Wendy's

This is what happens when you sell out to the cheapest labour force and hire a racist hiring manager who only hires their own kind of people. Have had numerous friends apply who used to work here but they only hire their friends, family, or the same type. Awfully rude and horrendous English, very dirty restaurant and disgustingly smells like curry inside when it should smell like burgers.

Went in to a next to empty resturant and ordered 3 combo meals, we get our drinks and then proceed to stand there for 20 minutes watching cars flow through the drive through. And delivery drivers pile up inside. I had to go up to the counter and ask where my order was and the guy behind the counter really seemed like he forgot about my order.

Have used this Wendy’s 4x for delivery, not once have we received the correct order or all of our food.
While the food usually tastes decent enough my most recent trip to this location ruined any chance of ordering from this location again (October 28th 9: 00pm)
Not only were they not using gloves to handle food but they were handling the cash at the same time without washing hands in between.
Pair that with finding three hairs in one burger…

I only ordered one item. I asked for the item to be fresh cooked, although I'm not sure if it was. Seemed hitter than usual.

We usually go for baked potatoes through drive up. At times tgey are amazing. However too often they are raw inside. This should not be that hard to get right.

They should really have a sign up if there lobby is going to be closed and they neef to Prioritize speed

This location is in need of some serious help, they might need to bring in people from head office or something line up is always wrapped around the building and inside is a nightmare. Showed up at 10: 15am and I was told they had no more eggs, sausage or biscuits for breakfast. Breakfast is over before 11am? Then I went to order lunch and they said chicken would be a 10 minute wait, so what do they have? Figure it out guys. It wasn’t even lunch yet and they were already struggling. Victoria needs another location to take some of the pressure off of this location.

It's time to upgrade this parking lot. Nothing against Wendys food is great service is excellent it's just chaos trying to get to the drive through.

Restaurant is always disgusting, tables are sticky and garbage is everywhere. Bathrooms are just as gross, and staff doesn't take initiative to clean them even after multiple customers let them know. Seems to me like this location needs new management and maybe even new staff.

I was crew on opening day for this location back in 2002. (I think that was the year) anyway.the process has changed so much that the food prep is not the same. The quality coming from this location has been consistently poor. When I asked for a fresh crispy chicken, you know.the nice crispy ones? Yeah, I got the chicken that expired in the draw of shame. It was nasty.

The meat used to be hand laid and pressed (4 corner press) and now they use the clamp method of cooking in masses and it doesn't have the same level of care. Nor did it speed up the process.

I used to love Wendy's when quality was actually their recipe.

This location has steadily been getting worse and worse, which is so disappointing. Last night I waited in a line at the drive thru for 20 minutes only to find out at the window that their debit machine just broke and they are only taking cash. Who is using dirty money during Covid? The week before they were just completely shut down. The staff do their best but management really needs to step it up if this place is going to survive.

Dave would be rolling in his grave. Such a shame, Wendy's has always been one of the better fast food chains around - if there is such a things - but the food here is routinely sloppy, cold and just haphazardly assembled. The biggest grievance with this place is a toss-up between the habitually dumpy interior and the absurd wait times, should you decide to "dine in". If you find yourself there between 4: 00 and 9: 00 pm expect the delivery orders to have full priority. The drivers will jump ahead (it's skip the dishes, not slip the line), expect to wait an inordinate about of time for a simple combo. The drive through will also get priority, and it's often a long line. Wait times and priority to in-house customers is a really big oversight. Add to that, the trashed interior, filthy floors and tables, perpetually "broken" washrooms and it likely explains why the drive through lineup is so long. Going inside is probably a health hazard, with the obligatory SRO folks slumped over tables. 2 stars is generous.

Food is delicious when it's fresh, but that's always a 50/50. Almost always short staffed so the wait can be long. Dining room has sticky dirty floor always but the tables are kept relatively clean. If the owners does out the effort in then this Wendy's location can be the best fast food restaurant in all of Victoria.

Really, really slow service. It seems like 95% of their employees are servicing the drive through or doordash at any given time. What an odd time to be alive. You take the effort to go somewhere, and your last in line behind people who didn't want to get out of their car.

Edit: The service here is ABYSMAL. Dude only filled my chili cup half way, after I had to remind them about it because they didn't put it in my bag. Had to ask for hot sauce and crackers too. I understand that fast food is the bottom of the barrel for jobs, but it's incredible how incompetent some people can be.

If there is more than one person in line, don't expect to get your food for at least 10-15 minutes. Almost as slow as the Pandora Mcdons, which is saying something. Food is good, but holy smokes the staff are slllllllloooooooooooooooooow.

Food is to be expected from Wendy's, but be ready to wait for a while to get served. This location is always busy and understaffed

Took so incredibly long in the drive through was waiting for an hour while there was only 3-5 cars in front of me the whole time.

The food quality is a bit better at Wendy's compared to other fast food offerings, and it is nice they have more healthy options on the menu - baked potatoes, salads and chili. The most frustrating thing about this location is the order completeness when going through the drive through. Regularly items are missing or incomplete. This gets worse if you have any modifications to items but also regularly will miss dressing for salad, utensils, etc.

Rude and inattentive service. Dirty tables, grimy floor and filthy washroom filled with uncollected garbage. Food quality has gone down while prices have gone up. This place is terrible even for a cheap fast food joint.

Everyday, unlike Vancouver where they open at 6am, Vancouver Island opens at 10am except drive thru at 6am.
However, (the only Wendy's drive thru, in Victoria) is always 10 to 20 mins long at any time during the day. I shut my car off to save gas! I hope others do too, please! I try to park and go inside to order to save time and gas and the time it takes is still the same, just inconvenient.please add another Wendy's in Victoria instead of just 1 downtown and 1 on Langford. Maybe Saanich area?

Good food. Fast preparation but there was some misunderstanding about the food order which was OK for us but one of the staff got upset and raised her voice to us and one of the staff.
