This review is an official review from Gongyou Shared Kitchen after careful consideration. Taking this incident as an unacceptable experience, I also have closely read about this company, which has a history of 29 years, and provides important and necessary services to many people and businesses.

Once again, I leave this review with the hope that the company will reflect on itself, providing honest, trustworthy, and responsible service to other customers in case of customer service and service failures in the future.

Running a business myself, I understand that challenges can arise, and the response from the company's service performance. I am sorry to hear about the difficulty in operations due to labor shortages post-COVID has impacted your business which resulted service disruptions.
Our staff members have made several attempts to address the ongoing situation via email / phone calls, and we were previously assured that our organic bins would be promptly collected. Despite our patient waiting and the multiple assurances provided by your company, the issue remains unresolved.

We have been receiving a weekly food waste pickup service from your company, and there were 2 missed pickups and we were informed that the service couldn't be carried out due to labor shortages. Understanding that such challenges can happen in business, we awaited the next service while being promised.
Despite the assurance, the service scheduled for 8/17 was not provided, and the subsequent promise of service for the following day wasn't fulfilled for 13 consecutive days. This raises doubts about the veracity of the explanation that a company with a 29-year history can't provide a service due to labor shortages over a span of 13 days.

Yesterday, as the food waste started to decompose and we noticed infestation has started, we highlighted the issue to WCS that it was causing damage to our business and neighboring companies. We strongly appealed to this problem in writing. Consequently, we received an official email from the higher level customer service team, assuring us of food waste collection today (Aug 30th 2023) 100%. However, the service has yet to be provided today again. While we understand that unforeseen circumstances may lead to occasional service disruptions, we believe that repeated and prolonged service interruptions are not acceptable. The irresponsible response that everything is not possible due to the impact of COVID cannot be justified as an excuse.
In the current challenging circumstances, where local businesses need to support each other, it's disappointing that such issues persist even after strong communication with the company. This situation leads me to believe that the company isn't just struggling due to labor shortages, but it's failing to provide the service it aims to sell. This makes the company appear less professional within the industry.
If the responsible representative of the company reads this review, I believe there's a need for more professional handling of tasks. There's also a necessity to re-evaluate the internal systems of the company. It's evident that there's a disconnect between the promised service and its actual execution, and continuing such dialogues without receiving the essence of the contracted service isn't the right approach.
Ultimately, it's important for a responsible company to address these issues and work towards a solution.

WCS was really on-point when we switched to them from GFL. Like many stratas currently, we are experiencing continuous missed pick up. The only responses we are getting are WCS saying they will pick up on a later date, but missing it. Then they set another date, then missing it again.

Edit: Staffing is currently an issue for WCS. Thanks for the owners response, hope the company stabilizes soon.

Drivers have very bad road rage. I was driving in front of truck number 555 on highway 1. She didn’t have her hands on the steering wheel as she was filming me with her cell phone, showing me the finger and talking on her radio. Hopefully management handles the situation appropriately as this is very unsafe and distracted driving practice. I did speak with the general manager so I am hopeful that there will be more driving safety training. This woman should not be behind the wheel of a dump truck.

I had great interactions with Marnie while trying to solve a very complicated service issue. I won't go into details but I will say that even though it wasn't her department, she assured me she would solve my problem. She was as good as her word.
