I was attacked by the floor manager there and had my store items taken from me cause they werent in the system. Walmart customer service has refused to return My calls also.
Probably the very worst Walmart I have ever shopped at. These people double charged my wife's debit card by $100.00, we presented our receipts and bank statements proving they double charged us yet they refused to refund the money they owed us. We got nothing but multiple weeks of promised returned calls from management that never came, promises of resolution that never came, and nothing but excuses about how it's not their fault their staff is poorly trained and double charged us.
Run dont walk away from this store, if you prefer to shop at a Walmart find a better location then this one to shop at.but better yet avoid them if you can
Walmart's pricing strategies as they call them instore are a joke. I went on line to look for an air mattress with good reviews on walmart's website that was not an online purchase only. I found one that had good reviews in stock so I went to Walmart to purchase it. I grabbed it from the shelf and took it up front only to find out that instore it is $159 but online for $114. They said pricing can be different online from instore and they cannot honor the pricing on their website. I asked to speak to a manager and the first one said they encourage people to buy online as it is lower overhead. I said that is ridiculous, I am here now and have the product in my hands. He said to go buy it online. I spoke to a manager higher up and he said it is company policy. I could go buy it online and come back in an hour and get the one I have in my hands now. I said that was ridiculous. Apparently they get a ton of complaints about this. The manager said he could not do anything about it. BUY FROM OTHER STORES. Shop at Real Canadian Superstore, Costco, anywhere else where they do not do that
Chronically understaffed, lines are long 24/7 so you can't really "beat the rush" like other stores, and help is non existent because of overworked employees.
What can I say? It's Walmart. There's good and bad. Prices are great, quality varies. I would say that checkouts are an issue. They often have just one manned checkout open and one person overseeing the self-checkouts - it can be pretty frustrating but overall the staff themselves I have found to be helpful.
Customer service was excellent! I lost my friend with major mental disabilities but the employees ensured he was alright and kept me calm, cool, and collected. After some time in discomfort they eventually found him unharmed and in amazing condition. Just had to mention how brilliant the accommodating staff handled the overall situation!
Got to love this Walmart. I love going to one place for everything. I can do my grocery shopping, pick up a prescription, get plants for my backyard, a pair of shoes, diamond earrings And either a Big Mac, or a double double, all at one stop.
This was the worst experience I have ever had, while shopping at any retail store. Let me tell you the story:
1. I order furniture online. 2. Furniture finally arrives at the store in question, 2 weeks later. 3. I show up to pick up the product. 4. The customer service staff tells me, that SOMEHOW, this product was given to a different customer a few days ago. 5. That customer returned the product, which they are now giving to me. 6. I take the product home, which is super heavy by the way, as I am assured all is well with the product. 7. I open up the box at home, and literally find every single piece broken. 8. I am honestly so mad. 9. Not only was I given literal trash, I am now being told I have to bring back the items for a refund.
Always check your bill after checked out.they always make mistake. 3 times happened to me when I accidentally checked the bill. Eg If you buy beet roots in bulk let’s say 5 it cost approx 60-70 cent each but when you go to counter they charge you for 5 packed bag of beet roots.no idea how much money I already lost in past
I tried using the "pickup" service for the second time today. Not good! Used the app to checkin when I left my house. Used it again when I got here to show what spot I was in. 30 minutes later I had to call the store to ask where my order was and after 40 minutes I finally got it. The first time I used it they came right away which was nice but they subbed 1 product I said not to and gave me decaf coffee by mistake. Uggg
I had horrible service at self-check today, a young lady who told me going to another store to buy Rolox gift card just because I complained why Walmart charged tax on gift card. Then she ignored me when I call her 2 times to help.
Stay away from Walmart gift cards (digital or physical). What type of company allows you to pay CASH for a Walmart gift card but prevents you from buying a game card with those funds. And the arrogance of the untrained managers. It's no wonder why they are phasing out their associates for self checkouts. Funny thing is, you can redeem the gift card online to buy a game card.
Bad experience with guy taking a video of my wife and I. I walked to him and looked at his phone, it was in video recording mode. This is happening in all the large stores. It's a new norm for our society. It's happens too often and would require a lot of resources to do anything about it.
Same as other McDonald's, you don't get what you order and even worse, 2 managers were sitting and eating at a table, once they were done, without cleaning the table, they put the chairs upside down on the table and left, that is so grose, no more McDonald's, in fact shame
I decided to try online grocery shopping (keeps people their jobs considering checkouts have changed) and the first few experiences were decent. But I placed an order for 10-11 am on a Sunday and I'm a scheduler. I show up at quarter after 10 and it took until almost 11 to get notification and an hour to get my groceries. It would have been easier to do it myself and use the self checkout. The system should have a late notification. Do not recommend this service.
It's a nice store. Not much different than other large supercenters. It has a small McDonald's but no Tim Hortons. There is a full service deli and bakery but they are small. South Surrey is a better store overall but it is 50% larger.
The stock at this store is always horrible and many of the staff are not friendly or helpful. I really try to avoid Walmart but there are a few items I do pick up here. Even before covid the shelves were always empty.
