We didn't think we were going to be able to secure insurance on a rural property because of the distance to the fire hall. After numerous companies said "no", Tiana at Waypoint Insurance found a way. They were optimistic from the first conversation and we were so impressed we transferred all of our insurance to Waypoint!

We received excellent service from Kahlin Cook of Waypoint Insurance for our 2024/25 home insurance. We are pleased with the coverage, rate and most importantly the feeling that we will have the support should we ever have to rely on our insurance coverage.

I needed renters insurance and dealt with Kahlin, she was super helpful and kept in touch with me when I was waiting for responses from my landlords and at the time of signing the contract I was injured and we were able to do everything online which was super helpful! Fairly decent over the phone service lately. If you don't need a decal then no need to go into a office, I've been having good luck with these guys over the phone insure the vehicle then get the documents mailed

Being new to the Comox Valley, I was searching for tenant's insurance and was directed to Waypoint. I'm very pleased with the competitive pricing, as well as the friendly service I received from all the staff who I dealt with.

The staff here are really lovely and easy to work with. My issue has to do with their recommendation that I buy my private auto insurance from their partner, Family Insurance. I had a claim shortly after signing with Family for a hit and run and it has been an absolute nightmare. I even had the hit-and-run insurance - which is apparently useless They approved the claim and repairs then changed their mind halfway through and are telling me I now have to pay half the cost because of a tiny scratch that was pre-existing on my bumper. I've been told that the adjuster who reviewed my case is one of the worst in the business and tends to deny everybody everything.

Mallory was great to work with and got me a great rate with more coverage than my previous insurer. Would highly recommend!
