Watermark Beach Resort

I was parked near this Resort because I had vehicle problems. From what I saw I would say everything's a five star

We are a senior couple that travel with our 2 dogs. We had a wonderful 5 star stay over the holidays. The restaurant, food and staff were exceptional. We used the fitness centre as well and were pleased with its 24/7 access. We are now planning to make this an annual trip.

Freindly staff, Clean room, Very Very comforatable beds.
Lobby was well decorated. Felt really clean and comfortable. The bistro was great had some pre party cocktails. Would stay again forsure and reccomend The Watermark to anyone! Merry Christmas! And Thank you.

Great resort. Friendly staff. Nice pool and hot tubs. Small waterside. We added an additional night onto our trip, and booked it online. Asked at the front desk to see if we could keep the same room for both of the separate reservations and they were very accommodating.

My husband and I had our wedding at the Watermark on September 16th. It was a wonderful 3 night stay. We had a lovely bellman who helped us load all of our luggage and wedding decorations into the room. He was so friendly and kind. We felt welcomed, and appreciated the wedding card and wine in the room. Thank you so much for the incredible stay!

It's no wonder this place is expensive. Located right on the beach of one of Canada's most beautiful lakes. Top notch rooms and amenities, included underground parking, very friendly staff and dog friendly. We will definitely be returning here next year. Even the water softener in the room was quite nice. No problems storing the scooters in our room or the included locked bike storage below in the parking garage. 5 stars all around!

The Watermark is a fabulous getaway, with wonderful staff, fantastic food & beverage @ 15 Park Bistro and well appointed suites.

I love that place. They are really dog friendly but still extremely clean. Their restaurant is amazing

Bugs in room that never got removed. I gave up after the second day of complaining. Very loud appliances, old furniture with uncomfortable pillows and mattresses, no security cameras. Would not recommend staying here.

Excellent staff, very helpful, great resort. Nikhil and Karm were super helpful and made our staff exceptional.

Great resort, great location, great staff. Kids will love the water slide. The only complaint is that the last couple times we've come, our rooms aren't actually ready at check-in time (which is already late at 5pm). Worth it though.

Absolutely amazing staff at the front desk and the staff in the bistro was absolutely outstanding, my wife and I brought 3 of are kids and my nephew and like always we couldn't have asked for more. I recommend this place to anyone with or without kids this place great. My wife loves the spa here and we come back every year. We wouldn't go anywhere else. Why change a good thing. In the room/resort now so totally fresh review. Only 2 stars for overall and the room because at over 600 CA$/night, I did not expect the following, which was more like a Motel 6 than a “luxury resort” room 1) commode/toilet about 7 inches off the ground like in a kid’s room—cheap as you can buy 2) body wash and shampoo in nice “branded” pump bottles, but come out running like water not gel-like 3) tub in “Master bath” in 2 bdrm suite is very deep and not a single “grab bar”—even Motel 6s have those. 4) Our front desk staff was “robotic” which I think was supposed imply efficiency—but not very pleasant. 5) Finally, checkin is 5 pm (ours was actually 515 but they gave us a $100 voucher for being late). Still with 5 pm checkin and 11 am checkout a 4 day reservation means you only have the room for 3 days. On the upside, great view if you get a lake side room (otherwise looking down on busy streets) ; comfortable beds, acceptable kitchen setup; great pool for kidsSo, overall, a 2 star rating for $600 if it had been $400 I would have gone 4 stars

We just got back from three days at the Watermark.

The positives …

The location is amazing. You’re literally steps from the lake. There always seems to be people everywhere but you never feel crowded. Whether it’s 8am, noon or 7pm, you feel a millions miles away from the hustle.

The grounds of the hotel are spectacular! Whenever you turned around, someone was pruning something, cleaning something, fixing something or just offering a genuine hello.

The rooms are well laid out and easy to maneuver in. The kitchen has a decent inventory of necessities.

Areas that need a bit of work…

Our bathtub was full of sand when we arrived. Clearly, it had not been cleaned. We asked for housekeeping to come and take care of it … they didn’t show. We ended up using dish soap and did it ourselves when we wanted to shower later that night.

When Housekeeping did show up, they would come at 6pm, 9/10am, or not at all. Very inconsistent and we weren’t really sure what their process was. We had a knock as we were sitting down to eat dinner. We asked them to change the bedding, asked for more dishwasher tablets, and laundry detergent. They changed the sheets and just left without saying anything else.

The blinds were broken and we let maintenance know and we were told to let them know when we checked out. There was no offer to fix them.

The little things that were overlooked…

The screen door was ripped.

There was a q-tip under the couch. Not a huge deal but if you just looked, you could see it and you’d think it would have been picked up.

All the dishes in the kitchen had to be washed before using for various reasons.

Between the dishes, the a-tip and the bathtub, it make me think how often it was cleaned.

The dining room light glowed. We thought the light was burnt out and called maintenance. They just screwed it back in. It wasn’t until we were getting ready for bed and turned it off that we realized why they were unscrewed.

A broom in the rooms would be really nice!

Anyway, it was a lovely stay and with some attention to the details, it could be so much better. Especially considering the actual cost of the room.

Visited the water mark twice now and have been very happy with our visit.

Pool is amazing for kids, rooms are very comfortable with a nice layout for families. Very convenient location and beach and park nearby.

15 minutes to most wineries with casual dining options near by. We will absolutely return next year.

Great place to stay! I would say the only downside is the distance is too far to walk to downtown, but the pool and lakefront clean beach are amazing. Great walking path along the lake here too.

A great hotel with great service!

The room or suite included a complete kitchen with dishwasher etc.
There was also both a washing machine and a tumble dryer in the suite. These could be used free of charge.

The location of the hotel on Lake Osoyoos is great.

The only downside was the location of the room facing the highway. You could clearly hear the street noise despite wearing earplugs.

We would definitely book a room here again.

Wonderful hotel, right on the beach. Very good service.
However, the Wi-Fi in the room was down for two evenings, which was the only negative thing.

Room smelt of leaking gas and after reporting the issue and attempt to resolve the gas smell remained for the entire duration of our stay. Also, more than 1 week since checking out and hotel has not released our credit card holding deposit.
