Waterfalls galore and so close together, amazing! A must see is the "the chute" as you can see the salmon jumping as they try to swim up the waterfall, just an amazing sight. This is a little known gem, and it's free.
Very nice park but also very large and unsuitable for short visits. Many tourists visit the first part from Clearwater, but you can also visit very beautiful parts from the Cariboo. Above all, take your time. Canada at its best!
Beautiful Park, we took a long day trip from Salmon Arm, the waterfalls were amazing. Lots of options for hikes for different skill levels. Beautiful lookout for a picnic
Beautiful, compact snow and slippery sections. Road in is almost impassable, turning around is an adventure in itself as well as the hile into the falls. You will have to hike the 8km as this road is completely covered with snow and even a 4X4 will not make it through. Snowshoes are required for the hike in but it's definitely worth it. Make sure you start in the morning to give yourself plenty of daylight. Enjoy and be safe!
Amazing place to go with the falls. Love to be here doing some hiking and did see the salmon. The falls you have to see it with your own eyes.it’s spectacular.
I used to live here as a young teenager. Spent a lot of time exploring the trails on the horses and then hiking as well.
I try to return with friends who have never been to give them a tour of the lesser-known areas. The falls are amazing anyway you go though. All the falls are kid-friendly. I miss living here but it makes it that much more special when I visit.
Make sure you plan for a FULL day to ensure you can hit up ALL Wells Gray has to offer, or camp overnight somewhere in the park to take advantage of at least one of the full day hikes. You won't regret it!
