Water's Edge Shoreside Suites

I just accidentally deleted my long and glowing review for Water's Edge. So I will try to reproduce it.

We have been staying there for almost 14 years and would never stay anywhere else! The suites are incredibly spacious and have everything you need. The windows are huge and look out over fantastic views whether you are on the Harborside or the Inlet.

The kitchen has everything you need and we usually take enough food to have some meals 'at home' looking out at the Vista from our dining area.

We get a suite with a jacuzzi tub because there is nothing nicer than coming in from a long hike and looking out from the deck at a stunning view. We even got to see the stars every night this past week which was amazing for this time of the year!

The members of the staff are always lovely and helpful and welcoming.

We have reservations for the spring already!

A great place to relax and have as a home base, close to beaches and forest trails to trek, ample restaurants close by. Don't forget the wine to sip in front of the fireplace.

Loved our stay here, rooms felt slightly dated but we were told they were all being renovated which will really benefit them! Great service and location for wildlife, saw bears, otters, sea lions, seals and bald eagles from our balcony! The jacuzzi bath on the balcony is a great addition too.

Beautiful apartment with fully equipped kitchen and a warm bubble bath outside on the veranda/balcony. This with a view of the water! Flamingo restaurant here in the fishing port is very good!

Wonderful location with great views. Beds very comfy and good facilities. Would recommend staying here.

20min walk into Ucluelet.

There’s a spa attached to the hotel for a possible much needed massage after a days walking around Ucluelet.

I recently stayed at Waters Edge Shoreside Suites for two nights and had a delightful experience. The views were breathtaking, the service exceptional, and the pet-friendly environment was a big plus. The suite was clean, well-equipped, and made me feel at home.

One aspect that stood out was the convenient after-hours check-in process. Due to missing our ferry from the mainland, we arrived late, but the check-in was a breeze. The staff made sure we had all the necessary instructions and made the process smooth and hassle-free.

The only minor drawback was the lack of a nearby pet waste disposal. It would have been more convenient to have one closer to the suite.

Overall, Waters Edge Shoreside Suites offers a serene getaway with stunning views, exceptional service, convenient after-hours check-in, and a pet-friendly environment. Highly recommended for a rejuvenating escape.

Kitchen was well equipped right down to a dishwasher. Easy access to everywhere we wanted to go.

I will 100% be coming back. Check-in was made so easy for us and we arrived really late (after hours). The suite was incredible and the view was breathtaking. Really enjoyed the tub on the deck. Definitely worth walking around the grounds, there’s a cute little beach with more breathtaking views. The cons I have that aren’t MAJOR - There was a bird nest inside the deck above us and the birds sh*t all over our deck (I stepped/sat in some a few times), the water became cold before the tub was even filled and there was no parking near our building the first night.

This place could be great, but the hot tub cools faster than the hot water tank can reheat the water.

So what you get is maybe a max 20 minute soak before the water starts getting cold, and you can’t refill it because you’re just refilling it with tepid water!

Not sure if they’re using natural gas or electricity to heat water, but it can’t be more than $1 / night in additional energy costs to keep the water at a reasonable temperature.

Magical stay at this fantastic place with great views over the water, amazing rooms and a hot tub on the balcony.

Loved it here and would return! Stayed in cabin 5 in a suite overlooking the tidal marsh. Our outdoor tub was out of service but we knew that going in and had no desire to use one anyways. The view was amazing. Kitchen amenities all worked as required. Nature abounded as we watched a Blue Heron fishing as the tide came in, witnessed a juvenile bald eagle with an adult female perched and then flying from a tree across the marsh in the early morning while a seal was resting on the rocks. The only reason I'm giving four stars is due to some small maintenance issues: deck boards and stairs to the front of our room were loose and in need of repair, and the boardwalk along the marsh to the picnic gazebo (including the tables) was in disrepair and could not be accessed or used. I would totally return here if we came back to Ucuelet on another family vacation.

This place is amazing. Beautiful apartments in am even more beautiful environment. We saw black bears from our window every day!
Staff is also really friendly and helpful. And there is an equally exceptional restaurant om the premises.

Mooie grote suites met uitzicht. Compleet ingericht. Deluxe suites met outdoor soaking tub with jets. Mooie locatie.

The small "flats" are beautiful and designed for comfort and luxury. Not close to many restaurants but have facilities to cook.
Couldn't ask for more utensils to cook, clean
Bbq equipment to use as well as pool towels listed and washing machines
Check in and out easy with bays to park for this and outside your rooms
Lovely area and views

Eine tolle Wohnung mit Whirlpool auf dem Balkon und Blick auf den See vom Schlafzimmer und Essbereich aus. Wir haben sogar einen Bären am Ufer gegenüber beim Frühstück beobachten können. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und wir sind direkt vom Hotel aus losgewandert.

The rooms have a great layout and lovely to come back to after a day explaining. The outdoor soaker tub was amazing to relax together and listen to the sea lions in the harbour.
We found we were missing a lot of crockery but reception staff sorted this as soon as we reported it and brought items across immediately.
There was a plumbing issue while we were there and we had to change rooms but again this was dealt with professionally and quickly and we couldn't fault the staff reaction to the situation.
My only complaint about the stay was that there was quite a lot of noise through the ceiling from the room above. Not sure if the rooms need more soundproofing through the floors or if we were staying under a particularly heavy footed family.
We would definitely stay here again!

Expect 3 star acomodación at 4+ rates and you wont be dissapointed. Not all apartments have same views. No room service " due to covid"
