Great service except dont use fedex SLOW delivery by them. Puralator got here yesterday and fedex not til next week. Puralator left after fedex delivery

Cashier's and supervisors are fighting customers over wrong tags on the shelf like it's going to make a difference in their life. Stop fighting customers and do the right thing damit! Stop listening to the people who will replace you in 5 minutes and do what you know is right! We all work hard for the money we use to buy groceries and when a tag is wrong it's not the customers fault.

Huge, clean and easy to find items with their good signage. I couldn't believe how much I was saving buying my personal soaps, deodorant, teeth cleaning, etc, compared to what I pay at a drug store.

Do not like the set up of self serve check outs. Hire the right number of staff and open more of the regular

I was disappointed to see so many self check outs but have noticed an increase in service in other areas. My only complaint is the constant piling of stock in the middle of isles.

I hate all the self checkouts. So much for helping the local economy. I only go there now if I have too.

Walmart. Set amongst many other stores, this one is big, well laid out, and has a good stock of items. I mean, it's a Walmart, so you know what you're going to find.

Honestly I try to never shop at Walmart, it's not the people or the staff, just the company itself! The staff here are excellent for the view visits I do make, they have bathrooms that typically are busy, it's a supercenter so they sell food, has a McDonald's, eye care service, and travel agency.

They have the best steaks in a box. Almost always tender, always 6 oz each. They have lowered the price to 24.99. A great deal. $2.50 each. They have lots of other stuff too. This store is always clean and tidy.

Put the cash registers back this waiting in line for the fourth time I've been there in the last two months I will not go back to your store put some more cash registers back with a real person having to go through the frustration sucks my time is valuable to me and everyone else is time is valuable to them put the human back in place of self checkout I have sat there and watch the self-checkout system your staff are running their tails off because your system sucks

They have a wide variety of products and reasonable prices but I don't like the fact that they have gone to mainly self serve checkouts cutting down on cashiers.

Our store doesn't seem to have the stock they used to have. The washrooms are in serious need of maintenance.

Has everything. Normally a good place to shop until the last time. Staff member in self check out was rude and condescending when ringing in bananas incorrectly. Plus we were berated with insults because my bf made a comment about the self check out taking away jobs. Management assured us she would be reprimanded. We dont know if she was or not. Attn staff: never insult your customers by calling them names. We spend a lot of time and money in walmart which goes towards paying your wages. Thanks.

This store was not very clean, there were many empty shelves and just to irritate me further they have installed a second bank of self check outs leaving only 8 out of 24 staffed by a human being. With an aging population on the Island we need to stop this trend or soon there will be no human interaction in life at all.

Well stocked and maintained store. With enough staff at the Cash Tills to help customers. All aisles were well stocked.

The new kiosks are pointless. You get checked at the door, they even follow you outside. This company thinks EVERYONE is a thief. Bring back cashiers and stop being cheap!

Sadly they have replaced all the cashiers with automated check outs.the checkouts obtrusively record you’re face on a screen and are considerably slower to get thru ️. Really frustrating if you have produce!

Also heard from friends and family about the responses from complaints.sadly they justify it as their right to record video and they haven’t laid anyone off.unfortunately they seem to have lost touch with the importance of human interactions and customer service.

Won’t be shopping here any more!

Although I never shopped there much anyway, I've stopped going altogether since they put in self serve checkouts. The Walton family are one of the richest on the planet. They can afford to employ people at a decent wage but choose not to. Greed beyond belief.

Just tried my first online order, very impressed! Picked it up today only two days latter and right in front the pick up booth is there. I'll be doing this again, no line ups or crowds. And for GO Pro battery replacements, best price I've seen.

Couldn't get anyone to help me, the worker's were to busy talking to each other. Not enough full service tills open

This Walmart is one of the best walmarts I've ever been in the store was clean everything was accessible and if I couldn't find anything the staff knew exactly where to find it I deftly was shop here again

They couldn't find there own prices online to sell fire logs so they said I can't buy it right now hahahaaha

Shelve under stock, no longer do rain checks, and they store doesn't seem to want customers who use cash to shop at their store. Only good thing is the the Manager Ken is trying hard the keep ship from sinking and tries helping customers when he can.

This morning I called 5 times. The first two I spent waiting more than 20 minutes each Time with phone ringing and no pick up. So I called again. The person was rude and had a bad additude. I asked to speak to seasonal regarding in store stock. Only to be put on hold for anither15 minutes. Then had the same person answer phone and then hang up on me. So called two more times to be hung up on again. By the person working customer service desk. I am appalled and horrified at the customer service skills at the Walmart in Nanaimo BC. Today is. Sept 22 10 59 am.

The Walmart I go to has removed almost all their cashiers and replaced them with self-service check outs. This has slowed down the process considerably. Although I'm not a fan, there doesn't seem to be a good answer. Walmart seems to get busier and busier and they just can't keep up. I'll be going as seldom as possible.

Trying to return an item is horrendous. Only one person to do the return. Waiting. I will avoid Wal-Mart as much as possible.

A good walmart. Always seems to have what I need and if not I ask someone. The customer service has always been good I'm very sad the photo center tontake your kids to get there photos taken is gone tho.

Long long checkout lines! 3 tills open with so far almost 30 minutes and still 2 carts ahead of me.
I will not use self checkout and if this is the new policy to force people to use self check out, I can go elsewhere

The halloween section was a disaster and i feel like there is so much advertized for in store but never in stock

While prices are ok for a family I won't shop here anymore.never enough cashiers on. I don't work there I'm not using self check out. The art ar customer service is lost in this place.

What can you say. The place to go when you need alot of things and have a very tight budget. Like I said five stars.

I just went in knowing where the item was, picked it up and walked back to the quick cash area and out to vehicle. Very quick trip on Thurs.

It'd be nice if they had more than three cashiers on when you got a hundred people looking for a cashier

Affordable pricing, cleanliness is perfect, well organized but unfortunately customer service is not that good and their employees are not friendly

It's nice that at 7am they only turn on half the lights and don't play music as loud till approx 8am. Nice for those who are sensory sensitive.

Store layout was confusing right isles and just feel like I'm taking from the local economy while shopping here. So many cool small businesses around that are thriving for business. Around this supercentre.

Only one in town. Either live it, or hate it. Its Walmart.they are almost all the same. Pretty good produce and food items.

This is what a Walmart should be, the most well stocked on the island, their seasonal and fishing and hunting section are great!
As well the staff are really friendly/helpful!
We travel up from Victoria, and never miss a chance to stock up there.
