Great dealership and company. I’ve had the pleasure of dealing with Mike Lee (sales) and Param (finance). Super friendly vibes, accommodating, and don’t waste time. While not a Volvo enthusiast myself and was there to buy a pre owned vehicle, Mike and param definitely have the ability to convert customers into Volvo enthusiasts.

Had a scheduled phone call that was never followed through with. After contacting the sales department they informed me that they were unable to call as the were busy in store, didn't even receive a simple text message informing me. When I spoke with Frank the sales manager and asked for some basic respect, he refused to even acknowledge or apologize for the situation. Zero accountability from these people. Waste your time somewhere else

George was great to work with when buying our cars. The whole team from insurance and finance was terrific. We have always had great service from David and Mike when bringing our cars in for service. The new location is lovely. We will definitely be using them in the future.

I have had my Volvo V40 serviced exclusively by Volvo Cars for 21 years. The result is a smoothly functioning vehicle that is much like new! This is thanks to the very efficient Service Adviser David Watkins, and the mechanics that work on my car.
Today, I was particularly impressed with the wash and cleaning that made the car look like new.
I also very much appreciate the Uber service provided.

Generally okay car buying experience though they never gave me my promised $500 gas card and eventually just stopped returning my calls (and this is after my spending $60k on a used 2020 S90). So take any offers like that with a grain of salt.

I wanted to buy a hybrid XC60 and visited Volvo Richmond last weekend as my first stop, it became my last stop. I didn’t want to visit other dealers at all and made deal with them quickly. Easygoing, professional and pet friendly. We feel very relaxing and nobody will push you to make your decision. Their suggestions are very helpful and reasonable. All started fine when Mr. Song replayed to my email regarding an used car I was interested to purchase for my teen son. Frank helped in showing us the car and we reached a deal. Just because we declined the offered OPTIONAL extended warranties the finances lady (can't recall her name) was very rough and sarcastic with us; very mean answering our questions, feeling like she just wanted to finish the paper work and had us kicked out of her office.
Our family companies lease and buy vehicles for business and personal use very often, we know how difficult is to do business these days, proper training of personnel is the key for a company to success.
Five starts for the sales personnel (Mr. Song reply to me during his long weekend holiday) and one star (actually zero) for the grumpy finances lady.

They have to understand that an experience of buying an expensive car starts the moment you walk through the door.

Anna Zhu is definitely the best auto salesperson I have ever met, Anna answered my questions very well throughout the car buying process and I believe got me the best car purchase price. Anna can not only communicate effectively in Chinese and English proficiently, but also understands all aspects of Volvo, and can answer my questions about the Volvo XC 60. I would recommend Anna to anyone I know who is looking to buy a car, especially a Volvo car.

Walked in passively considering a used car I saw they had on Autotrader. Walked out with a brand new XC60 electric. George the sales rep patiently walked me through a wide variety of used and new car options, test drives and pricing tradeoffs. Zero sales pressure, just helpful advice and answers to questions. Very easy and painless experience. There are plenty of post purchase options to consider. Don't let your negotiation guard down after you've bought your car. The processing and insurance options come next)

I went for annual service on a super chilly day with my 18 mon baby with me. Also it generally takes 3-4 hours to finish maintenance as it was a busy season, which means I have to spent a long time in a -4 deg.ouside since I dont want my baby to  bother other customers in the office and Cov19 pandemic does not allow us to stay in other stores for too long. The adviser noticed our difficulties right away and discussed possible priorities with the shop manager quickly and managed shortening the service time to 2 hours.
Later after we came back in one hour, my baby felt cold and started frustrated.the adviser noticed we staying outside and came out and offered us a private office so I could take care my baby in warm environment. I took it and easily calmed down my daughter with food and videos. I am so happy my baby stayed warm and safe while we didnt make others uncomfortable.

I would like to say special thanks to the adviser Mike.the whole service department are all nice and polite but what he did makes me feel extremely warm and I feel lucky that I made right choice when choosing brand and dealer.

5/5 for the new car sales experience. I'm a hard negotiator and Michael worked with me patiently to come to a deal that I was happy with.

2/5 for the service experience, now that I've had my first service interaction.

They found and fixed *an* issue, so that's good, but I'm not sure *the* issue I came in for has been fully resolved. But I get it, vibrations are sometimes hard to track down.

But I was surprised that the car didn't even receive a basic wash before being returned, and there were big white wax markings left on the tires and wheels that I had to scrub away myself with detergent at home.

The facility and interaction also didn't strike me as fitting that of a luxury brand. Maybe I missed it, but I didn't see much of a waiting area to speak of. At check-in, I also didn't even get what I'd consider basic asks, like "Are you waiting for the vehicle? Do you need a ride somewhere? " At pick-up, I stood at the counter and waited, and waited, and waited without so much as an "I'll be with you in a moment" until the one guy was completely done having conversations with parts and whatever else.

It all seemed a very economy-brand experience, though even my less luxurious vehicles have at least always received a wash as part of the service appointment, and there's always been at least a shuttle, even though I was okay walking to the Canada Line in this case.

I'd come back for sales, but probably not for service.

2022/01/25: Updating the service experience to a 1/5 as I've finally had my issue properly resolved at another Volvo dealership after involvement from Volvo corporate - and the solution was actually simply re-doing what Volvo of Vancouver did poorly.

Volvo of Vancouver has a road force balancer, but apparently is too lazy or inept to use it properly as they left one of my wheels, by their own admission on my service invoice, "out of spec. " The other dealership's service manager was confused as to why a service department would send a vehicle away like that as they also have a road force balancer and were able to bring the wheel well within spec, and the driveability difference is night and day.

Also docking my overall rating to 1/5 because there's a clear lack of management oversight and nobody has cared to reach out.

I was in the market for a S60 or XC40 for several months and Volvo of Vancouver provided by far the best experience out of all the dealers I interacted with. Dustin was quick to answer my initial questions. Sam was thorough and collaborative throughout the vehicle search and negotiation steps. And Natalie was helpful and informative when securing financing. At no point did I feel pressured into a decision. Overall, I had a great experience at VoV and would highly recommend them!

My dealer is Mike Lee, his explanation is very clear and helpful to our family and easily we choose XC90 2019.

The certificated used car gave me trust.
Actually, the car is very clean and have savvy technologies.

I will also choose VoV and Mr. Lee at the next car replacement time.

I recently bought a Volvo SC40. Frank, the sales manager was very friendly and helpful. He provided all the information and organized and took care of everything. The salesperson, Sam was very thorough and provided full customer service. He was quick to respond to enquiries and went over all the features and how to operate the car. He spent over an hour to go over all the details of the vehicle. Frank gave us a great deal on the car. The financial manager, Natalie was also very professional and thorough in explaining the best financing options for us. We would like to thank the team at Marine Volvo for the excellent buying experience and service we received on our purchase. We definitely recommend them to anyone who wishes to purchase a Volvo or any other vehicle they may have available.

Came in to the dealership as I am looking for a vehicle. Met with Lloyd (General Sales Manager) and he helped me in finding the best vehicle for what I need. Then I met Natalie (Finance Manager) who was super helpful. I was even hesitant to apply for the loan as I am new to Canada. She was super friendly and was amazing. At first I was thinking I might not get approved and hours later she told me I got the approval and I didn't even expected it to be prime. I was so happy knowing I got the approval and just cheered on my desk while everybody got shocked about the cheer. Natalie, showed me protection plans and warranty that would work best for me to give me peace of mind while driving my car for 84 months. She was very knowledgeable and experienced. I finally took delivery of the car today and I am super happy. Thanks to Gilles (Asst Sales Manager) who helped me with the delivery. I highly recommend this dealership if you are looking for new or used car! It was the best car buying experience!

I bought my first car from a salesman named George. I was really suspicious if there was anything sketchy going on with the car, however, I now trust Volvo of Vancouver. Especially after meeting their General Sales Manager Lloyd who made sure that I was satisfied with my purchase. 10/10 would come back to do business with these guys again, thank you! Oh and I'm really happy with my purchase.

We have dealt with this auto dealer on two separate occasions over the last 7 years in search of quality pre owned vehicles. Both times we landed with them because they had better product, reasonable prices and we appreciated their fair, forthright approach during negotiations. They built trust by standing by their product when we had to consider trading it back into them and generally they have been reasonable, patient and considerate throughout our decision process.

Very nice cars!
But the sales experience was not good at all. They didn't want me to try the demo car and gave me a low ball offer on my Dogde Journey 2015 with low mileage. They said no discount on the new car and 4-5k for my Dogde! (this car was 14k last summer.)
Why even offer to trade it in?

I'll try a different Volvo or go for a different brand.

We booked a test drive with George Siu, and when we arrived the car was ready for us in the parking lot and George gave us the key and went for a test drive. Didn’t have to wait, didn’t get the unnecessary sales pitch or fancy talks, he just asked us if we had any questions.
Throughout the process we never felt unnecessarily pressured, and learned a lot about Volvo cars.

What I appreciated most was that even after the deal was signed, George still put a lot of time and effort into working with us up to the delivery and beyond. He even showed up on his day off to make sure the everything was good till we drove off the showroom.
Got an amazing vehicle with low km and extended warranty for a really affordable price.
Altogether great place and people to do business with. Super satisfied

An iconic car Volvo XC70, I always had an eye on it. I was very lucky to find this 2014 XC70 wit a low milage (65.800 kms) and well maintained. All the members of the team were excellent especially Sam Song who sold it to me. It is a pity that Volvo does not make XC70 anymore, well I am sure and hope they will come up with EXC70 (I just made it up). Oops I forgot to mention the price was very good too. Start wondering!

Volvo Vancouver is by far a first class dealership! “CLIENT CARE” takes precedence over typical customer “service” at Volvo Vancouver! The general manager Lloyd Yee takes a personal interest in clients whether purchasing a new car or a pre-owned vehicle. The ‘number one sales specialist’ Thomas Crozier who I was lucky to first meet upon my phone inquiry then later at the dealership is “THE BEST”! Sincere, accommodating, helpful and genuine. I shopped for weeks looking to purchase a good pre-owned vehicle visiting many dealers. I knew when I met Thomas and finding the exact car I wanted that I wasn’t going to the next dealership. I didn’t buy a Volvo which goes to show the trust I had in Thomas as well as the attention I received purchasing a pre-owned vehicle. After meeting Lloyd and Thomas.my next vehicle may just be a Volvo! I highly recommend visiting Volvo Vancouver for first class client care by Thomas and Lloyd!

Recently bought a certified pre-owned car and our experience couldn't have been better. To be honest we hadn't considered a Volvo at first, but after the superior customer service, test drive experience, and seeing the quality, safety, comfort, and equipment of the car, we couldn't consider anything else!

Our sales advisor Michael was awesome from the beginning, always with a smile and very patient answering our numerous questions at all times.

My wife and I had a FANTASTIC experience at Volvo Vancouver. Last weekend we purchased a 2020 Volvo XC 90 Inscription. The overall experience from the minute I walked through the showroom door, was first class. Courteous, professional, kind, are a few words to describe our standout sales person Michael Huang. Michael is the real-deal. He is truly an expert in his field. A cut above the rest!

Let me prelude this review by stating that I did not finance/lease a vehicle from this dealership.yet

My Wife and I have had our sights set on the XC models for quite some time now and will soon be in the market to be in the driver seat of one these beauties when we start adding to our family. Since we've got the time now, we decided to visit the Volvo of Vancouver this past weekend to check out first hand the different models and to possibly even test drive them and narrow down the choices to one we'd want to commit to eventually.

When we arrived to the dealership, we were promptly greeted by Sam Song. Now, knowing that my Wife and I knew we weren't signing anything at the end of the day, we wanted to be courteous of his time, so I let Sam in on our little not so secret, secret, but this didn't phase him the least bit and he still offered his assistance and if he could be of any help, to just let him know. We did have some initial questions right away and yea, we were thhaaattttt couple and even asked if we could test drive some cars to get a real feel of which one would be best for us. Sam happily accepted our request and ended up letting us test drive 3 cars! Knowing that we weren't going to sign anything with him that day but giving us all his time and answering all our questions is legit the definition of great customer service, so experiencing this only further solidified our preference to the Volvo brand.

After checking out the cars, we also wanted to know in general what the numbers would look like to budget accordingly, so then came in Frank Tzou, Sam's Manager. He took over and started to give us the rundown on numbers. Let me tell you, the numbers he was quoting us were good enough for us to want to break out of our current lease that we still had 4yrs left on and jump ship over to Volvo right then and there! Frank was super professional and courteous throughout the interaction and if not for the fact that there were aspects beyond his control and there being too many things that needed to fall in place perfectly for this to happen as smooth and seamless as possible, we'd sign right away! Just bad timing is all. Frank wasn't sour about it and handled the interaction professionally, which was very much appreciated. He was pretty frkin close, i'll tell you that much.

Overall, the experience was such a great one and truly a cut above the rest. The reason I'm writing this review is simply because the only differentiating factor that would make anyone choose one dealership over another is simply its customer experience and I can confidently say that Volvo of Vancouver has won our business! We will be back and we will be signing with them once our need for the upgrade nears. We were also asked to write a review for them. LOL to which I happily accepted though!

Anyone that's reading this and is in the market NOW for a new vehicle, go see Sam and Frank. Your experience will be as described above.

Side note: Just some food for thought for the dealership. I had noticed while my Wife and I were waiting for the numbers to be crunched that the waiting area is a bit outdated TBH. I personally don't care for it and won't a factor that makes or breaks my decision, but since the demographic is as you guys mentioned, more geared towards the senior and/or moderate/high income earning clientele, should not the decor of your dealership also reflect this? The leather on the couches were legit breaking apart, the sofa was wobbly and there was no offer of any beverages while we were waiting. Lucky for you guys, I was not thirsty and probably would've said no anyways. But the principle of it. The cars are obviously where the spotlight should be, but I believe the attention to this small of a detail will for sure add to the overall experience, especially for those who are used to or have that expectation of a more pampered experience.

We purchased our 2020 XC40 from here. We built in in December of last year and picked it up in May. Our sales representative, Gill, was very helpful in facilitating the transaction all the way through to delivery. I was arriving from Ontario and given a loaner a week before my car was set to be delivered so that I would have a vehicle. That is the type of service that you call "above and beyond". Similar to world class vehicles, purchasing a Volvo from Volvo of Vancouver comes with world class service.
