My experience seeing Dr. Mamacos in a word: upsetting.
He didn’t seem to be particularly interested in the reason for my visit and was far more interested in my private life and personal relationships.
When I told him about myself in quick summary, including my hereditary genetic concerns he called me “a kid” (I’m 43).
He then asked for more info on my general history, so I told him - and at a very quick pace because I wanted to get to the reason why I was there. At that point he asked me if I’ve ever been diagnosed with A. D. D.
I was shocked.
I said, “No. I’m telling you everything quickly because I don’t want to waste your time or mine”. He scoffed at my reply and then asked about my past relationship and why it ended 12 years ago. Whose fault was it? Why have I been single for 12 years? Then insinuated it was because of my newly diagnosed A. D. D.and asked if I’ve ever seen a counsellor.

At this point I was fighting back tears and adjusted my energy to be docile, attempting to steer the subject to the reason why I’m there - lower back issues.
He asked a bit about my leg numbness, poked my spine, asked if it hurt and gave me a requisition for x-ray. I said “Thanks, that’s exactly what I was hoping for”. He did not reply and was silent when I said “have a nice day” as he walked out of the room.

This man seemed to want to needlessly prescribe me Ritalin vs giving a damn about my ailment. Perhaps he’s motivated by financial incentives. The entire experience was bizarre and disheartening. However, I do understand why he’s accepting new patients when no one else is.

The online booking didn’t go through, something went wrong and nobody will pick up the phone calls what a waist of time waiting on the phone for an hour. What the job of the people in the front desk? They even do not have an option to leave a VM. Hard to book appt for my family Dr.

I've been going to this clini My whole life But recently the reception and administration staff has made it so it's impossible to access this clinic.

They removed their phone number from their website and the signage on the physical building, so it's impossible to actually call the reception staff to book an appointment.

The Online web portal never works correctly
And when it does there are no appointments even if you try to both 3 months in advance

This clinic used to be a jewel in Vancouver, with Dr. Low, Dr. Hatlelid, and many others supported by a stellar office staff. Things seemed to go off a cliff when Well Health took over. Countless mistakes with simple appointment bookings and patient administration. Very sad to see this.

Booked a rapid test here and when I got there, it was pretty smooth, I was in and out in 5 minutes, good service. Test was a bit expensive, but you get quality service from it.

It's frustrating to call multiple times, waiting over ten minutes each time, just to have your call terminated without ever speaking to anyone.

I have been calling all day and it's just a dead busy signal that hangs up on you. I've moved and changed family doctor's who need my medical industry asap. All I need is their fax #. They don't list it on there website? ! Such an easy request if they would just list it online.

Every single time I call, the wait time is longer than 20 minutes. I call as soon as they open, and the calls doesn't even go through. I call them 27 times just to trying to make one appointment because my doctor wait is so long and I just need a doctor's note from someone else. They combine my family's file without my consent and they call the wrong number consistently even though I ask them to change every single time.

My doctor's fine, but the reception is awful. Usually when I'm trying to book an appointment I'm on my work break, but have to hang up without ever getting through to anyone. Sometimes I'm on the line for 15-20 minutes without even moving up a single position in the queue.

I've tried over the years there but their service is slow and they lost reports for months. I've had to see several doctors because they all only seem to work 2 days. When you're a woman and told you need anti depressants even if you go in for a rash, well that tells you it's stil old world. Do not see Dr Teoh. When i called to have my files transferred to another doc because mine was leaving i was told the other doc didn't exist even though I've seen him and he's on the site. Really the service couldn't be any worse.

I love my Doctor (Keith Hatlelid - 5 out of 5 stars for him) but the staff and customer service is atrocious. Each time I call it's a minimum 15 minutes on hold, when I do finally talk to someone, or go in for an appointment, staff are surly and inconvenienced by my presence. My last name has not been changed on my file, despite asking many times for it to be changed over the past 5 years after getting married. Most recently, I was charged $50 admin fee for the office to send some documents to my school, and they documents never arrived (and they didn't give me copies of the originals, so my original signed forms were lost). There are some significant changes that need to be made by the management staff.

I've had three appointments here.the quality of the medical information is fine, but 2 out of 3 times, they've unilaterally changed my appointment date after the fact to some other date and just told me to come.that's not really doable for most reasonable working people.i've tried to call back to talk to them three times but have given up after 15+ minutes on hold each time. I just don't have time to deal with their nonexistent customer service

I have honestly had nothing but good experiences at this clinic. Yes, wait times can be sort of long but no worse than any other clinic I've been to. Staff is courteous and I have never had issues communicating with them both in person and online. Everyone has always treated me with respect. Dr. Choquette-Fuks has been my family doctor for several years after a naturopath referred me to him and I am very happy with the level of care I have recieved so far. I tend to have a lot of anxiety surrounding healthcare in general but this doctor has a very compassionate and attentive nature, and this makes my visits quite a bit easier.
