The untrained and impolite staff at the drive-thru exhibit bossy behavior, causing delays in orders. They play loud music, engage in giggling and chatting, and even use hands-free phones. When customers request timely service, they respond with strange looks and verbally abuse them in Punjabi. This isn't an isolated incident but a recurring problem. I understand that sharing this review may not have a significant impact, as I've come across similar reviews. It's advisable to steer clear of Wendy's, Particularly this one.

You can park right next to Wendy's for 30 minutes or more or there's a drive thru and you can dine inside.
Parking is free and in this area that's amazing.
Now I haven't had a Wendy's burger for several years but the single dave wasn't bad and the service was very friendly, I just wish they toasted the buns and for I think it was $5.75 that's a little pricey, but still pretty tasty all the same

This drive thru has THE worst service. If I could give zero stars I would. Whoever they have working the drive thru speaker, is rude and couldn't care less about customer service. I was met with a "What you want"? And a "Yeah I'm here", when I asked if there was someone on the other end. Radio silence and when he did speak up, was super vapid and rude. All the women at the window were chit chatting away, with zero customer service skills. They all might want to get properly trained if they are going to be interacting with the public so closely. I felt like I was putting them out by ordering. What a team of suck. Avoid this location like the plague!

I waited more than 25min for skip order, the staff doing delivery orders is too slow, they need to arrange someone more faster to do that position.

I went to the location on October 9,2021. I had to repeat my order about five times and still the cashier did not understand my order. Other patrons were waiting on the queue while we were trying to get the order placed. He asked me if I could speak to him in Hindi. I did speak to him in Hindi but that did not help matters either! He asked someone who looked like his shift supervisor for assistance and she took my order without issues. I am not sure what was worse: The embarrassment experienced in front of other patrons, or not being able to communicate with an individual in his local dialect. Not a good experience overall.

I rarely leave bad reviews but this place has problems constantly. They messed up my curbside pickup order 3 times. The most recent time I waited 20 minutes in the curbside spot and I find out they just forgot to take my order out and was sitting on the counter getting cold.

The Wendy's on Kingsway is much, much better. I recommend driving a bit further and going there

It was the first time having Wendy’s burgers at this location. I ordered Spicy Chicken burgers. Bun and chicken were cold and they have really small amount of veggies. The only thing I enjoyed is Orange Fanta. I’m sad I can’t give them 0 star. Try to find another location if you wanted Wendy’s burger.

Update # 2 I order food from skip the dish. Wendy’s didn’t give my food to the driver. They only give him my drink. The drive was confuse on why someone would only order a drink. He double checked with the worker and they said just the drink.

Update: I order food though skip the dish. Wendy’s is the worse of the worse. I waited over an hour and a half for my food. All my food was cold and I was missing an item. If it wasn’t for my daughter, I would have NEVER order from Wendy’s. This happens way too many times. If you are busy, why accept more orders for delivery. I work in fast food. We can decline orders or turn off the delivery system.

The employees need to learn to read English proper. Or go back to school to learn English.
They always screwing up my order. I have stop going there for awhile. My daughter likes Wendy’s so I decided to order Wendy’s again. The employees are still screwing up my orders. It’s like they don’t know how to read. If asked for no ice, they still put ice in or asked for easy ice, they put extra ice. I order 2 cheesy burgers, they put bacon in it. I order 2 large fries, they make it half the size. It’s like more of a med. I used to order a kids meal for my daughter and asked them to make it plain. They put ketchup on it even when it said plain.

I was here to pickup ubereats order and they had all the doors locked. The staff refused to give me the ubereats order. They simply refused and said that i have to come through the drive thru line up. Which means, i wait atleast 30 minutes in drive thru for a 3 dollar delivery. Burn my fuel waiting in drive thru line up. And i actually did wait 20 minutes before i cancelled the delivery and left. This was complete waste of time and my resources. I'm not going to come back as a delivery person and not as a customer to you ever again. I'll be leaving a complaint to your head office as well

I hadn't been there in six months. I found the recipe for the new fries disappointing. Their oversized buns what's the chicken burger also disappointing. Unless they create changes in these areas I will not be going to Wendy's in the future.

Over the last 2 weeks, I've attended this wendys multiple times and each time they've messed up my order or forgotten my items. I understand that they're busy with the dinner rush, but forgetting multiple sandwiches/wraps and giving me the wrong order isn't acceptable.

Great spot, right off Grandview and Boundary Rd. Perfect location to grab a quick bite with both a drive thru and indoor dining option. The restaurant is very clean and they follow the Covid-19 protocols very well. They were really good with following instructions given for my order. Would definitely return to this spot!

I'm not sure. I don't know how Wendy is. She wasn't there. But I did talk to this cute little Indian girl that was lots fun and very friendly. She had a smile that.well. Melted 1/2 my frosty! She hooked me up with a new chicken burger to try and 12 nuggets. Strange, cuz they come in packs of 10. Not sure if I'm going to say anything about the nigets next time I see Wendy, but I will tell her of the good food, great service and warm friendly fuzzy feelings I did get there!

Poor service! Make sure to check your order of is a big order because they are sloppy and it's not right. I ordered a nugget meal for my child and for a cheese burger meal. When I told the drive through window, he gave me attitude. This is the last time I give them business!

I had to wait 30 minutes before someone even took my mobile order, and then after that, an other 15 minutes. In total it took 45 minutes for me to get my food, highly disappointing as they made the Frosties first.

Not my favorite wendy's location. Staff are unfriendly and appear to have a difficulty understanding your order. It's 24 hours, but expect to triple confirm your order and perhaps a long wait

Order via the app! Why? This place can get very busy in both the Pick Up window and cashier. Ordering from the App also has some perks, like 5 chicken nuggets for free with a combo.

Worst customer service and food quality! It made my drive through experience the worst. They are of the majority south asian people who i do not think like this job very much which shows in their behaviour. I had to come out from my car to take food from drive through. They were delivering food keeping their hand inside the drive-throu window! There was lack of gravy in our poutine and meyo in our sandwiches and the Cheese curds were frozen! Have seen people complaining for food! Manager should take care of this matter very seriously to ensure better service!

Small chili + Southwest avocado salad + a junior bacon cheeseburger or a grilled chicken sandwich is my go to. I love Wendy's! Also, their half chocolate half strawberry Frosty's are amazing!

Staff are nice, and the place is usually well-kept and clean. Food is pretty decent, but the signature Dave's cream sodas are the best drinks I've ever had from the self-serve soda dispensers, ever. The orange one in particular is the best!

So today my mother went to order in the drive thru. Since English isn't her first language she's always required to speak clearly and make sure that the person on the other end can hear her. It's normal that she has to repeat herself over and over and be misunderstood so she wanted to minimize those chances of it happening by being loud and clear. Times like these have been no problem to either sides. However, this time she was asked to pull in to the window and we were confronted by a manager who has a South East Asian background (I don't have her name but I should have). She took great offense because she was being high strung and asked my mother why she was yelling at her. My mom was really confused because

A. We didn't even finish ordering
B. This is the only time that this drive thru got offended over this

My mom pointed out those things and the manager literally dismissed her and said "so are you paying or not? ! " I was appalled by this, I mean, that's what we intended to do, order and pay but who's the one making it harder for the both of us?

There was a bunch of back and forth and at the end of it, there was no apology coming from the manager since she in fact started this whole commotion!

I'd like to give her the benefit of the doubt because I'm sure she had a bad day or some sort. But work is work and you're supposed to fulfill your duty in regards to proper customer service. Certainly, especially if you're a manager, there's no way you should be in that position to begin with if you have that kind of behaviour. I'm only posting this review because what happened shouldn't be excused and if she's reading this, I want her to learn from this even if we are just a customer to a big franchise. It was clearly a big miscommunication with a poor sense of judgement on the manager's end. Just apologize and move on. If you have problems don't take it out on other people especially to the consumers. We all have problems and fighting won't do it.

Avoid being ripped off by the kiosk machine. The transaction will go through then you go and ask the manager for a refund and they will say you have to prove it- even after seeing an error message on the kiosk machine- saying that your payment went through.

If you can prove that your card has been charged they will give you a refund. No apologies offered though. All they have to say is the next time you visit the restaurant don't use the kiosk machine.
I used another card though to make sure and again the same happened. So I gave up!

Not surprised at all by the lack of professionalism and customer service skills in the response I got from management. Instead of offering an apology or say that maybe something went wrong with their machine. All they have to say was that something was wrong with both of my cards even after proving them twice that both of my cards were charged by their defective POS system.

Luckily, I could prove that my card was charged and get my money back. Only thinking about those who may not check their card transactions or may not have online access right away to prove a transaction and are getting a charge for a purchase they never made. I wish someone will have the time to take this to the next level so that this people stop stealing other's customer money through their defective POS system at the kiosk station.

I've always preferred Wendy's over the other fast-food burger joints, on account of their better beef and fresher ingredients. I've always found, however, that Wendy's lacks consistency; they would often give you old fries, not drain the grease from your patties, put huge chunks of letus on a Jr. Bacon, forget when you ask for no onions, or something. ALWAYS something. The last time I went to this location, everything was perfect. The fries were hot, the letus was a sensible size, my burgers were not greasy and were put together properly, there were no onions on the burger, the service was fast and friendly.it seems like a simple thing, but its surprisingly rare. This is less of a review, and more of a 'thanks for a job well done.keep up the good work! '

Newly Renovated Boundary location. Service is hot and miss. Trying to figure out the best times to go and what day. Nacho cheese sauce seems runny from time to time. Overall, good neighborhood burger joint.

This place was newly renovated and like all fast food restaurants they've installed self-serve kiosks which is a lot more faster than lining up at the till. Overall you can't go wrong with the Wendy's Burger, always fresh never Frozen.

This place is horrible. The new renos make for no room to wait for your food. Waited over 15 for food while the nachos sat there on the counter getting cold. When I asked for new nachos the burger sat and got cold. And repeat the process before I demanded a refund and was given the soggy, cold food to eat. Long time customer of this Wendy's and a former employee. Completely disappointed and won't be going back.

Fairly decent meal. But the location needs some TLC. Some of the bathroom fixtures were broken, and there was only one changing table located in the disable bathroom. Also the order screen was broken, so I had to keep an eagle eye out for my order.

It took me 30 minutes to get in and out (with no line up) and nothing about it was worth my time or money.
I got in at 4: 40pm and went to the ladies room first. The seat was covered in urine (not the staffs fault) and there was no toilet paper; I went to use the family washroom which was locked (no one was in it) and the men's room wasn't an option. I went to the till and asked for toilet papers, the seat be cleaned, and a key to the family room. It took three people five attempts with keys and still unable to access the family room. The entire time the staff worked on the family room, one girl held the toilet paper and never opened the door the the women's room. After 15 minutes, the staffed hardly cleaned the seat with toilet paper and told me it was properly cleaned.
I went to order my food at the kiosk.and another 15 minutes goes by. I ordered take out as I always do, but it was ready for dine in, missing one of my drinks (unfortunately I didn't notice at the time). I got home to eat my food, and the burger was sour (not in a good way) and I noticed my drink was missing.

Went to this location for a work lunch.
I needed my receipt back in order to be reimbursed, however, they do not hand the receipts to customers if you order through the kiosk.

My problem is not that I was not reimbursed (Through work),
My problem is that i was lied to when I asked for a reprint.
They exclaimed that they cant reprint receipts. I have had to have receipts reprinted at this location because of this, and I also warned the lady at the counter that I would need it right after I ordered my meal.

My order went through around 1: 05 PM and my order number was "Kiosk: 255"

Love the Frosty for a dollar deal. Glad the kids enjoy the chili. Best real food fast I can get on the road. No starchy fillers in the sauce like Tim's, just beans, beef and tomato sauce.

Not Happy at all.did the drive through and ordered Spicy chicken strips and got our meal. 1 minute out on the street down yhe road we discovered that they gave us a chicken burger instead of chicken strips and we were in to much of a rush to go back and rectify the problem.

Well, for starters they didn't even have frosty's, so I'm not even sure they count as an actual Wendy's. Then the burger was undercooked and wrong (ordered with no pickles or onions and had both).

This location always has freshly made burgers compared to other locations. The bacon in the JBC is large and crispy. Overall my experience is great and consistent.
