Walnut Grove Community Park

This whole area has several parks connected by trails. It's a really nice area with the paths going through a ravine, neighborhoods, little parks and a nice large dog park. Overall just a great area. Will be back for sure.

Love it here. Spray park is fun and safe, playgrounds are cute but not for bigger kids. The fields are great too.

We hosted kids birthday party. Overall a well maintained park, nice play area around covered picnic shelters. Clean washrooms.

Such a fun place for kids. Great splash pad, little trickling river, and 2 dry play structures for different ages. Lots of good shade too.

Great space to get some work done (free wifi at library), have a bite to eat, shop a swim suit, take a swim, enjoy a hottub and play some racquet ball.

Lovely community park connected to a soccer field and also has a tennis court.
Has 2 playgrounds one for smaller tots and the other for older toddlers.
Got various walk paths to and from the woods.

It was a convenient place to take a walk. It was comfortable because there were not many people.

Great park and community center. A few tennis courts at the entrance. On the south side they have a nice playground. The bathroom are normally clean. Sometimes parking can be an issue.

I live nearby, a very good neighborhood with schools, library, indoor swimming pool and other community center facilities.

Excellent place to bring the family. Kids can play safely in the large waterpark or playground. Lots of area for parents to set up lawn chairs.

My daughter slipped on the grass there, on a small slop, and fell, by the playground park.
She broke her ankle in 2 places and needed.surgery.
She needed a plate and screws to hold it together.
Be careful.

Newly resurfaced (2017) six lane track on high school property. No bathrooms. No lights in the evening but there is enough light from the Walnut Grove community centre nearby which lights up 100m. Bathroom available inside the community centre.

Great parking, public bathrooms, kids splash zone, more then 1 kids play ground, 3 ball diamonds, tennis courts, walking trails.

Lots of shade, fenced and a little river for water play. We enjoy it. I just wish the mess from water ballons was picked up.

Since moving to Walnut Grove, I have walked my pupps around this park.

Though it had become more of a sports park, as and they have done away with the open fields, it's still a good walk.

There is a waterpark, tennis courts, community garden, baseball diamond, soccer field, 2 kids play parks, and a 2 covered waiting areas.

My only comment us it needs more light so you can walk later at night.

This place is always busy in the summer time. The water park is very popular and it's large enough to accommodate a lot of people. The surrounding fields, trails, picnic areas, shelters, tennis courts and baseball/softball diamonds provide a great range of activities for those visiting.

Beautiful in the spring and summer seasons - play areas, shaded picnic area, water park, trails, playground. The place is well maintained. One minor con - on a good day, the parking might fill up pretty soon.

Good place to play tennis but there is no shade of trees so if play afternoon in the summer time, would be definitely exhausting.

The kids had a great time here, I liked the different playground sizes. Both my kids, 1 and 4 had a great time here.

Large park with 3 baseball diamonds all weather soccer field and waterpark. Also has six tennis courts.

Seems to a well cared for park, with a water park, a soccer field and a couple of baseball diamonds.

Nice facilities. 2 Playgrounds for both young kids and older kids. A splash park, covered area with picnic tables, baseball and soccer fields plus washrooms and more.

Clean park with well maintained fields. Very nice paths for walking of cycling and is in a great neighborhood.

Seems like a great place! Its like they cut everything down and cultivated this well maintained location to collect garbage.
