Happy with every single dishes and drink that we ordered today. The waitress was nice as well.

My friend and I were just killing some time before an event and decided to check out this place. We had some wine and the warm cauliflower dip. It was delicious! It's one of my favorite things now. Great wine too. Reasonable prices. I will definitely be going back to try the charcuterie plates.

Incredible food, wine and atmosphere. We were here from out of town for a private event and it was probably the best food I had while in Vancouver. Highly recommend!

VV Tapas Lounge crafts one of the best charcuterie boards in Vancouver, and they have a $10 version during Happy Hour! This spot is easy to miss on Hastings Street just before Downtown, but it's worth swinging by for a great wine and food selection.

The Wild Mushroom Risotto is incredibly decadent and packed with umami mushroom flavour. The yolk sauce really ups the richness. This is a must get dish for me.

One of the highlights of VV Tapas Lounge is their build your own charcuterie boards. You can choose from 4 ($29), 6 ($38) or 8 ($47) cheese and meat options. All boards are served with house-made pickles, nuts, olives, condiments and bread. And let me tell you, as a charcuterie connoisseur they have some of the best accompaniments I have ever had.

Enjoyed dinner here a short while ago. The charcuterie was well paired and the risotto was delicious. The interior is well decorated too

Cute, unexpected place with a whole green wall. Great ambiance, tasty food, and friendly staff. They're able to accomodate for Celiac's and nut allergies which is amazing! Wonderful selction of wine. Perfect for a date, team building, girl's night out, and we've even been to a wedding there!

Cannot say enough good things about this small tapas lounge tucked away in East Vancouver. Innovative tapas-sized bits, perfect for sharing. Amazing curated wine list. Go see Vicky and she'll treat you well! Will definitely recommend and be back.

We had such an amazing experience here! They treated our little family so well, and the food was incredible! The wine pairings were also spot on! We did the dine out menu, and they were able to accommodate all our many dietary needs, it was fantastic! So impressive! They were so wonderful, would highly recommend!

We came for the DOV tasting menu and we loved EVERYTHING. The atmosphere was romantic, the servers were kind, professional & helpful, and the food was mouthwatering. Pictured are our favourites: charcuterie board and warm cauliflower dip. We were very surprised by how much we loved the amuse ginger soup! We will definitely come back.

Recently visited VV Taps as part of dine out vancouver with my 14 month old baby.
The returns was amazing they not only provided the usual high chair but also added a collapsible change table in the bathroom so we didn't need to change her on the floor like many other boutique restaurants.

The staff were all great, they brought our child their own sippy cup and regularly interacted with them, including bringing our child their own amuse bouche.

The food was all delicious and very unique. They were very accommodating of my partner's dietary restriction despite it being a fixed menu for Dine out.

Imagine Dragons on replay, wobbly plates and men wearing He Man shirts that we couldn’t quite read, but really wanted to and tried… but all that just added to an amazing experience and great food. The cherries on the charcuterie board were incredible. Will be back!

This place definitely deserves a 5-star rating! We’d love to visit again and I highly recommend this restaurant especially for private functions.

Communication: I was communicating mainly with Dee since Day 1 of the planning up to the completion of the event. She is very efficient and prompt with responses to emails. Both Dee and Chase were very responsive; all calls and emails were answered in a timely manner.

Service: The service we received was exemplary and truly unmatched. The whole staff were friendly and polite, and our requests were accommodated with no qualms. The restaurant manager, Chase was hands on and ensured that everything was well taken care of.

Ambiance: The restaurant presents as having a stunning mix of eclectic, modern and industrial vibe. Add the exposed elements and reclaimed wood that’s softened by this beautiful ivy garland as accent backdrop. The restaurant’s high ceiling, large floor-to-ceiling sliding doors helped maximize the space and did not make the restaurant feel overcrowded despite the number of guests.

Food: They were generous enough to serve us a total of 7 types of canapés per person and 3 charcuterie wine barrels. Each canapés had its own distinct flavour (they have vegan and gluten-free options), definitely lots of options for the guests to choose from. Kids were served with burger sliders and potato chips. It was an open bar and they offered cocktails, wine and beer from the drink menu. The best part is they adjusted the menu according to our budget.

Parking: The restaurant is situated in the heart of Strathcona and there are lots of street parking. They also have free underground parking which is a plus!

THE best risotto I have ever had and I've been to Italy twice. Absolutely to die for. The food is creative and the flavour combinations are unreal. So much umami. You can tell that their attention to their food is spot on. Great selection of wines and craft beers. Anytime I am in van I always have to stop at VV.

Beautiful spot to enjoy drinks and bites on a date or with friends. Very friendly staff and - great selection of drinks. I live in an apartment above the restaurant and I come down to VV’s all the time. Highly recommend!

This place is a great place to casually sit, drink and socialize with friends. The tapas and shared food was the perfect combination of flavors. The GM Chase was friendly and wowed us with his knowledge and selection of unique wines. Thank you again for the wonderful experience!

Unique cocktails including non-alcoholic ones. Charcuterie board had lots of options and all tasty. Their house made pickles were fun and yummy. Love the decor. Will come again

A hidden gem leading into dt Vancouver. Don't let the neighborhood distract you from this cool tapas bar. A little bit off the beaten track when it comes to locations in Vancouver but not so inconvenient that you should not try it. Everything we ate had a unique and bold flavour. Must haves include the popcorn (Chicago mix made in house), mushroom risotto, and cauliflower dip. Every bite as good as the last. Other items we tried and liked were the sausage brochettes, chefs charcuterie board, and tiramisu (don't skip dessert).

Such a delicious and fun hidden gem! The food was incredible and totally blew us away, mushroom risotto was probably the best I’ve ever had and absolutely can’t wait to go back! Friendly service and all around great dinner!

This place has really developed into something great! Wasn’t a huge fan when they opened but their plates have become so tasty. Lots of vegetarian options too and seafood. The rissotto was our favourite! We ordered a flight of wine and it was such a great price. I love how you can order a glass of any of their wines and there is no price change. Great job vvtapas!

Had my wedding reception here! They were absolutely amazing. So hospitable, amazingly priced, and let us stay later when the reception went a bit longer. Chase is so helpful and responds to questions and comments right away! We also had several people with allergies and they totally adjusted the menu for us. Just overall amazing and all the guests were commenting about it being one of the nicest receptions they've been too. 100% recommend!

You never know what you are going to get when you visit Vancouver. One thing that is always a constant, is great food and great people. I have found them both at this gem of a lounge. From attentive, knowledgable front of house, to the hand crafted delicacies by the chefs in the back. The relaxed atmosphere sets a great tone for a first date or your fiftieth, VV Tapas will not let you down.

I once heard a story while sitting at the bar that one of the chefs has the talent and power to cut fine cuts of meat with his bare hands like Shinogi Kosho, aka, the cord-cutter from Japan. Who can completely butcher an animal seemlessly without any other tools other than himself. Understandably I had to know more, so i hung around and found out there was a Turkey dinner one of the chefs was hosting and knew this had to be the guy. Sure enough through the grapevine, he served up a completely deboned Turkey rolled up with stuffing. Was this all done with his barehands, i will never know, but what i do know is that i believe.

The food here is absolutely incredible! Delicious comfort food, perfect for sharing and enjoying with friends in the wonderful dining area. I would recommend ordering the charcuterie board when visiting. The selection of meats and cheeses are beautifully curated + the pickled fruits and vegetables that come with are always rotating and are always delicious.

What a place. Loved the decor and the food. The wine and service was outstanding. We will definitely come back and this time, we will be bringing our friends!

The food is so consistently delicious and the service is so consistently spot-on - especially with our little toddler keeping the servers on their toes. Their main menu never gets old, but their specials are always surprising and inspiring, continuing to keep us curious for more.

A fantastic spot offering creative seasonal dishes in a relaxed atmosphere. The staff is incredibly knowledgeable and friendly and the wine tasting flights are a thing of beauty.

Amazing food! Holy smokes. I've gone multiple times and each visit has included excellent service, ambiance, and food-they know what they're doing and how to consistently deliver a high quality experience. As for dishes, the risotto and deviled duck egg are incredible. The buttered radishes are unexpected in the best way. And the lamb scrapple.oh my god. I didn't know what scrapple was, took a chance, and was blown away. Cannot recommend VV enough!

The talented interior designer must get so many credits for a great job!
There're so many WOW factors with designs plus such a great staff.
They know what they're offering to their costumers. You can feel all appetizers, food and deserts are not making only with simple ingredients but their chef added LOVE to them to make them amazing.
Congrats to the owner, chef, staff, bartender and last but not least the interior designer.
