The staff was really friendly and helpful. I was trying to find the printer paper upstairs, and they provided directions to find the printer papers on the ground floor near the stationary side.
Came here for toilet paper and to see what toys they had for Christmas shopping with my girlfriend, was then followed by two very obvious loss prevention employees for the entire shopping experience. Don’t wear a hoody and jacket here! They may think you are stealing
I don’t mean to sound racist but I noticed that most of their staff are Indian, I don’t mind that it’s just they’re rude, the geeter at the entance won’t even say hi, good morning or bye, just standing. The Indian cashiers won’t even say Hi or thank you too. I hope they will do a training for them on how to provide a good customer service, otherwise customers buy stuff to other stores.
One of the worst Walmart in BC, forget about the always ripe bananas, disorganized items or the friendly mice that don’t get intimidated by humans anymore they jumps around normal, it’s the young female cashiers attitude, she will be free no clients before you but still they act like you force them to donate a kidney or that this Walmart is their family business no Hi, no how many bags you need, she will give you the look and save all her energy to do the bare minimum, except Annabelle who is amazing at her Job I think their cashiers need more training or to resign if they don’t like doing their Job.
They have a great variety of things, but not in big quantities. And also, shopping carts on weekends are never available, you would be lucky to have a shopping basket. Other than that, they have a lot of different things divided into two floors, with access to the mall. Pretty much they have everything you would need from grocery and clothes department. Don't expect much from pet or Toys departments
Good bargain in the hot food section. You will not find better deal for 6 samosa for 4 or 5 dollars when single are sold or 2$ in other places even not as nice. The sauce is also included. A whole chicken is close to 10$ cooked while save on food sell it for over 12$ even Safeway where I buy rarely I would not even consider buying at the store. Wedge potatoes for 4$ feeding at least two people to the full if not three? Chicken wings and tenders will not be easily beaten either. Save on Food for a few wings 4-5 sell their for close to 5$ and like their potato wedges they look terrible mushy or overcooked! The only difference I may go is when the tenders are real chicken pieces for 6-7$
I love Walmart as they have labels on all food items and perfectly labeled isles with a saperate counter of Indian food and spices. They have Sanjeev Kapoor curry powders and chanki chat masala. Not to forget, Walmart has section for all daily requirements not just groceries
I ordered furniture online and now after 6+ months never got anything and the only excuse is Covid! I understand that covid has changed everything but cirusly The store itself is good. But online app is bad
Only thing good about this location is it's unique design. It has a sort of look and feel of a Target, but slightly lower Walmart prices. The best of both worlds. And then there is everything else. Fix it Jesus.
The place is properly stocked and the staff really knows what are doing when it comes to find anything on the shelves. They also do their best for sanitize everything for the customers. It feels a safe and clean environment.
Harrased and kicked out of the store by undercover "store manager" on Thursday dec 03. I will post updates later. ***Update dec 04*** just contacted the human resources manager whos looking into the situation. Will post more updates as they happen. *** Dec 07 tried contacting manager seems to always be away from the phone, will be contacting higher ups***Dec 17 contact Walmart support and have escalated the issue** **Dec 29 still have not heard back from Walmart management team. Until the please stay away from this Walmart location.
It was a total mess (to be fair, I was there at 9: 30pm on Boxing Day). Still, I could find some good deals and received great service from the clerk at self checkout. I particularly don't like that it's divided in two floors, but at the end of the day, you can find everything you find in a Walmart.
I just bought a shopping cart from their customer service departmen. I opened it in front of them and ask em to give me a hand assembling it no one. Did. No one knew how to. Unbeliavable
The place has very good deals lately. You can save more money than other grocery stores so far. It's usually clean and sanitized as well, 100% recommended.
Worst Walmart in Metro Vancouver, Wrong tag price in products, I've been notice there's employees following customers, it happened to me once, I asked to the manager justified that and he only said.sorry They makes you feel like offender.
DO NOT ORDER GROCERY DELIVERY FROM WALMART! HUGE MISTAKE! Walmart decided to charge my card before they had even picked out my order then when they did pick up my order they were missing a whole bunch of items so my grand total was a lot less than I was charged.well I never received any receipts in my email stating that I was going to get a refund so I had to hunt an agent down myself and they told me rest assured I will have a refund yet I still haven't received it! Not only that they sent me a whole bunch of rotten produce! The delivery driver was rude didn't even knock on my door when he left all my groceries outside of my door and the agents that I've spoken to have been nothing but horrendous! They are rude and have absolutely no knowledge of what they are doing can't answer any of your questions and just lie to you.when I asked what store it was that delivered my groceries she told me it was the Austin store when in fact it was this store the Metrotown store! I've been ordering my groceries deliver to my home via save On foods for as long as I can remember figuring I would give Walmart a shot was a huge mistake they are so far from professional and they've ripped me off now over $35.that might not be much to some people but I'm a single mother and I'd like to hang on to as much money as possible! I also don't appreciate having the wool pulled over my eyes and a big company like Walmart trying to scam their customers. I have never been so disappointed in any service I've ever received from anywhere so here's your warning do not order your groceries online to be delivered to your home via Walmart you will get ripped off and it will not be worth your time go to save On foods instead because they know what they're doing.
A huge store with two levels and easy to access parking. No worries if you ride Transit because they are within sight of the store located close to Metrotown and a variety of other stores for all your shopping needs it's a one stop can't say enough about the variety at Walmart happy shopping and happy holidays. Be safe everyone
The cashiers are not training well, always make mistakes. Wasted our time to resolve in the customer service center. I need to check the receipts every times.
Very very bad! And not only bad, I will never been to walmart anymore. I purchaesd an air fryer on promotion Today, also I got several bags of fries. When I CAME home and so excited to open it and ready to fry my fries. I found this totally a used one, because below the fry pan, a lot of oil there.and on the surface of product, also dirty, LIKE someone touched it with oil finger.sorry I did not take photos because I was really angry.customer service.was not useful and cannot handle issues. They didn't even apologize, they could only say they couldn't do anything about it, and then they refunded it. But I don't really want a refund, I am very, very worried that in the future I will buy things at Walmart that someone else has used and returned, and it is obvious that they have not checked the inside of the product to disinfect or repackage it at all. So if someone buys meat or buys something else, or The last guest used this air fryer, and he has a disease or infection, so what should I do?
So I will never come back to Walmart again, I think they are a big cheat.
Worst customer service ever, tried to return extra can of food I don't need (sealed unopened) with endless hassle. Both superstore and T&T supermarket had no issues taking returns (item probably either got sanitized or returned to manufacturer), but I found Walmart usually tried to weasel out giving refunds. Why not just simply stating "All sales are final! You bought something from us, you are stuck with it! So buyers beware! "
Btw they don't even do ad match anymore! Competitive price? Lol!
Ben in appliances was so helpful and patient.we needed help with blender that there was so display model. He explained everything clearly and we were very impressed with his customer service
I was so disappointed. I was on the self check, waiting for them to sanitize.one coming and I ask them to sanitize, he did not help me instead help other person.one employee come, I asked her to help but she left and tell will be back.she done, but she just go away pretend didn't see me.than I moved to cashier because seem no body want to sanitize. I ask the cashier why you guys did not sanitize everytime one customer done.she said no, we only cleaning up every half an hour.if you concern about health, don't go there.save on and superstore way better.they always sanitize
I normally don't expect too much from customer service workers as i am an empathetic person since i've worked in customer service before, i understand that some days can be stressful. But the encounter i had with one of the employees named john was as bad as it gets. Never have i ever dealt with someone so disrespectful in customer service before, he made it harshly obvious he hated his job and treated me like i was a nuisance for simply asking him to direct me to where the portable chargers are, he took a long sigh and rolled his eyes before telling me where and when i told him i already went to where he said they would be, he rolled his eyes a second time and finally worked up the human decency to take 11 steps to show me where they are. His demeanor and attitude towards me was apauling and i won't be returning to that walmart ever again if that is the kind of employee the hiring managers settle for.
Please keep warnings and walkway signs in the shop in all possible languages and also deploy security store staff in front of every aisle so that the customers follow the instructions and behave accordingly to ensure safety. Today when I came for shopping, either people don’t follow the sign boards because they are busy with their mobile phones inside the shop and are not bothered about any written instructions. Also, many customers don’t even understand English. So, you cannot actually put a sign board only in English and expect customers to follow those. Thanks
I have have been a long time customer of Walmart since they have opened their location in Metrotown, and the way I was treated today was uncalled for.
Long story short, an OSL employee by the name of John was very rude, and disrespectful. When I kindly told him about a device I bought from them didn’t work, the way he treated me was very unprofessional. I fully understand that their is a no return policy at the moment, but the way he spoke with me, and rolled his eyes at me, was completely uncalled for. Customers should be valued, and I hope he doesn’t treat his other customers like this too.
Very uncaring, rigid, argumentative, and dismissive staff. Their answer is usually I don't know, then they try to run away. If you're not happy with a product or their policy and escalate your concern to their supervisor, you get the same thing. I saw a photo of Farid Fazeli, the store manager, near the exit with a phone number. When I called, I found it's just the store number. I talked to "customer service" and asked to talk to him. I was told he's not in and got the usual "I don't know" when asked when he will be. I guess that's why their staff don't care, can be so dismissive, and don't know most things; they have an absentee store manager.
A typical walmart in a two-storey unit, hasnt gone through the modern renovation and revamp yet, which is why some areas are disorganized like any other walmart in Canada in pre-2010.
Arrived at 7pm on Tuesday The set up inside the store is the same as all the other Walmart stores. Pros: There are 4 stalls reserved for online walmart shoppers on the ground floor; all spots were pretty much taken except for those 4 spots furthest from the main doors from the store. I expect that means the employees bring your goods to your car. L1 & L2 were lots of empty parking spots, even near the elevator! Cons: Several staples such as brand name pop for example were not stocked. All the walmart brands were available. I assume that is the marketing plan:
Grat place to do grocery shopping. The self checkout can be a little annoying because you need to put the items on bagging area or machine will go wild. Since it's new, it looks very clean. I think this one is bigger than the one on new west too.
They have something against mirrors in the fashion department at this location. None in the women's department. None outside the change rooms nearby. Didn't see one in the men's department either. You ever tried to get a good, full body look at yourself in your camera?
Seems like this location is just another grocery store. Tools and automotives section has a very poor selection and there was no direction signs to that section. It's on the second floor btw. Other locations are way better.
Clean and light shopping floor. Shopping space is comfortable. Employees are basically nice, friendly, and helpful. Check out speed is fast. Credit cards accepted. Located inside Metrotown shopping mall. Public washrooms available nearby. Free mall parking available.
I approached a member of staff wearing a Walmart Jacket and enquired politely where I should go to get a product I was looking for. This first member of staff pointed me 'over there' and I had to wander off cluelessly to the other side of the 1st floor. I then asked further 4 members of staff where to go. These staff members either didn't understand my simple question or answered very vaguely the answers that I got was"I think should be in hardware somewhere", on my request for calling someone to help me with hardware the answer I got was "I don't work in hardware, I don't know who works" and the best answer I got was: 'I think it's somewhere but I don't know where".
Is this what you call as customer assistance? Walmart unfortunately has over hundreds of people on the floor but no one helps the customer whenever they are in need of any help.
Fairly standard affair Walmart. Good prices on some grocery items compared to other stores.
The electronics department in this location leaves a bit to be desired. There is one guy back there with glasses and some facial hair who is really helpful and friendly, but unfortunately most of the other staff I've run across aren't quite so (for example; not even offering the extended warranty on a gaming console, when we stated at the beginning of the process that we wanted the extended coverage) or the department is just out of stock (not having new movies, on release day)
I made an online order and chose to have it shipped to this store for pickup. The order included tracking, and I understood that I would be emailed by the store when it was ready for pickup. The tracking indicated that it had arrived, and two days passed without word, so I called them and asked if I could pick it up. They seemed very disorganized, but they took my order number and promised to call me back in a few minutes. When no one called, I went down there four days later. They said they couldn't find it. Since almost a week had passed, it was clearly lost, so I asked for a refund. Get this - they said they can't refund my money until they find the package. Think about that for a second. I argued with them and eventually an employee who had been looking for it came out with my package, which someone had written "lost" on in permanent marker. I asked her for it, and she didn't seem sure of whether she could give it to me. She took a photo of my driver's license with her personal phone, then reluctantly handed it over. Surely Walmart can afford to train their staff in some simple procedures, no?
Went today to buy a laptop for my daughter, I received a terrible experience with Rody working in that department! What a rude and unprofessional person. Wal-Mart lost a sale today, went after and bought a laptop From Bestbuy.
Went to pick up my order from Black Friday. Loomis, the carrier that delivered my order to Walmart for pick up said it was delivered. The store couldn't find my order. The manager offered me any $120 item in the store for the price I paid for my item. I didn't want anything and asked for a refund.
Cathy the manager has yet to refund me even though it has been 6 days. It is very disappointing.
Never order anything online from Walmart. Use Amazon instead.
