I have very positive experience with the dr. Romashin of Richmond clinic . Dr. Romashin  is very caring and knowledgeable. I am glad we found his and he became our doctor.
Highly recommend this clinic and Dr.  Romashin.

Came to the clinic as it said walk ins are open but cannot register online if you havent been here before. Sign on door says to use other door - which there isnt another. Main reason for the review is that waiting out front for 15 minutes the staff had time to play with their cell phones but no one would come talk to me. Say we dont take walk ins, we are closed, anything instead of pointedly ignoring me.

The office give a telephone appointment at 5 PM & 5: 15 PM for myself and daughter but the MD didn’t call. At 5: 40 pm I called the office, while waiting for someone to answer, there was incoming call from same number and tried to answer. The receptionist told that we missed the MD’s call and I told we have been waiting and can talk to the MD now but the receptionist said the MD will be off soon.
Your time is precious and so your clients. Don’t ever give an appointment if you can’t accommodate us! It’s already a telephone consultation yet very hard it happen.

It's been our experience that you must make a virtual appointment prior to in-person. This is such a colossal waste of time when it has to do with babies whom cannot yet communicate.

If you are reading this comment - it is legit that their receptionists are really terrible and inexperienced. (Other reviews in the past about their receptionists are real). Their doctors are excellent, but their receptionists are 0/10.

Donald Yung is the most unprofessional doctor I have ever spoken to. He did not follow proper medical procedures. Another doctor told me that Dr Yung did not write any notes for my visit with him. He also asked me to come in person to the clinic, which the other doctor told me was completely unnecessary. A complete waste of time.

I have very positive experience with the receptionists and Dr. Yung of Richmond clinic. The waiting time of in-person appointment is approx. 5 to 8 minutes of the booking time, which is very reasonable compared to at least 30-minute waiting time for most Lab tests! Dr. Yung is very friendly; he cares about patients and does follow my situation constantly. I trust the clinic and think I'm in good hands.

The one star is not accurate. UPDATE YOUR SIGNAGE! A total waste of time, I waiting in -1 temperature for 40 minutes to find out the “New Patients Welcome” and the hours 8: 00am don’t mean anything! I have been to this clinic before and the database said I was never a patient and new patients are not welcome. The people inside ignored me!

Dr. Vostretsova is very caring and knowledgeable. I am glad we found her and she became our doctor. I did not see any clinic where you can see or talk to the available doctor the same day.

So, I was scheduled to do a phone call with the doctor and the doctor picked up the phone and I had to say hello for a few times to have his reply: “oh am I talking to xxx? Cuz the file said it’s male. ” I was like yes. He said my voice’s pitch is too high doesn’t sound like a male. I was SUPER OFFENDED by this conversation. When I was telling him what happened, he kept interrupting me then ask me something like what do you expect/want from me. Please avoid this clinic.

Absolutely garbage clinic. Wait time is super long. Reception is unorganized and Doctor is extremely rude. When he tried to examine my work related injury, he was careless and ended up hurting me more.

Horrible and absurd service in Well clinic,

On May 30th 2022, I made an appointment over the phone for my wife to do a pap test with Dr. Selina Li on June 20th. On the 20th, My wife and I specially asked for a half-day work leave, because I need to drive her to the clinic. We arrived 10 minutes earlier than the appointment time 12pm.

What to my astonishment is, the receptionist said that we did not make an appointment. We can't believe what we heard! I told her the exact date and time of the phone appointment, but she still said she couldn't find it, saying that we made the mistake.

Fortunately, my phone has an automatic recording of the call, and then I played the recording of the phone appointment to the receptionist, and she was speechless. She neither apologized nor said they did wrong, as if nothing happened, it's too ridiculous! I asked her to tell her boss to do an investigation and give the client an answer.

So far I haven't received any response from them on my complain, not even an apology. What a terrible service in WELL Health Medical Clinic!

Arrogant and dismissive with no concern for the health and well-being of their patients, avoid at all costs. You don't often see medical clinics with ratings as low as 2.4 and over 50% 1-star ratings (as of 2022-05). Rest assured, in this case, the low rating is well deserved. Read through all the reviews and you'll see the pattern. Wouldn't be surprised to see it go even lower. The only reason they're still in business is because they have a nice location.

Had a phone appointment with Michelle Gerber and she was so dismissive and useless. I called for help with depression and she had no interest in offering any help at all. Would not recommend this place.

Why are the blinds on the windows always close? The clinic looks so dark and depressing inside that it could be affecting the morale of the receptionists. The new manager of the clinic has given the order to keep the blinds closed. The clinic should have a welcoming atmosphere.

Dr. Vostretsova was great as always. Very caring and knowledgeable. My strong suggestion is for the clinic management to open up their vertical blinds and keep them open while the clinic is open. Currently, the blinds are closed and it makes the clinic so dark and gloomy. Makes a person going in feel so NOT WELCOMED. Also, management should consider how their staff feels about the dark and gloomy environment.

The doctor had a poor manner about delaying virtual meeting 15 minutes but didn't even say sorry and good bye when finishing the meeting. Do not recommend! She failed to show any professionalism as a family doctor.

I had the worse experience with the ladies up front at the desk. Told them I couldn't hear due to wearing hearing aids and needed ears flushed, they just didn't care and sent me away. I wish I could give no stars.

The receptionist was nice and quick to respond and talk to. He was able to help me efficiently and clearly. Very nice receptionist. Would give 5 stars.

However the doctor was quite bad. Gave me the wrong requisition form and did not even correct it when the ultrasound clinic informed them. I had to call in regarding to the issue, delaying my urgent ultrasound. Would give 1 star for doctor.

I do not recommend this clinic. I’ve been a patient for maybe four years and am on a non-optional daily asthma inhaler, on a daily essential thyroid med and a prescribed daily ant-acid.

The doctors at this location do not prescribe more than 3 months at a time - as I was advised when I asked two weeks ago why I wasn’t given refills for my essential meds for more than 3 months when they were renewed 2 months ago. This has not always been the case.

I appreciate now that during COVID all is mostly being done over the phone.

Two weeks ago I called in the morning for the renewal for my files so I wouldn’t have to cut it close around Christmas/New Years for medicine renewing etc. I was told Dr Chu would call and when he did I asked why I had to call again for a renewal for these meds which haven’t changed.

The doctor didn’t seem to have any of my info and seemed impatient.

Dr Chu asked if I’ve tested my thyroid. It was nice he asked as no one at that clinic ever did - when I asked they only ever vaguely said it was only needed to be tested every 3 years? When I had seen the specialist I was tested every month or so. I had to then ask for the life lab test requisite-he said he would renew the prescriptions and do the requisite for the blood test then hung up.

No prescriptions have been renewed and there’s no way to know if the requisite was sent until I try to get the blood test.

At the beginning of the call I was taken aback at the way the doctor spoke to me when I asked why I was having to call back for renewals while having concerns with Covid making things more difficult.

I’ve since gone elsewhere as my boyfriend goes to a clinic with more sympathetic doctors who don’t needlessly require unnecessary calls for unchanged essential medications. This other clinic has already sent renewals for on file and the LifeLab requisition since indeed the last test was Aug 2019.

HORRIBLE horrible clinic. Have had to go there for years because our family doctor in this one (need to find another one clearly). The receptionists are trained to lie to customers. They tell you the wait is 30 mins when it's actually 2 hrs. Or will tell you 1 hr wait when closer to 3. I have never ever made an appointment and not have had to wait hours as their doctors always running behind. I would be okay with most of this if they were even somewhat accurate with wait time, or if the staff were friendly. But they aren't, they are consistently rude and cold. Not a single smile or an apology as nothing is their fault. They refuse to give you office manager name so can't even address any concerns with the clinic. Awful place, avoid if you can!

I was a little hesitant to book through the virtual clinic at this location after reading some of the reviews, but my experience with the system was excellent.

When I called to confirm my appointment, the receptionist was polite and helpful.

Dr. Selena Li called me within minutes of the scheduled time. She kindly answered my questions and was professional and polite.

I agree with Julia's review about the virtual call. I used to like this clinic as the appointment system works and more or less I could get the useful advice from the doctors.

However the so-called virtual call system sucks. The receptionist scheduled 12: 30pm and they usually called one day before the visit day to double check you would not be absent. But on the visit day, I waited until 12: 50pm and then I called the reception they just repeated "the doctor will call you soon okay? " and sounded pretty exhausted.

I am still waiting for the call and it's been 25 minutes late compared to the scheduled time (12: 30pm) and I am pretty curious when "the doctor" will make such a call. It's even longer time then physically waiting in the clinic. Very frustrated and suck system. If the system doesn't work, just make some CHANGES!

Horrible service, receptionists are clueless and don't know what they're doing. I've called to make an appointment, and was told they will schedule a virtual call with me at 3pm. 3: 30PM no call. I called back and they said I'm supposed to wait and the doctor will call me later. The receptionist was rude and wouldn't even give me a time on when the doctor is supposed to call me. What the hell was the point of making an appointment then? And do they expect me to wait by my phone all afternoon for them to call? After I hung up, the doctor called me 5 minutes later.obviously they forgot or the receptionist never scheduled me.

I booked an appointment through Virtual Clinic, I was fortunate to be connected with Dr. Yung. He was amazing. He listen to me and set up lab tests to determine what was going on. Once I got the lab results, I arranged another telephone meeting with Dr. Yung. He had the results in front of him and did an exceptional job of explaining what the readings meant. He is now having me book an ultrasound to further investigate. Dr. Yung is outstanding. I wish he was in Victoria and he could be my family doctor. This has been the best experience I have had with any doctor in BC. I rely on walk in clinics in Victoria due to the fact one cannot find a family doctor. High praise for Dr. Yung. Thank you for helping me. I feel confident that Dr. Yung will discover what has been an ongoing issue for months now.

I'd like appreciate a receptionist for great communication style by phone, emails, in-person. They are always friendly and resourceful, patient and supportive.
Dr. Andy is a good magician in his work - he made wonderful progress with my trouble and made useful professional advices how to take care of the trouble by myself. He also made referral to his indirect competitor to rehabilitation for my benefits without my request.
Very reliable, trustful, pleasant service. Highly recommended.

The doctor I saw was great! The front office staff really need to work on their customer service skills.not to mention COMPASSION for their patients! People go to the doctor because they have a problem.they don’t come to be treated like garbage.or just another name. It’s also most insulting when you ask to speak with a supervisor or office manager.then get transferred to another rude receptionist.and told the office manager is not in.nobody knows WHEN the manager will be in! Told that the office manager doesn’t have a voicemail OR email address! And won’t even give out the managers name even! 100% clear that the reception staff are clearly trying to hide their bad behaviour from their manager! Unbelievable! Even better.reception says “if you’re not happy.go somewhere else”! With attitudes like that.hopefully the office will be closed soon enough! Sad thing.because the actual Doctor I saw was great! Very friendly and gives good advise. Too bad the reception team brings the clinic down.

Waiting for the doctor is never fun - I can see why some reviews on here would use words like “attitude” & “unprofessional”, but that’s never been my experience here. They work with what they got and if you show gratitude toward effort I think you’d have a different time. This is my go to for quick check ups, 2nd opinions & work claims.

Too busy and slow, very limited walk in slot. Came 20 mins before it opened, and there was only one walk in ahead of me. However, still waited almost 50 mins in the lobby before got into a room. Also, waited another 25 mins in the room before seeing a doctor.

People who came 15 mins after it opened were asked to wait for 2 hours.

NOT RECOMMENDED!

I disagree with the reviews, I feel like the receptionist deserves a lot of more credit for how efficient she is with handling endless phone calls and drop ins. She does a great job in keeping everything in order in this chaos - kudos to you!

For those that call to confirm that walk in is available today, you should not be waiting for 1-2 hours later to drop in at your convenience. It’s so busy that the situation can change at anytime, so I fully understand.

It was a long wait but I’m more than thankful enough to be able to walk-in and see a doctor on the weekend. She was very kind and caring towards my situation and assured me all was in good order. I’m super thankful and relieved that I got assurance about my condition! I’d definitely recommend this clinic!

The receptionist at this clinic has a very bad attitude towards patients. I walked in today to book an appointment with a doctor I usually see for my ICBC claims and I need some prescription for my chronic issues, the receptionist told me I can only book the doctor for one matter with a very RUDE attitude. Hello, are we still in Canada? People are polite here, but not that those receptionist girls are. I kept wondering how do they run this clinic without a little bit respect and courtesy towards their walk-in patients? I do hope the receptionist in this clinic can learn professional manners with polite words at work.

The last time I went there I had to wait 3 hours there wasn't barely even anyone there sure if the guy was on break I'd understand but he wasn't and then when I finally got to see him he prescribed me the wrong medication that was even covered by my health care System I had to go back again and wait another half hour till I get cm to correct it something must be done

Booking your appointment seems useless most of the time. I always go 10-15mins early and they make you wait 30 mins sometimes because the doctor is stuck with other patients. But when it's your turn, they are so rushed that you feel like you have to go. This happens to me all the time. Also, I just talked to this receptionist few mins ago and I wasn't even finished talking and she put me on hold. Seriously. I was also told last week that I should call back to make sure that the podiatrist will do my treatment same day as my appt and that they should be able to know by then. But apparently the podiatrist did not show up on his duty. So now they leave me this problem.

I called back and talked to the other receptionist which handled my questions better.

After a very long wait, Dr Romashin barely looked at my baby and gave us a prescription without saying a word! He didn’t explain anything and everything I asked he answered with a “yes” or “no”. He was rude and we had a terrible experience.

Dr. Romashin seems to have zero knowledge of his practice. He did not explain what my son had, and my wife had to basically keep guessing what to do, and he would just confirm what she said. He did not explain how to use the medication and probably said less than 10 words in our 2min consultation (that we waited over an hour).

A lot lot of wait. Short-staffed. This is always a problem. They are not willing to resolve it.

Doctors are fine. I got the right treatment and medical advice in my feet injury.

PLEASE, IF YOU WANT TO WASTE YOUR TIME TO SEE AN UNPROFESSIONAL DOCTOR, THEN GO SEE DR. RAFET JHAMEEL.
I went in as a walk-in, and the wait at this clinic wasn't long at all, so that's great. Went in there, waited for about 10 minutes in a room. Dr. Jhameel walks in, and I told him my case and he didn't even LOOK at the area of concern. Absolutely nothing. Wrote a prescription, then he's out the door. Obviously I didn't believe his diagnosis (who would? How can you even remotely diagnose someone without even doing a physical examination of any sort - even as minor as actually looking at it?) I immediately went to another clinic in Richmond and the doctor there went through several tests and actually *looked* at the area of concern and gave me a completely different diagnosis (call this diagnosis A). Went to the pharmacy and asked the pharmacist about my situation and she agreed with diagnosis A. All I have to say is, if you do plan to go see him, for your sake, go see another doctor for a second opinion and be skeptical about his diagnosis if he doesn't even *look* at the area of concern.

This star is for the doctors as the reception doesn't deserve any.
Booking appointments are welcome if patients have been to the clinic so I called in today, expressing how much I want to go see a doctor and for the next available appointment.

They told me that I have a no-show back last year so I'm not able to book until I've paid the $30 no-show fee. Explaining that my sister had passed away the week of the appointment last year, I totally forgot about the appointment and hope that I'm still able to book an appointment today and be waived from the fee in such circumstances. They told me until I show some kind of proof of her death, they cannot waive the fee and book my appointment.

Fine, I asked them if they have an email so I can send it to them rather than travelling all way to their office. They told me no, they don't have an email. I need to go to their office in person and show them the death certificate. I expressed to them once again how much I want to book the appointment today as they have very limited spots and if I can show them the proof when I'm there for the appointment. Again, they say no, I have to show them before they can do anything.

At this point, I didn't even care about waiving the fee or not. I was so frustrated by their attitude towards the whole situation, as if I'm making up such an excuse to get out of paying. I had suggested several alternatives to what they requested, but they showed no compassion at all.
If I can't see compassion in such situations, how can I rely on their clinic to take care of my health when needed? I guess they did show me that they don't care, no matter how many times I tell them I want to see a doctor.

So no, I will not be going back to the clinic to show them any proof as they don't deserve my time and they had just lost themselves a patient.
