I went for replacement ink cartridges for my printer. I had the model number for the type of ink my printer required. I called the sales person to open the lock storage cabinet and we discovered the ink cartridge number. I had written down that was compatible with my printer was not in stock. The employee informed me that a different cartridge number was also compatible with my printer. I trusted he knew what he was talking about so I purchased a colour and a black ink cartridge. When I got home and tried to put them in my printer they did not fit, at all. When I tried to return them. ($70 cost) they would not refund or exchange them. Walmart set because the packages for open they could not except them for refund or exchange! I was furious. It was the salesman’s fault. Unfortunately, he was not there the next day when I try to return them. I was extremely upset and very sad to lose that much money and still not have any ink for my printer. The customer service people were very rude, dismissive and condescending. Terrible way to treat a 13 year weekly customer. I will find somewhere else to spend my money.

Single bike rack in front is always full. Install more! Baskets are impossible to find. Can’t take a cart out to the parking lot. Always a line for the self-checkouts where some are always out of order and you have to do their work yourself. Only ever 1-2 cash registers open. Ugh.

It is incredibly difficult to navigate and it's understaffed with NO express line for people with 16 items or less like everywhere else. They need to implement some kind of directory for the layout of the store. I walked around for 15 mins trying to find light bulbs, walked another 10 trying to find an employee. Eventually got in the customer service line for 15 mins and got my answer. Then got to checkout for another 15 mins
A 5 minute task took over an hour.

Does this place have range? Absolutely.does this place have variety? Somewhat.does it have what you need though? Probably not.they definitely have the staple essentials, but across niche needs, you’ll probably need to settle for an alternative.also, their drugstore section is always about 60% stocked.do with that information what you will, prices are still cheaper than most grocery stores at the heart of DT.

(get your niche goods at another grocer (asian grocers etc), come here for the essentials)

Do you need stuff? This place probably doesn’t have what you are looking for. What you will get though, is sensory overload. Do you need to be knocked down a peg? Cold hard slap back to reality? Patience tested unmercifully? Go to this Walmart. I guarantee if you go there to get any every day item, they will not have it for some unforeseen reason, the escalators will be broken for the 8th time that week, and a small child will be standing in the middle of parking lot blocking cars completely unattended. 5 stars. Great people watching.

I'm extremely disappointed with the search toy section at Walmart in Dufferin Mall. Whenever I visit, it's always empty and devoid of any decent selection. It's really unfortunate that a store in Canada's largest city can't seem to keep up with demand or provide a pleasing experience for its customers. I rarely find anything that I'm looking for, and it's very disheartening to leave empty-handed every time. I strongly suggest that Walmart rethink its strategies and improve the availability and variety of its toys, or else it risks losing customers like myself.

I went to wallmart today and downstairs in the tv section I asked a guy named karis or chiris to help me as I had a question about e TVs on sale on the floor. He had three clients before me whom he served cordially. When it reached to me he was like I am doing you a favor by going to those TVs on the floor, it’s not really my job and he already had an attitude. He kept turning back saying someone is calling his name and I told him no one is calling him because he is helping a client. The two other females customer service agents were free in their counter outside the photo cubicle so clearly no one was calling him. I asked him if he is feeling bothered helping me select a tv and he was like if you have any more questions just check online, very dismissive and rude. He had on dirty hair locks and he still had an attitude. Sometimes it’s a black thing, him being black and me the same, he feels he should not accord me the same customer service he gave his previous clients who were definitely none white. I needed up not buying the TV on sale but bought a few things upstairs and bumped into the manager, Ms. Nashveen. I explained to her what happened and she said there’s not much she could do because downstairs the electronics staff are a third party to Walmart. She said it’s not the first time they are receiving complaints from that section and still nothing can be done. She encouraged me not to write this review based on ‘ nothing will happen to the employees anyway’. The customer service black guy who served me today when you see this, you know who you are. Please stop leaving I. The slave mentality and treat all your clients the same despite their race and maybe look in the mirror. Thank you for spoiling my shopping experience at Walmart dufferin. Shame on you but maybe not, that’s why you work at Walmart.

Great store, large super center, taxies outside if needed, good prices and staff plus McD for a light meal or coffee, other businesses available in same mall.

I bought some stake today and this is literally what it looked like! Who does that! This is disgusting! And the smell is horrible! Like really? ! The first two look ok and the the rest look like this! I’d never ever go there again! And I’m definitely going to report this! This is a health hazard and literal fraud!

Not the best place. Not the worst Walmart either but the clerks at the photo counter are really needing customer service training. Rude and condescending doesn't really cover how bad they are.

Walmart is another must visit when I visit Toronto. I like being able to get almost everything in one store.

Seema like it is been upgraded / renovated but the self serve photograph printing closes at 9 although the store opens until 11. Doesn't make sense

Great store almost all the things you need and great variety. It was neat and easy to find things in such a big store

Worst place to shop it hard to find the things you looking for they dont carry a wide variety of vegetable and it always look old and not fresh they have the worst employee ever bad attitude and not polite and rude

I would have given the Walmart (Dufferin mall) a 1 star less than 2 months ago as you are likely not to find 70% of the items you need in the store, so crowded, staff not coordinated, no proper description for items on the aisle, bad produce etc but there has been a significant improvement, the store has undergone a massive renovation and more products are being introduced and you are sure of getting most of the items you need. Renovation is not yet completed but it’s much more better now. I hope you can keep the tempo up and please make sure your produce is fresh.

Walmart has always been known to have really low prices for the same items somehow but this is a trade off for service. I have come to this Walmart more than once with the intention of buying just 1 item because it was listed as available on the website but when I came here, I just could not find it. I approached different staff on different occasions for it but was told that it is unavailable and the website quantity remained the same, available for sale. The response given most of the time is that it can be found at aisle no. XX and when I get there, it isn't there so upon asking again, the final response is that if it is not there, it is sold out.

Don't get me wrong, if you know what you want, and have patience to search for it, Walmart is a great place to shop, just that customer service is not their strong point, I reckon the staff probably has a lot of work to do and when customers ask them stuff all the time, it's frustrating.

They do run frequent offers on household items and food items so that is a big plus. This is a Supercentre, which means that they are a large outlet with very comprehensive list of items on sale. They do have interesting items on sale which is not listed on their website so it's good to be physically there to shop so that you can find the items you need at better prices. They do sell one dollar chocolates imported from Switzerland which is really good value.

I wish Walmart had security or even better a police officer at the front of the store. Because people park right in front or near the entrance with a passenger. Cars like this stay parked indefinitely and you can't bring your car to load your shopping into the car. Because the space is blocked by the parked car. Neither can a taxi come their. Walmart carrs get locked if you go a short distance. Either stop locking the carts from going further or make sure only cars being loaded are allowed in front of the entrance. This problem needs to be addressed ASAP.

There are employees who can tell you what is located where, but most of employee has no clue, sounds like they never do house hold shopping themself.

Renovations are nice, but the layout of it on the upper floor not so much. Could be much better laid out but then again not expecting too much cause it is a Walmart. It serves all your needs as well as with every other Walmart so it’s still good for that, just get ready for a bad layout.

This Walmart is unorganized and the staff are rude! Asked my brother to pick me up something so he went. He said the item was not in the usual spot and had to get staff to assist him but they couldn’t even help. Then he waits in line for a staff to tell him that he had to go to the back of the line even though he was next to be served.

A giant store with lot of options to buy from groceries to household items. Only thing irritating is the staff who bug you to buy the Walmart card at the billing counter.

Walmart has almost everything from meat and organic foods to paint, sewing and gardening supplies. My only major problems with Walmart is that their online shopping is extremely complicated and slow (you only find out after you pay that your may take weeks to arrive) and that Walmart, owned by American billionaires "the Waltons", can destroy local businesses who can't compete with their low prices.

Not necessarily their fault, but low stock in men's basics during the covid Reno.only small Hane's tank tops had a piece of shipping tape (origins unknown) inside the package. Just be wary of clothing essentials, everything else seemed fine.

This Wal-Mart is managed by Indians. Everything is unprofessional and looks like a third world. I find it unfair that most of the shoppers are Latinos, Arabs and African but all of their employees are indian. Very rude and unprofessional staff, you can't ask them anything. The way it is managed, this store will run out of business.

Visited this Walmart many times but after reopening this was my first visit new layout and its great very spacious

The store does not have the selection as other superstores have but still are able to get what you want and exit without a problem

Normally I go here without an issue quite often. It's your average Walmart really. However I'm giving this a one star due to a seemingly new change in policy. I noticed signage of needing to produce a reciept to see if someone is stealing. Which w/e that's fine. However what I don't appreciate and am extremely annoyed by is one of your employees assuming I was stealing and chasing me across the store to checkout. Assuming customers are going to steal is wrong. I don't appreciate this treatment.

I tried calling to find out if they sell firewood but they just pickup and hangup the phone twice lol, guess i'll do business elsewhere ‍️

A new improved wal-mart. It looks great but it will take time to adapt. Custom Services still needs to improve. There are rude inconsiderate people who shop there. Some guy took his time when i needed to use the space to pack things. I am disabled and it would be nice if the staff could have been more helpful. Needless to say Wal-Mart you may have changed the store please train your staff and make better improvements towards the disabled. Could be better!

How is it possible to completely renovate a store and somehow make it worse? Smells like urine and never has stock that matches online stock levels. Go to Stockyards if you can.

Customer service has really gotten terrible. I was asked to stand back 25 meters from the cashier till the customer before me left and "had to" use hand sanatized before uasing the contact-less credit tap function. Before I had checked out or taken my items from the table, the next customer was in my space litterally less than 2 feet away from me shoving the cart into my hip. I asked the cashier to ask that customer to please step back behind the line (6 feet away from where I was standing) until I was done. The cashier refused numerous times and kept demanding that I use the hand sanatizer even though I was in the process of undoing the cao and using it. I asked the cashier and the other customer again and again to let me please finish checking out but the other customer ignored me and the cashier refused to help me. Then I asked for the manager who did not listen to me at all and kept trying talking over me along with the cashier each defending each other. It was just terrible way to treat an older person who is immune compromised. Shame on you.

I also asked for a discount on a canned item because the can was dented but it was the last one. They told me they couldn't give me the discount because the dent was "on the outside of the can and did not affect what was inside". Um, ok? ! You realize the dent is on the same wall inside the can too. It's not like a can inside of a can.just really incompetent staff there today.

This store is a little bit of train wreck. Seems like there always moving stuff and doing construction. Which is fine, I get it. Plus side they have everything you need, prices can't be beat. And they have some really helpful staff like Neesha up front. She is always pleasant and helpful.

Went here to purchase some items. Upon finding the item there was no price listed on the product despite being a new product. So I gathered up the 5 items and walked to the self checkout to gather the prices myself. At this point an associate came and said she could not offer help in getting prices. I walked the product back myself only to find I was being followed. I was told that the product was too expensive for me to carry it and if I wanted to buy it she would bring it to the front for me. I guess if you have a long braid and wear a tshirt supporting your indigenous heritage you are not entitled to the same service. Today I felt the same racial profiling hundred of natives feel every day. In 2021 this is disgusting walmart. I will not be shopping here any more and I plan to share my stories with others.

If I could give zero stars I would. Never, ever again will I order online grocery delivery from here. 5 out of 5 orders, they have been 3-4 hours late, sent my order back to the store, not called, not arrived. It's a gong show. And if you try and call in and speak to someone, be prepared to wait for it to ring 20-30 times, and if you are lucky enough someone answers it, they will transfer you to the online delivery department where it will again ring about 20 times before you will be disconnected. DONT DO IT. Save yourself the aggravation and purchase online somewhere else.

Store is disgusting, there was a pile of vomit in an aisle and no one cleaning it. Employees were rude and unhelpful. One employee swore at me when I asked her where to find an item I was looking for. Go to any other Walmart in the city. Horrible experience.

Supercenter, very good deals. Watch for offers, rollback prices online and look for item availability in store.

I didn't go shopping here at Walmart just went to pick up a pair of pants and a jacket at the cleaners for alterations

Good store found what I needed, whatever staff was there were helpful if you are lucky to find one at the time

This location is my favourite because they have a really good selection of products that many of the other locations don't have!

I am giving Walmart a one star today because of a rude employee.

A elderly gentleman, with a language barrier was asking a worker where the butter was. The gentleman did not understand what the worker was saying, then the worker raised his voice and was extremely Condescending.

The worker said, " Butter, I said the Butter is right there! You just walk past it! "

I find it very interesting that his nametag was also covered up.

This worker is described as caucasian, balding and wearing black rimmed glasses. And about 5' 8" tall.

He was also restocking juices in the juice isle, on Oct 31,2019 at about 1: 15pm.

This is probably the worst supermarket I've ever been to. I really don't know what the management is doing here. The cashiers have no manners and even when they sorry they are so insincere about it. Partly the reason must be there are not nearly enough people employed. The shop is dirty and poorly maintained.

Unless you are really familiar with the layout of this store, it's very difficult to find what you need and store reps are hard to locate

It's okay.
It gets quite busy sometimes. The ground level parking is a nightmare. Taxis are always out front waiting to pick up people. It's been around for a long time and will continue to be here as long as Dufferin mall is around

It has a lot of great items. Some things you can't buy at other places some are cheaper then other places or more quantity. Again not all but some of the items I buy.

Not enough Invalid Parking spaces. Walmart doesn't have enough ORGANIC PRODUCE FROM CANADA. THEY IMPORT TOO MUCH PRODUCE FROM USA AND CHINA THAT CONTAIN GMOs from MONSANTO WHICH HAD BEEN PROVEN TO CHANGE OUR DNA AND CAUSE CANCER AND A JUDGE HELD MONSANTO RESPONSIBLE FOR WITH HOLDING THAT INFORMATION FROM THE PUBLIC AND BRIBING SCIENTISTS TO WITH HOLD THAT INFORMATION AS IN THE CASE OF DWAYNE JOHNSON WHO WON HIS CASE AND RECEIVED APPROX. $89 Million dollars. The Judge also allowed the PUBLIC to SUE MONSANTO BECAUSE ALL PRESIDENTS AFTER JF KENNEDY PROTECTED MONSANTO BY MAKING A BILL PROHIBITING ANYONE TO SO SO. THEREFORE SINCE 90% OF PRODUCTS FROM CHINA ARE ALL GMO AND THE MAJORITY OF PRODUCTS ARE FROM CHINA, I BOYCOTT WALMART STORES. I suggest you protect your loved ones and yourself and NOT BUY THEIR FOOD PRODUCTS OR FOOT WEAR.

My #1 walmart in Toronto! Always full of stock, staff always cleaning and tyding up, staff are always friendly and helpfull, cash registers are very fast and nice.
