Walmart Supercentre

It's huge! Normally Walmart are dirty and small, but this was clean! The products were well packaged, nothing was broken! Did I mention how clean it is here! The products sold here are all MUCH MUCH cheaper than Super stores, and other store chains! Very good place to shop for new families!

When is Walmart going back to its regular hours ever since Covid they cut the hours back and the store would close sooner then later that was over 2 1/2 years ago why haven't they gone back to there regular hours 7am to 11pm they still have 10pm this is stupied there afraid to pay there workers and extra hour of work it not like it going to break the bank

I was just here with my mom going through self checkout when a lady working there gave us a very dirty look then walked over to us and said “I hope you scanned that item” very rudely, while looking at us up and down, referring to a package of paper towel we had in the cart. It’s very rude to be basically accused of stealing when I’m buying almost $200 worth of groceries; I’m almost sure she isn’t even allowed to say that to a customer. I feel extremely judged especially over the fact that other customers heard and starred at us which made us feel very uncomfortable. Don’t have self checkout if you manage it like that, never had this issue at any other store, let alone another Walmart.

There are a lot of self- check outs provided for the customers. The employees are polite, helpful, and readily available if needed.

Was treated like a criminal at the self checkout. Had all the workers buzzing around me while I scanned my items with my children present; I invited them to look through my bags etc, to which they found nothing amiss, but they continued to congregate around me any way. One associate reached into my buggy and attempted to take away my cosmetics receipt. I asked for it back and she argued that it was an old receipt and I didn’t need it; we went back and forth about it a few times before I had to take it back from her hands myself and show her the date on it and the products it referenced before she would leave me alone about it. An overall humiliating experience just trying to purchase basic groceries.

Worst walmart ever nothing on the selves no employees anywhere If I could a zero stars I would not impressed

21 closed self checkouts at peak after work time and lineup way into the isle.come on walmart, your already making us be the cashier, why do we need to wait 10 mins to checkout still

Terrible changes at Walmart. They are clearly pulling out all stops to deter thieves but the result is a completely hostile shopping experience. I will continue to reduce my spending there as much as possible.

I attended Walmart in Chilliwack BC Canada on June 12 2023 at approximately 16: 20 to return 2
5 L jugs of Castrol motor oil, as I had mistakenly purchased the wrong viscosity.

I told the associate that I did not have a receipt. I stated to the associate that I had purchased the wrong motor oil and that one of the jugs the seal was still intact, the second jug the seal was almost broken before I realized that I had purchased the wrong oil, although when you look at it the seal was still intact.

Associate handed me a little slip, and said that I had to know the exact date the oil was purchased, which I did not know as I have several cars and motorcycles and buy oil randomly. The associate stated that she could not help me since I could not remember the exact date of purchase and the transaction amount for each jug was over $50 each. I asked the associate to show me the policy where it stated that.
I will give her credit she did try to find it in her manual, and also asked another associate who could not provide the information either.
Both associates stated that’s what they were told as to the policy.
I asked to speak to a store manager as the portion of the policy that was posted on the wall, clearly states.

Assistant manager later known as Nav, the associates explained the situation. I asked Nav to provide the exceptions as part of the return policy.
Her first response was “You can look it up online”
The portion of the return policy posted on the wall it clearly states

“ if you have a question or concern, ask for the store manager or any other member of our management staff. ”

which I reminded her of. At this point, she starts looking it up, and then states she cannot find it. Nav then stated why didn’t I do an exchange? I said I have no idea what the exchange policy is. It appeared out of frustration and been challenged regarding policy, Nav then authorized a gift card.

I stated to Nav if you are challenged on the return policy, it’s not for you to say “you can look it up online” Then she states managers decide exceptions.
I stated where does it say that, she had no answer.
I did say to Nav I will be writing a formal complaint, allowing her the opportunity to make notes of the interaction prior to me writing in my complaint.

I would not be writing a formal complaint against NAV, the assistant manager, if she had taking responsibility for her actions, although when you say “You can look it up online” and “managers decide exceptions”
that’s not a quality of a manager, in my opinion. The mechanics of the store are easy to learn, although you should know the return policy inside and out if you’re challenged.

Cheap prices but cheap made goods. Beware the box that has been taped. Chances are its defective and placed back on the shelf. Staff not very helpful in electronics section. Only one person there and she was more interested in organizing things behind the cash register area. Had to flag someone else to open one of the display cases which took 15 minutes. Not a good place to get electronics that are locked up.

Miss Zellers like crazy.
Walmart always will be around. So each day is the same as the last. I am grateful Sussex Insurance is there.

Made a special trip to buy Nood cat food. Already checked to see if it was in the Chilliwack store, it was, asked employee they didnt know where it was. My daughter said they had it definately, , it was not with the cat food. Took me an hour to get checked out, now I have to go back again to get the cat food

I went to Walmart to buy an entire pallet of water softening salt, quite a big task. With the help of the manager and some staff members, the complicated process of buying 61 bags of salt became completely effortless. They even helped me load the bags onto my truck! Amazing

Feel like I am being forced to use Self Checkout, they now have about thirty self checkout spots and at most 10 staffed checkouts and most days lucky if five are open. Will now use Super Store for all my shopping needs.

Open registers. Electronics register wont process my food stuff with scans. Hire register people that actually wanna work. Real canadian superstore has more food choices, ALL registers opened, and received good service

Customer service just left me on hold and hung up after 10 minutes poor customer service was not friendly to me on the phone either all I wanted was to know if they had anitem in stock

Waiting 10 minutes for someone to answer the phone to get transferred to hang up after another 10 minutes to nobody answering the phone. Remembered why I shop at Costco.

Eww bad smell all over the store specially near washrooms. Seems like they need to train their cleaners and maintenance crew or hire better employees. NOT deserving even one star!

I shop here often and the selection of products is great. Prices are mostly great and the safe are friendly

Other than being cheap I dont care for that place. Staff has been rude and or very unhelpful and atthe start of covid I couldn't even buy 2 or more of some items I need to make 1 meal for a family of 4. Those rules since been taken away but still the staff has been bad enough I go Superstore or Save On and Fresh co instead

I have to give these folks a hard three stars. Part of it is not their fault.it's the "I get paid by the hour' secuirty folk at the front doors that took away two stars.i refuse to touch a cart unless I wipe it down myself cause I have yet to see ANYONE spraying or wiping down the baskets.sure there are signs that say 'Clean Baskets' and I'm sure there are ninjas that work their quick as bunnies to maintain that level of sanitation! Going to the other big box stores they have dedicated employees wiping stuff down.may just have to stick to those. The manager is always working quite diligently, maybe he could walk around the store and remind people to wear their masks especially if the policy is in place.

Not bad, not always the greatest selection but not bad. Usually pretty clean in the store and they seem to stay on top of things. The only Walmart in the valley unless you drive to Abbotsford which both stores there are always extremely dirty.

Good place. Always stay here the night when traveling back to Alberta in my camper. Always make sure to go in and buy a few things. Thanks for your hospitality. It's becoming more rare around the country.

Lies to customers saying masks are mandatory.
They aren't mandatory for customers, only your helpless employees.

Everybody had to wear masks and they were doing that.every aisle was marked which direction you had to go and most people followed the arrows.

Kinda dirty, didn't enjoy myself till check out, then we saw a great employee, super friendly, and very efficient too.

It's 5 stars because of the consistency. Big Walmart. Has everything. Exactly what you would expect

Kandi and Irene in "customer service" prove that you only need an IQ of 3 to work at Walmart.
Absolutely horrible, unprofessional service. Blamed the customer of trying to scam the store out of $4 and then afterwards realized it was their mistake. No apology was given, just shrugged it off.
Complete idiots.

It a standard Walmart and everything but the store is a dead zone. No cell service at all and that's kinda important in this day in age. Keep in mind that if you shop here you're going off the grid. If you're expecting any important phone calls shop elsewhere.

Went to Wal-Mart today grab a cheese. Went home, while putting the cheese inside the fridge I notice a mold on the corner of the cheese then I looked at it closer and even the back of the cheese are covered with mold. Yikes. So check it before you put it in the cart. I was in a rush to get home didn't had a chance to really look at it. (August 6,19)

Most ridiculous wait time to check out. Would have used self checkout but apparently they think I can’t scan more than 20 items.

I went in for a specific item I saw on rollback. All the tills that we open were at the opposite exit. I went to electronics to confirm price because the signage was wrong. You are probably starting to wonder why I put 5, because the sales associate was amazing, she not only, checked the price, she rang it in and even though she is not aloud to she helped me to the car. (Big item)

They had what I needed at an affordable price. Very convenient. Hours are great, prices are great, huge store, something for everybody.

Not a good experience self checkout attending was worst i ever seen in any Walmart. Rude absurd and do not have respect for customer

Friday afternoon and have been standing in line for more than 10 minutes with 6 people in front of me and they have only processed one person. All lines appear the same. They apparently want to save money by keeping lanes closed. This is my last time shopping here so at least it will free up a spot for someone else.

Had what i was there for security is getting a little goofy i did self check out and now instead of the staff doing a better job watching what is going on at checkout they have the machine prompt you to be an honest person and have added more security detectors. Next they are going to pat people down on the way out. As if anyone that is going to steal would feel bad about being dishonest with the machine!

Your typical Walmart.go early on weekends cause it gets crazy busy. Good selection of things groceries are fresh and appealing.

The very best Walmart in my opinion.although understaffed, this walmart has a good feel to it. Products are always easy to find and employees are accommodating and easy going. Always clean and wide spaces aisles

Good prices, but the quality can be inconsistent, especially with the produce. Sometimes you get a great deal, sometimes it's obvious they are just buying the cheapest thing they can get their hands on. But hey, where else are you going to get giant animal head masks, Perrier water and bbq coal for less than 20$

Typical Walmart experience and expectations, not too much to write home about in regards to employees going out of their way to be particularly helpful. Koral in the electronics/cellular area of the store was fantastic to deal with and a huge help answering any and all questions I had in regards to phone plans and contracts.
