hard. Like you know, when you put them in the microwave a couple of times. Service was awesome and the place looks nice.

I was so excited for this place but my service was not good and when I didn’t like my drink the guy asked me why? And was very rude and I’m not a mean person my friend had to step in and take over will not go again.

My first visit and I felt like I was in Mexico, when friends saw my posts they thought so too. The vibes were great, the drinks were cold and the food was really tasty. All the staff were happy and we had a wonderful time! Will definitely be back!

Salsa was very watery enchiladas have very little filling, Used to be my favourite Mexican restaurant around! Won’t go back now!

Tacos were not spectacular.typical. Busy at this time. No napkins or plastic cutlery offered.had to go back and asked.

Everything was very good, just as an observation they should check their chairs since my friend fell silent because the chair was broken

I at at this place with my friend for lunch yesterday and had diarrhea 6 times by midnight. My friend said she was on the toilet when I was testing her about it.
And she had to go twice while getting her nails done after lunch. I barely made it to the washroom twice during my walk.
And if that want bad the food was honestly the worst I’d ever had. Not sure what the hell cam in the enchiladas but there was nothing barely in them and the tacos we charged were same thing.
I would be ashamed to serve good like that to my customers!
Couldn’t pay me to eat there! Probably the second worst food I’ve eatten in my lifetime and I’m 51!

The food here is mediocre. We ordered one plate of enchiladas and one pork burrito and they looked the same. The restaurant was empty and yet we still waited a long time for our food. The service was friendly but as the music was too loud and the food was just okay, I would not return.

Nice atmosphere, authentic food, excellent service. Perfect place to have Mexican date or family gathering

This place is great for big parties and the service is excellent. I also enjoyed the live music.

Ambience is great. Service was quite poor, at least what we received from Amanveer Singh tonight.
1. We asked for 6 glasses of water at the start. They didn't come. When asked in the end, he only brought 3 glasses. I mean c'mon if you have to ask for water 3 times, that's just sad.
2. He picked up the plate from the table that I was eating off of without asking. Basic etiquettes missing. A simple question whether I can pick up this plate or are you done with this, doesn't hurt!
3. One person from our table ordered club soda, which he completely forgot about and then 20 minutes later he comes back saying they are out of club soda and then took another 20 minutes to bring iced tea.

Very unprofessional and unwilling to take feedback. When feedback was given he got very defensive and was quite un appreciative over all.

Even with Covid and restrictions happening we were able to sit on the patio and enjoy a delicious meal! The drinks were awesome and service was friendly. I look forward to going back when the bands are back playing and the surrounding area comes back to life post Covid

Do yourself a favor and skip out on this spot. Ordered 4 taco plates, jalepeno poppers, cheese poppers/sticks and 5 drinks. The tacos had very very little meat, tastless meat at that. The rice was very dull the refried beans tasted like they came out of a can. The cheese sticks were ok i guess but not even hot enough to melt the cheese inside, same for the jalapeno poppers. My specialty drinks 2 virgin ceasers 1 virgin pina colada and 2 strawberry jarritos never arrived. Now this order was placed on skip the dishes so I have to rely on them to fix the drinks, unfortunately we submitted our review before we ate as we were upset when we saw the expensive drinks were left out. This place is definitely on my list of restaraunts to avoid post covid.

Great cozy atmosphere!
Very clean, we enjoyed our drinks out on the padio, in the sunshine!
Looks as though they have live music, there's a little stage inside.
When all the pandemic is over we would love to enjoy some live music here!

The mains them selves were great but I was pretty annoyed with how terrible the cheese sticks were (like no cheese, cold, and hard) didn't have guac like I think the menu says they should come with. Had to go back when picking my order up because they forgot one of my sides, and they didn't have the dipping Sauce in my curros.

So like. I'll probably go again but I'll for sure check every one of my orders for how annoying this was.

Worst food I have ever had at a restaurant. Food (if that's you want to call it) was soggy, the beef and chicken used for ingredients probably came from a can of wet dogfood. I gave it a 2nd star due to the amazing Mango Marguerita they serve. Go for the alcohol, have the overpriced dogfood food at your own peril.

If you’re looking for unreal margaritas and big portions this is the place! Never had a bigger drink in my life for an unreal price. Love this place, staff was great, and the vibe and setting is amazing. 110% recommend this place

Quality has really declined. Quesdilla consisted of dry shredded chicken with virtually no seasoning, the shrimp in the enchiladas were tiny and of freezer bag quality. Rice and refried beans were good though. Decor is really nice and colourful. Service is friendly. But there are way better Mexican restaurants in the area.

Sooooo disappointed! Ordered from Viva Mexico and could have done better making it myself. Hard Rice, tasted like canned refried beans, tiny half filled salsa containers, brown guacamole and greasy over fried chimichanga. Will NEVER order here again!
